Job 2:10 - ...shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?...So according to Job, at first at least, God's judgment of him was just[Job 9:12;30-33], yet he felt compelled by his own honor to speak his part, rather than to directly ask for healing, as it seems.
"Oh that I might have my request; and that God would grant [me] the thing that I long for! Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!" Job 6:8-9
"I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me [not]." - Job 30:20
"When I looked for good, then evil came [unto me]: and when I waited for light, there came darkness." - Job 30:26
"Wherefore I abhor [myself], and repent in dust and ashes." Job 42:6
