Psalm 82
6 I say, ‘You are gods;
you are all children of the Most High.
7 But you will die like mere mortals
and fall like every other ruler.’”

“Jesus answered them,
Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
If
he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?”
John 10:34-36
“
God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
….
Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.”
Psalm 82:1-6, 8 KJV
man was made to be his children and so the word is In The earth redeeming us from death giving us eternal life.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God. …In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
(V14)…And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory
as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
…That was
the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
…But
as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
John 1:1,- 14 KJV
“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and
of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and
that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
John 3:5-6 KJV
“
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
John 6:63
That’s not a human promise it’s supernatural a promise to make us
more than we were when we part the flesh of men. There’s promise of glory to come later after this world.
“For
as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the
Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that
we are the children of God: And
if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him,
that we may be also glorified together.
For I reckon that
the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
For the earnest expectation of the creature
waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. And we know that all things work together for good to
them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to
be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them
he also glorified.”
Romans 8:14-19, 28-30 KJV
“But
we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour;
that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
For it became
him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make
the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For
both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,”
Hebrews 2:9-11 KJV
we’re just men but we’re being made into
the eternal children of God glorified like Jesus forever Gods children of the gospel promises.
(1 Peter 1:18-23, 25 KJV)
