Faith in His Blood !
Those who reject the Lord Jesus Christ have the same belief about the blood of Christ as you do ...
if Christ's death did not effect Salvation, it was worthless, unfruitful

1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot

You cant have Faith in Christs Blood if you believe it was shed for people who are never healed, saved. 1 Pet 2:24

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Those for whom Christ died are healed from rejecting Him, thats why they needed to be healed in the first place, because they apostacized in Adam,

Hos 14:4

I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

The word backsliding is the word mᵊšûḇâ :

  1. turning away, turning back, apostasy, backsliding

In Adam they turned away Isa 53:6,5

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

But Christ has by His stripes healed them

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed

Now you deny this, and yet this is Gospel Truth on what His death accomplished for them He died for, you in unbelief !

Posts 1504 and 1514 did you understand them ?
I responded to posts 1504 and 1514 as follows:

Its a crying shame that so many today in the name of christianity , they teach falsely

yes, a "crying shame" someone would dare to submit a statement such as the following:

God enslaved and imprisoned His People into the power of satan and unbelief

... which is just more of the insidious "gospel of brightfame52".

God did not enslave and imprison any descendant of Adam. Adam, Eve, and all descendants of Adam and Eve become slaves to sin by and through their own actions in suppressing/restraining the truth in unrighteousness (Rom 1:18). Do not blame God for the actions of man.

You need to humbly bow down and thank God for His abundant grace, mercy, lovingkindness ... for God, in His infinite wisdom, sent His son to be the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2).

you, brightfame52, pervert the gospel of Christ ... you preach another gospel (Gal 1:6-7)

Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive

Christ sets us free from the prison of Unbelief !3

Now because of the Death of Christ for His People / His Sheep Jn 10:11,15, satans activity against them is restricted, he can no longer keep them in the prison of unbelief, and deception, and darkness, because for them ,Jesus Christ has bound his activity, and made it of no effect, and so Christ is CREDITED with bringing us out of the Prison of darkness and unbelief Isa 42:7

7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison[Of Unbelief], and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

Yet many in false religion would rather teach falsely that many for whom Christ died and defeated the strong man satan IN behalf of, can and do remain in the prison of unbelief and under the power of satan and his darkness, giving him the victory over Christ, making him yet stronger than Christ over a soul Christ redeemed and suppose to BRING OUT OF the Prison of Unbelief. Such wicked teaching is a mockery against Jesus Christ, and His Victorious accomplishment, and all who teach that its possible for one whom Christ died, can yet die in unbelief and their sins, makes a mockery of Christ's Victorious Death, putting it to open shame, but the Truth of the matter is this,

Satan cannot keep no one in the prison of unbelief for whom Christ died, for he is bound by the decree and purpose against it, and Christ does successfully open their eyes to Faith in Him Isa 42:7

7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

Acts 26:18

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. 31

Here is God's desire for the wicked:

Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die ...

Those who suppress the truth in unrighteousness are without excuse because they reject God ...

Romans 1:

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold [Greek katechō] the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

In vs 18, the words "who hold" are translated from the Greek word katechō which means to hold back, to suppress, to restrain.

In vs 19, we see what it is that men restrain ... that which may be known of God ... for God showed it to them. God reveals Himself, His truth, and that truth, that revelation is suppressed and restrained. So it is mankind who restrains. It is not God Who causes mankind to suppress/restrain ... nor is it satan who causes mankind to restrain ... it is the person himself or herself.

In vs 20, God's eternal power and Godhead is suppressed, restrained, rejected and that is why they are without excuse.

I find this to be interesting about what St. Cyril, the Patriarch of Alexandria in his commentary on Luke 2. "Cyril wrote extensively and was a major player in the Christological controversies of the late-4th and 5th centuries. He was a central figure in the Council of Ephesus in 431, which led to the deposition of Nestorius as Patriarch of Constantinople. " Herewith what he says of the atonement of Christ.

21 Upon the arrival, therefore, of the eighth day, on which it was customary for the circumcision in the flesh to be performed according to the enactment of the law, He receives His Name, even Jesus, which by interpretation signifies, the Salvation of the people. For so had God the Father willed that His Son should be named, when born in the flesh of a woman. For then especially was He made the salvation of the people, and not of one only, but of many, or rather of every nation, and of the whole world. He received His name, therefore, on the same occasion on which He was circumcised.

Your claim that "Christ's death ... was worthless, unfruitful" directly contradicts what is written in Scripture:

1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot

Your claim that "God enslaved and imprisoned" anyone "into the power of satan and unbelief" directly contradicts what is written in Scripture:

The Lord Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world as you have been told numerous times:

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Scripture makes clear that those who reject are without excuse:

Romans 1:

vs 18 - the words "who hold" are translated from the Greek word katechō which means to suppress, restrain. Those who restrain the truth do so of their own accord.

vs 19 - God reveals that which may be known of God and they suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

vs 20 - God's eternal power and Godhead is clearly seen in His creation. The reason they are without excuse is because they suppress/restrain the truth in unrighteousness.

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?
Simple!!! FOR the first time, SINFUL HUMANS, by FAITH (gifted by God) in the perfect SIN OFFERING of Jesus, could really be CLEANSED OF THEIR SIN, and BECOME PERFECT before God with the perfection of Jesus Himself.

The blather about "Election" is ignored.

The atonement death of Christ heals them who reject God, it brings them to God 1 Pet 2:24-25

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

The atoning death of Christ heals the apostacy, backsliding of the ones He died for Hos 14:4

I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

The word heal is the same word used in Isa 53:5

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

And of course Peter uses that scripture in 1 Pet 2:24

Also the word returned epistrephō in the greek means:

o cause to return, to bring back
  1. to the love and obedience of God

Also its a verb in the passive voice, they are being returned, by the power and efficacy of the healing death of Christ.

They fell, went astray, apostatized in Adam, but now Christ heals them.

I know you dont believe this, because you in unbelief !

 ... ripping verses from the context within which the Author of Scripture has placed them is not proper interpretation of Scripture.

read the verses before vss 24-25 and you find this little nugget:

1 Peter 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner

... to those who believe, the Lord Jesus Christ is precious

... to those who are disobedient reject the Stone (Who is the Head of the corner).

The word "disobedient" is translated from the Greek word apistéō and it reveals a person is unconvinced when they should be persuaded by what the Lord has done.

The word "disallowed" is translated from the Greek word apodokimázō and it means to cast away after thorough investigation (testing); to reject after determining something is useless (unworthy).

interesting that you continuously make statements that the death of the Lord Jesus Christ is "worthless, unfruitful" ... which is exactly what those who are disobedient believe concerning the Lord Jesus Christ.

So? The words "going astray" are translated from the Greek word planaō which is a verb in the passive voice.

in vss 18-21 we are told we are to follow the example of the Lord Jesus Christ when suffering wrongfully (vs 19). When the Lord Jesus Christ was reviled, [He] reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously (vs 23).

Unbelievers are going to treat believers in the same manner the Lord Jesus Christ was treated ... we should not be dismayed when this happens ... we should take it patiently, this is acceptable with God (vs 20).

Vs 24 refers to those who are dead to sin ... which would be the believer ... and the believer is not dead to sin until he or she is born again. Before the believer is born again, he or she walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others (Eph 2:2-3).

Those who reject God, and Christ died for them, His death for them heals them of their natural rejection and enmity against God. 1 Pet 2:24-25
