Being saved and becoming a member of the body of Christ are two different things. Jesus' sacrifice of his life saves everyone, but only true Christians will become members of the body of Christ and become part of God's new creation - having a spiritual resurrection. Everyone will eventually believe in Jesus, but there is an appointed time during which we have the opportunity to become members of the body of Christ. After the rapture takes place the opportunity ends. All non-believers in Jesus who have already died have missed their opportunity (and all those born before Jesus came in the flesh) and they will be resurrected as humans again and live on the Earth.
You seemed to have missed the point. I was responding to bojack's comment about Darwinism, i.e. the theory of evolution, which denies that God is the creator, and your comment that it is not a slavation issue. I agreed it was not a salvation issue and I was merely pointing to the Romans 1 passage where the apostle Paul explains God's punishment for people not believing God is the creator. It's Paul who is tying homosexuality with not believing that God is the creator, so don't blame me, blame Paul if you have to blame someone!
Salvation has nothing to do with the topic (age of the universe), but whether or not you believe God was the creator of the universe is related to the topic, IMO.
