I think the universe works on probability. Probability allows certainity of events and also a free will.

Its like in a casino. No matter how many times you win, at the end, the casino always wins.

This is an interesting verse. Do you know what it means?
Lets say I throw heads or tails on if i should take out the trash. Is the LORD giving the answer in that too? What if I flip twice on the same topic?

Does this only apply to important decisions? This verse has been largely discussed in judaism too and there is a joke about it.

You put two rabbis in the room to debate and you end up with three opinions.

The Calvinist may not suggest that his ways and his thoughts are not equal with God's, but they prove by their actions and teachings that they are at least equal with His thoughts and clearly understand His ways.

People are still being saved today because of the witness of a family member or even a complete stranger. People are being saved because foolish and base men of this world are willing to deliver the message of love and forgiveness to his sinful neighbor.

You can bet there are Calvinists the world over that are shaking their heads over some people that get saved. "I didn't think that cad had a chance, how is he elected?' They are so pitiful and confounded.

"But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty" (I Corinthians 1:27).

You post in ignorance. Both Calvinism and Armenianism have long arguments on each of their 5 points with lots of scripture references proving their point. Both are very Biblical and is known as the Quinquarticular Controversy.

Adam obiously was predestined to sin, because the plan of salvation was planned. Acts 2, Peter's "sermon" to the crowd mentions that.
Does anything happen that God has not planned? Adams sin was not eating the fruit, it was lying to Eve about God's word.........a lesson to everyone who thinks they can teach what they think instead of what God says. The cross was predestined as Peter explains.

God told Adam not to eat of the tree, Adam told eve not to eat OR TOUCH it........adding to God's word his own great idea.
