Not long after Titus destroyed the last Temple back in 70AD, some rabbis
got together and decided that Hosea's "calves of our lips" are acceptable
sacrifices in lieu of the God-given system in the covenant that Moses'
people agreed upon with God per the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers,
and Deuteronomy.
Well; the thing is: the covenant's laws trump rabbinical laws.
• Deut 4:2 …You shall not add anything to what I command you or take
anything away from it, but keep the commandments of the Lord your God
that I enjoin upon you.
• Deut 5:29-30 …Be careful, then, to do as the Lord your God has
commanded you. Do not turn aside to the right or to the left: follow only the
path that the Lord your God has enjoined upon you
• Deut 27:26 . . Cursed is the man who does not uphold the words of this law by
carrying them out.
FAQ: Human sacrifices are illegal under the terms and conditions of the
covenant. How then is it not wrong for a Jew to offer Jesus in lieu of the
covenant's sacrifices?
A: According to 1Pet 1:18-20, Christ was designated to go to the cross
before even one atom of the current cosmos was created into existence, and
according to Deut 5:2-4, Rom 4:15, Rom 5:13, and Gal 3;17, the laws of God
are not retroactive. Ergo: Christ's sacrifice trumps the covenant's sacrifices.
» Note the construction of the passage below; penned something like 700+
years before Christ was born. It's grammatically past tense; which tells me
that Jesus' crucifixion was a done deal before even the first nail was driven
into his hands.

we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was
wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the

own way; and The Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Most assuredly, the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross is the only sacrifice that avails for salvation.
However, we can offer unto the Lord a "sacrifice of praise" (Hebrews 13:15) as the kind of offering that tells Him that we love Him more than the thing that we are sacrificing (such as when we obey the food laws, even though they are not required for salvation, to tell the Lord that we love Him more than those savoury meats).

I bump a few of my threads up from time to time in order that the newer people to the boards might be able to see them without having to go deep into page 5 or 6 or later to be able to find them.
I just want to be as much of an influence as I possibly can; so instead of posting the same things over and over, I bump up things that I have posted so that newer people can take advantage of them.

A lot of people seem to do this. My threads get knocked down to page five pretty quickly by my experience.
I don't think that the forums are pandemonium because of it.
It is better to bump up the thread by the time it gets to page 5 than to let it keep going to higher pages; because if I did that, my threads would be absolutely buried in the rubble.
Note that I usually don't bump them up when they are on page 3 or 4; but I wait until they get to page 5 or later to hump them up again so that they can at least be found in the first five pages of the forum.
