Scriptures for living a Christ like life:

  • Romans 8:2-8 - The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus sets us free from the law of sin and death. We should live according to the Spirit, not the flesh.

  • Philippians 2:5 - We should have the same mind as Christ Jesus, who humbled himself and became obedient to death on the cross.

  • Matthew 11:29 - We should take Jesus' yoke upon us and learn from him, for he is meek and lowly in heart, and he will give us rest for our souls.

  • Galatians 2:20 - We have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer we who live, but Christ who lives in us. We should live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave himself for us.

  • Romans 12:1-2 - We should present our bodies as a living and holy sacrifice to God, which is our spiritual worship. We should not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind, to prove what the will of God is.

Bream....or a small mouth bass. It's not a crappie. And it isn't worth keeping.
Not worth the keeping
I was thinking small mouth bass when I reeled it in, but on closer examination, it looked somewhat like a carp or drum. I did not keep it.

I was even thinking small mouth bass/carp or drum hybrid. :giggle:

It was a baby for sure.
That's why I lean towards larger baits. And for whatever reason I still get them baby large mouth bass. I get disgusted from being teased like that.

You might be right about it being a carp too.....that coloring and shape leans that way....meaning a trash fish.

Well....keep after it....I got lemons and butter waiting for a nice dinner.

Can anyone identify this fish? I caught it in a lake in Missouri.
Carp. Toothless bottom feeder.

Many different kinds and found all over the world. Generally not good eating, but some people will eat them if caught during the winter months. They can get really, really big.......sometimes called Crockers because of the noise they make

hi everyone, did you ever think how God makes Angels, and do they have homes, :unsure:mmmmmmm hi beckie
Same way He makes/made everything He has made.......See Genesis, Chapter 1. I suspect their home is in heaven around the Throne of God. Now, the fallen angels aren't quite so lucky........

If you mean "homes" such as what we live in here on earth, no. Celestial creations have no need of physical "homes."
