One of my co-workers was fishing on Truman lake in Missouri the other day and witnessed an eagle trying to catch a fish in the lake, but the fish was too big and it pulled the eagle down in the water and the eagle was unable to fly out of the water, so it had to swim to shore.

I want to congratulate AuntieAnt & JosephDreams who tied the knot several days ago. Praying for all of God's best for the newlyweds. It's amazing that God allows peeps to meet here on this site, fall in love, and get married. While this may not be a dating site it is in my opinion, and excellent resource for those considering finding the one of their heart's desire. Another amazing CC romantic love story in the books. You just never know who you are going to meet.

Meanwhile;
Ole Dan is on yet another 4 day vacation doing who knows what...… so I can report on my trip to the Lake yesterday without fearing that he will learn of my …. uh, er, ….. success?
Some days are diamonds, some days your just drowning worms, and yesterday was surely a worm drowning day.....sigh..... No fisherman wants to be "shut out" but it will happen to all fishermen sooner or later.....
There was ONE BIG CATCH, sadly not by me, but I was the only one strong enough to hold it up to get a picture of it.......no, seriously, 5 1/2 hours of fishing and this was it!

Went to the Nature Preserve near my sister's house this morning...….just because

I had Dewey assisting me this morning. Well, he was mostly trying to steal my worms while I fished, but he did provide some entertainment...….

Been a rough couple of weeks for me... feel like I’ve completely lost touch with this place. People I used to talk too, are no longer here, and I just don’t have the time to get on sometimes.
Being a mom has completely changed my life... sometimes I’ve considered closing my account yet again, then decide against it cause there are a few times I can just jump on but doesn’t mean to stay logged in. I hate saying goodbye, besides I think i can manage logging on occasionally right?
