One persons Pet is another persons Provisions............. :)

Speaking of eating cats, a friend of mine was a cameraman for a news segment where they investigated two KFCs in California owned by someone who abducted neighborhood cats to save money on chicken.

I think of that every time jokes are made about eating cats. It is not pleasant.

Furthermore, I lived in Korea for a year and a half where one did not dare let their dog run around the neighborhood because it could end up on someone's table.

I don't find jokes about eating pets very palatable.

It is 10:05 a.m.. and I just barely woke up!! This is the absolute latest I've EVER slept to in the morning. So I got up, took a tinkle, gagged down my pills, and poured some coffee.. Life is... starting to become bearable..lol

I saw a recipe for how to prepare elephant for cooking, recently :D

Elephant Stew

1 Elephant
200 c Water
700 ts Salt
Pepper, to taste
650 (10 oz.) cans brown gravy
2 Rabbits (optional)

Remove tusks; wash well; cut into chunks - takes about 2 weeks.

Place meat in large kettles; season with salt and pepper. Cover with water and gravy. Cook over kerosene fire at 455 degrees for about 4 weeks, or until tender.

This amount should serve 3,800 people; however, if more guests are expected, you may add 2 rabbits the last hour of cooking, but do so only if necessary because most people do not like to find hare in their stew.

Dear Lord in Heaven, bring your comfort to the people of Georgia, get them through their trials and ease their pain. Amen.
