Take a hot water bottle to bed with you, it really works.

Just fill it with freezing cold water chilled from the fridge :)
Had one of those one time........then I got a divorce.........

Wow, those pictures are beautiful Magenta!

Today I scrolled by an ad on Facebook for Petsmart. It was for their boarding services. I was looking at the add and noticed a comment from a woman that said, Petsmart is all about Dogs and has no pictures of cats in their windows. They don't even have space for the shelters to put cats that are up for adoption.

Kind of weird because I adopted my cat Sam from Petsmart and there's a ton of cat stuff at Petsmart. I've actually seen people bring their cat with them to Petsmart. Her post made me chuckle. She must be a member of Cat Lives Matter. ;)

Don't quote me.........but, I'm PRETTY SURE Petsmart has some serious investments in a chain of Chinese Restaurants......(that may be one reason?)

The Bird has no natural enemy no mo---

The Bird’s natural enemy was what we now call the domesticated “cat”

It was once an animal living in the wild

And birds were its prey

.,.,.,.,.,No more.,.,,

the cat no more hunts’

For this the bird populations around the world is exploding

They no longer have a natural enemy
Because we made it a pet instead
They did learn how to fly
Way before we learned
The bat comes in second

Do you know why bird's are everywhere-
What say you-?

I say cats still hunt and catch birds, and rats too, and bats as well.
But more and more cats are being kept inside... coyotes eat cats.

Cats, domesticated or feral, are one of the few creatures on earth who kill just to kill. Not because they are hungry, not because they are protecting themselves, their litter, their territory, just to kill.

And, even worse, sometimes they will corner their prey, tease it, taunt it, tear at it, and then let it go. Cats give torture the definition of what it truly means.

Heh, that is funny! I got my rescue cat at Pet Smart also!

More doggie pics... the last one looks serious, but when Koda was a puppy, the two dogs played for hours at a time like this. Coco never gave up asserting her dominance :) And Koda has yet to stop challenging her! There are some lovely off-leash dog areas around town :) We do live in a beautiful part of the world

Terrible creatures lol. We used to have lots of birds on our place till I got Trixy then she murdered them. Dad threatened to get rid of her.
Dogs will kill for no reason too. Just go into paddocks and maul lamb after lamb :(

We have a couple of dog parks in my area. We go now and then. I like to watch the dogs play, it's fun.
