Millionth? No, it's far less than that. But they do go back a long way. 6,000 years long.

Hey y'all.. So I gotta ask this... Mainly for the married folks on here... As you all know, a married couple around my age helped me out tremendously when I needed help the most financially... They told me not to worry about paying them back, as they said "we're a family. Families help each other." Meaning we're a church family... It's still a lot of money to just not say thank you in some way, in my opinion. So I want to buy them a gift card to a nice restaurant next week when I get my pay check... Just to say thank you.. The thing is... The guy is going to school to be a firefighter... And he will have classes on Monday nights, so he won't be at church anymore unfortunately... His wife will still be, though. Having said that... Would it bewrong of me to give his wife a thank you card with a ggift card in it, even though I would tell her this is for the both of them, and to open it together, as a way of me saying thank you for their help? Would I be crossing some line, since they're married? Or... Am I thinking way too much into it, and making a big deal out of nothing? When I came home last summer after graduating., they were the first two people that welcomed me into the church and became friends with me, so it's not like I'm just friends with the husband and only know his wife because he's married. They both helped me feel welcomed when I was new. I'm just looking for some insight, as I really feel like I should thank the both of them in some way. Any thoughts?

I think it is really sweet of you to want to show your appreciation, and also think it
would be fine for you to give the card to her in public while her husband was absent.

My thought for the evening ;
The best gift a mother ever gave,
was time spent on her knees praying
for her children.

Good night everyone.

So last night I learnt that the Vatican invented Islam. Yes, you heard right.

Is there anything they didn't invent?

(I believe this is a load of tosh, but it's funny what people believe)
