I need some prayer. I feel so guilty for saying this after all that God has blessed me with today, but I am angry, upset, and hurt. I really didn't need this right now and I know these feelings are not of God and I need God's peace to surround me. Please forgive me for all these hurtful feelings. I want to feel love and show others love.

You heard that old joke? Buncha folks standin at the Pearly Gates of Heaven and the good Lord himself greets them and finds time for a sight seeing. They are passing through a hallway with a lot of doors. Behind the doors there are saved people livin their eternal life in Heaven. It was baptists, methodists, first presbyterians, catholics, lutherans etc. Then there's a door which is closed. The Lord is suddenly speaking in a hushed voice...shhhh....keep quiet, behind that door is the (insert denomination of your own choice, first time I heard this one it was pentecostals behind the door) and they believe they are the only one's in Heaven...

Our Heavenly Father, we come humbly to Your throne in faith knowing that You are the one and only true God ... a God of abundant love and mercy ... a God Who wept for His own while You walked amongst us with deepest love and heartfelt compassion. Our loving Father ... hear the prayers expressed on behalf of our dearest Ellie and grant to her body both Your favor and Your healing ... and do for her whom we love what You have done for others in their time of great need. Grant to her and her loved ones O Lord an abundance of time and a quality of life that they may glorify and exalt Your name above all names here on earth as it is in Heaven. We know that Your love for us has no bounds nor limits and we know that You are able to do exceedingly more than we could ever ask. We ask You Father not for ourselves but for Ellie. Hear us Lord we pray. Examine our hearts Father and grant to our dear sister that which we ask of You on her behalf. We love You Jesus and we live in thanksgiving for Your great offering of Yourself on our behalf. May the comfort of Your Holy Spirit encompass every soul participating on this thread. We unite with each other for Your Name's sake dear Lord ... and we give You Your most deserved glory. Thank You Father in the most precious name above all names, ... our Lord and Saviour ... the King of Kings ... Jesus Christ ... Amen. ♥

Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart,
but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus’ sake.
For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. (2 Cor 4:1-6)
