All the above. Evangelize, if you're called to do that ?? Pray about it . But End times Yes we need to be in scriptures understanding that exactly as its written . Should it be something you do all day ? Thats up to you. But its important .

End times is what Christ taught And He said it was very important ,vital for a Christian to Read and Understand .
We should always have time for God's words .
When i think of Focus, personally in study end times is a must to understand .

If you're putting any time to talking to people about the faith ; end times may eventually come up because Christ taught it .

I personally find its important to talk about with follow believers ; only what Im comfortable with .

But you dont have to talk about it with people, until you've actually read and studied the Bible yourself .I dont think people should be debating or teaching it, unless we've actually studied this to the point of recall as the Bible presents it .
But All the Words of God is important to stay focused on.

If not why are there so many books in the old and new testaments that speak of it,,,lol

To add to my previous post, I often dont practice what i preach . But im just drumming on what i think is important for you to get, that we need to study, and we need to be on the foundation Christ laid .

The rest, id believe we'd have to do as we feel or think to be lead . If you want to focus on evangelizing to the unsaved, those who know nothing of Christ, and are lost in the world, and need Christ, then you should pray about it and ask God about it . There is no doubt there are lots of lost and aimless people in the world Christ could piece their lives back together .

But always study the word too, we dont want to mislead people . Just preaching Christ, you should have little chance of misleading people . But when it comes to end times, its a bit more risky until you've studied it totally as the Bible presents these things

We have made those words into something other than what was actually being spoken of.

I suppose so in general. I was born a little baby(in the cowboy days, lol) and pretty much what I found to be made of it was made already by men long before I was born. So as to the subjects that the old books were written about or any of the thread titles in the modern forms I really find that I only ponder what they all find most important to speak about. What ever there is that seems most important is arbitrary, that is something that does not have us stumped will find little time in conversation.

While I personally believe the return of Christ may be near, should that be our total focus or should we be busy doing evangelizing, praying, helping those who are lost?

lol, There is soteriology and eschatology,(I see them hand in hand but that’s just me,lol)

You suggested things in the O.P. to be busy doing instead of...and it made curious

When were you saved? were you 16 or 12? Are you going to be saved at some time in the future? Were you saved on the cross by the blood of the Lord back when he was crucified? The act of salvation do we all share the same date that we were saved on or do we all have different dates that we were saved on(i.e. 1962,1983 2011 ect.? When were you saved?

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

Rev 22:7 "Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”

Rev 22: 18-19 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

Revelation, the only book of The Bible to contain a blessing for those who read it. And a curse for anyone who tampers with it.
Perhaps it's important?

Prophesy of revival and time of trouble translated from Chinese by electronic translator and edited in plain English.
The Lord sais to His beloved: Joint prophesy from different churches
In the beginning of this new year, I will release an immeasurable global revival that has not occurred since the apostolic era, in transforming the lives of many people. In this ingathering home I desire to reveal my heart to everyone of you. There can be no separation, no sect, because I'M coming. So everyone of you will be vigilant as the enemy will do his best to take many of you back, but I know how to give each of you more power than the enemy, to stop what the enemy wants to do. The Lord sais to all of you: Be Hopeful and be ready to expect immeasurable things to happen from 2018. To those who do not understand the mysteries that are happening all over the world, I will give them my heart. The Lord sais to you: My heart is to ask you to lead the life of a good soldier, not to be at ease but to be vigilant at attention. For everyone of you who is true to me I give you strength and strength. The next few months will see some great changes in the world. Don't be afraid because I'M coming. The Lord sais: Remember that you are experiencing the beginning of a disaster and that the beginning of a disaster is a disaster. You need to be loyal. I'M coming.
The Lord sais to have the heart to look forward to: I'M coming! Amen

2 years ago when praying for direction the Lord told me: Do the work of an evangelist, this surprised me. As I pondered this, the next 2 words did not surprise me: Fear not I am with you, and; Pray for the Anointing. This last word, refers to being carried by the Holy Spirit to do what we can't. Need to be honest and admit its a work in progress, you may ask why? I can ask you the same question: why doesn't the Holy Spirit have your whole heart? why are you not cough up to God? why are you distracted by other things? But that is not my point either, we all have trouble. Shortly after the lord told me my calling I had an argument with someone in a bible study meting where he began disrupting the meting, expressing that he believed in the Holy Spirit but did not believe Jesus is God, then I disrupted the meting real good with him, and then realising the mess I made, felt I should leave as I was to heated up to calm down. I did go back and apologise and the Lord told me: I don't need your help. Deep down we know we are not to try and fix people and their issues, also we have a cleaver enemy who works where he gets a foothold. My view since gradually and suddenly and more gradually changed to I don't need to be heard, that is not what affects change for good in people. "What must we do that we might work the work of God? This is the work of God, that You believe on Him whom He has sent." We can read this without getting it: believing Jesus is following Him into His death to all that is not of God, then we are carried by the Holy spirit: to do the work of God. To believe and go from strength to strength and appear before God, to "Count is all joy, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of god in Christ Jesus concerning you." "I can do nothing of myself except what I see the Father doing." By now a witness should have new meaning: To see what God is doing and nor run ahead of Him trying to help. Knowing its His work we can run ahead, "As laborers together with God," "Now we see dimly" and we "Walk in the light" we have, to get more light. There are strong holds of the enemy that need to be broken over people and unless our heart is perfectly towards God, it will not happen to us to have His anointing that breaks the yoke of bondage. "Wars are appointed until the end." "The eyes of the Lord run to and fro through the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him."

Sounds like you were in a struggle to "go out and save people" and then you realized that the true struggle was never to "go out and save anyone" but was that you did not yet believe they were and that in fact what you should have done from the beginning was to help them understand that he had in fact saved them and see if they believed it. lol,,,funny isn't it how those who don’t yet believe it seek it,,their works confess them do they not?

Thats the thing about it in that one who believes Jesus our Lord saved us will say "thank you Lord"...

On the other hand there are the others who because they do not believe he did beg for it,they will lay in the bed at night and pray and hope he comes. They will think to themselves that if they take two sticks and lay them out in a certain pattern they will then be saved.

It is an horror to be born and live your days and lie in the bed at night and admit to your own self that you do not know. It is an horror to live the life and instead of ever saying "thank you Lord" always say "please Lord" and beg.

But who will believe it you might not know if not for their works...

Hope you realize the depth of your statement here: that the whole world is in His hands and being a witness of the resurrection is about living in His sight and not about trying to rescue people who have been rescued and we cant expect unbelievers to be seeking first the kingdom of God, that is our purpose: that we may be a witness of the resurrection.

Colossians 1:15-16 our saviour predates those whom he would save,,,the Lord is no afterthought.
