Agreed.
Unfortunately there can be a belief that human activity is the only thing that captures God's attention.
He loves each of us unconditionally, he only hates our sins. The same way we love our children but just want the best for them and his love is even greater.

Also technically we have no idea how much evil that God does prevent. For all we know compared to Gods knowledge. He is the only reason we are not completely like the days of Noah just yet. For all we know we see 50 acts of violence but God has stopped 1000s.

Exactly. I read a devotion of a child who held his mother's hand with her eyes closed while he guided her to a surprise, knocking items out of the way. She had to trust that he wouldn't let her step on anything or fall. She referenced that to the point that we have to trust God in the same way. We don't know how many things he has protected us against.

Why did God allow Christians to slay wicked people the bible
And why does he allow rape (especially children)?
A. Murder and kill are two different things and the commandment is directed at murder and SOLOMON said there is a time to KILL

B. God used war, nations, kingdoms to punish nations, people, kings etc....And when God KILLS he is 100% justified

C. The wicked KILLED were evil, they sacrificed children alive and by burning, they had sex with animals, had entire cities burnt due to MEN rejecting virgin women in favor of men...these people were culturally insane...plus even in that judgment was mercy...

D. Show me two sets of verses in context where God promoted or allowed rape, or the rape of children!

Book of Macabees has got some terribly violent scenes in it. A whole family gets tortured and killed one by one. I think it was to show how brave and faithful were those true to Yawheh though.

I am using the king James version Bible, there is no book of macabees in the KJV. Which version of the Bible do you read?

Book of maccabees isnt in the Bible because it wasn't agreed on in the original canon. So this is why many Christians do not consider the book of maccabees to be inspired or equivalent to God's Word as written in the 66 books of the Protestant Bible.

We can be certain here and now of our salvation. No worry or mystery required.

I only trust the KJV, I don't know what's been added to the other version or tampered with.

I use the NIV but also always compare scripture with the KJV and others. But if you learn how to navigate a interlinear Bible online or in book form then this can help you see if even the Kjv is accurate.

A interlinear will give you the actual Hebrew or Greek translation and then the nearest English word to fit that translation.

There was at least 7 English Bibles before the KJV. The Kjv was promoted by the government and excluded Bible commentary from the Geneva Bible. The Geneva Bible is where the KJV originated from but King James didn't like the reformation leaders that wrote the commentary on the Geneva Bible.

So I dont need to bring my modem with me?
I trust God more than anything but I like to believe that because he is God and anything is possible with him that he allowed his word to stay in tact but of course there will always be modified versions of the bible.

Lol.
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord .
