Also I am getting the sense that being drunk is not so bad if even really a sin. Some people or groups make it sound like you are sure going to Hell if you get drunk.
Perhaps it depends on the context and situation. It is approved for weddings. It will be partaken of in Heaven.

Matthew 26:29
“But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.”

I have communion on my own and drink 1 fluid oz. of wine. Towards the end of my drinking days I would drink 30-50 12 fluid oz. beers per day and starting around 12 yrs old I would drink as much as I could get at home or steal. Now I have heard preachers talk about drinking like any one who even has a beer is going to Hell. I started listening maybe 4 yrs ago to Mike Hoggard in Festus, Mo., and thought he knew what he was talking about and he apparently is a tee-totaler and real down on drinking. I am not down on drinking but can't come to terms with complications it has caused in my family.

I listen to Stanley on broadcast tv here in Chicago on the weekends and he seems ok. I only figured out to listen to him about 6 months ago. I thought he had a gimmick before that.
Better late than never, I suppose. He does have a gimmick. He's a sold out OSAS false teacher that sells books & DVD's with the best of 'em.

Sounds like your saying Stanley is ok. I listen to a lot of Charles Spurgeon. I am assuming you know who he is. A person from Bob Jones university recorded many of his sermons and a group in Florida hosts a web site making them available for free.
