Hiz
I don't mean to keep bugging you, but I can't help it. I see you as a man that loves god and wants to serve Him. I think your just hung up on some stuff that you have been taught and it is a difficult thing to unlearn what you have been taught. I know it was difficult for me and I am not perfect.
Hiz,
It always goes back to the cross. Even in the OT, it is not about learning and speaking Hebrew nor is it keeping feast days. I meant they kept them for thousands of years and did not help, He still destroyed Israel and Judea. Right or wrong? It is about the cross.
It's about YHWH, and the One He sent to be our Mercy and our King, I read one of your posts the other day and I thought it was a great post, the only reason I didn't "like" it was because it said, "focus on the cross." Symantics I know, but we should focus on Him, what He has done, is doing, and will do. I think you misunderstand me, I'm not trying to be Jewsih. I tryiong to follow Yahweh in truth, it was the pharisees who replaced His name with, "The Lord" so how am I trying to be "Jewish" by using YHWH instead of "The Lord".
And you said, "your just hung up on some stuff that you have been taught and it is a difficult thing to unlearn what you have been taught"
That is the beauty, I have never been a member of any church, denomination, anything here on earth. I have attended, but I have been studying Scripture since I was about 5 years old, had periods where I was unfocused and distracted by the world, but started with Genesis, and when I got to Isayah, I stayed there for a long time, but have throughly studied all Scripture thanks be to Yah! I have listened to teachings, but out of all the years I have been seeking Yah, there is about 95-99% of that learning was done directly through Scripture and prayer. 10 years ago I believed the status quo, but when I read Daniyl, and understood it, thanks be to Yah, that is when things really started to change. As a child I always asked older people, "Jesus do His Commands, why don't we do them?" I was told, "that's for the Jews..." I always just accepted it, like I said until I really studied and Yah gave understanding.
Reminds me of this:
Daniyl 10:12, "Then he said to me; Fear not, Daniyl, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to chasten and humble yourself before your Father, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words."
The two passages that got me curious were:
Isayah 56:1-7, "This is what Yahweh says: Keep the judgments, and do justly; for My salvation is near, soon, to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; who keeps the Sabbaths without polluting; defiling, them; and keeps his hand from doing any evil. Do not let the son of the Gentile, who has joined himself to Yahweh, speak, saying; Yahweh has utterly separated me from His people. Nor let the eunuch say; Behold, I am a dry tree. For this is what Yahweh says: To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose those things which please Me, and hold fast to My covenant: I will give to them, in My House, even within My walls, a place and a Name equal to that of sons and of daughters; I will give them the Name of The Everlasting: YAHWEH; which will not be cut off. Also the sons of the Gentile who join themselves to Yahweh, to serve Him, and to love the Name of Yahweh, to be His servants--everyone who keeps the Sabbaths without polluting; defiling, them and who holds fast to My covenant--I will bring them to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My House of prayer..."
Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against Yahweh, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of Yahweh, and
think to change times and Laws..."
When I bounced that off of the testimony Yahshua (Jesus) gave I knew threre was something I had missed:
Matt 24:
20, "But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath Day, For then will be great tribulation, such as has not come to pass since the beginning of the world to this time--no, nor ever will be."
Mattithyah 5:18, "
For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."
Luke 16:17, "
But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."
Since there is only 1 way now, no Jew and not Gentile, only the body of Messiah, it raised more questions.
Matt 24:11-13, "And many false prophets will rise, and will deceive the many. And because iniquity will abound, thelove of the many will grow cold. But he who endures until the end, the same will be saved."
