Then what does these mean contextually:

Psalms 116:
15Precious in the sight of the LORD
is the death of His saints.

Isa 57:
1The righteous perish,
and no one takes it to heart;
devout men are swept away,
with none considering
that the righteous are guided
from the presence of evil.

2Those who walk uprightly enter into peace;
they find rest, lying down in death
.
go back and read the full Ps 116 look above and below the verse you are looking at then look for other verses, chapters books and the whole bible on the parallel of verse 15 do that to the others too.
who said it, why did they say it, and how did they apply it.
than being said Ps 116 :15
God sees his saints and is mindful of them in everything even death. That can be an application but I did not read the full PS so it can be reinforced with other verses in that PS.

Then why is it that God is asking the church (in the last days) to come out of Babylon, if everything is rosy within the church:

Rev 18: 4Then I heard another voice from heaven say: Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues.

Or you think God is asking Netanyahu to come out of Damascus?
who said it is rose with the Church? did you read what Jesus said in REV chapter 1 and 2? start ion chapter one and two before you get to 18

you have not understood (big surprise there since you refuse the One who gives understanding)

the gift of tongues, with regards to the person God has given the gift to, is edified by their praying and or speaking to God in tongues

now tell me and everyone else, why you study the Bible (if you do)

do you not seek to gain knowledge? and what is that but edifying yourself

you seem to be having problems in English also
I read the bible for my understanding, not to appoint myself an authority in wisdom and knowledge.
Gifts were for the common good of the assembly - means non of the gifts was for self edification but precisely for the edification of others.

There's simply no such thing as self edification when one doesn't understand what they are saying, edification is closely tied to understanding that's why it is said, for others to be edified, tongues MUST be interpreted for their understanding. Otherwise if gibberish can edify someone, then in the same way the group should be edified without understanding.

English is not my first language so bear with me.

I have? You must be thinking of someone else, christian chat has not hired me or determined to be a teacher, i am here as a guest, to discuss Gods word.

In the context of Christian chat, a moderator shouod be held to th highest standard, because even if someone here is a pastor of a certain church (and there have been many) a moderator has the power to chasten or ban thm giving them the highest responsibility in this setting, whoever is given the highest responsibility is given should be held to the highest standard,

What irony? Your basing your words on feelings which are based on assumptions which again are not true.

what a hypocrite you are

I have not said that to ANYONE in this forum, privately or in a post and I've been here a good 4 years since I had left and then came back so the date I joined is really not correct.

you have called yourself a teacher more than once in this forum; you have said you teach...now you flip and say this is not a church so it does not matter? and you do that in the context of 'listen to me. I'm a teacher so I know and you are wrong'

you have no class and I begin to understand why you might have a problem with a mod. you can't get him to kiss your feet

I find your post shocking hence my anger revealed in my response. but I don't think I am sinning. I really am gobsmacked by your hypocrisy and the fact you have no control over yourself

you have gone after people like a hound with your nose to the ground...baying at all around and attacked people time after time

then you were gone for awhile and you came back and you seemed to have a better grip on things

apparently it was just icing on a cake that has been left out to go to bad

if you want a forum where a mod will ban someone even for this post, I can recommend a couple

you can hide behind them while you snipe at people and maybe even have the respect you want so badly and indeed NEED to bolster your fragile ego

dude get over yourself

I don't care what you respond with. I understand you so much better than I did before I came back on here just now

there most definitely is a problem here and YOU are it

you entice people to argue with you with your OUTRAGEOUS posts and then you report them. there was a whole group of people doing this in a certain over 4000 page long thread and you were right in the middle of it and people were banned...good people

I am over being angry now and I feel sad at this point. I don't stay angry long but I have enough of your charade

Can "...Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints..." mean anything apart from what it means?
You want me to read from Genesis to Revelation so that Psalms 116:15 can have a changed meaning? this is really sad.
Other verses with same meaning are ; Isa 57 and also Jesus saying the days of the elect are shortened so that they are saved.

But you don't even need the bible just look around you, do your 'favorite men of God' pass away or do they live forever? and if they die, is it that the devil has overpowered God?

no I don't want you to do anything but we are to consider the full word of God. Again you want to attack and misrepresent my comment. If you can stop attacking and hating then maybe your point will come to be. if my application was wrong please tell how, or leave it alone.

Nobody just wakes up one day and claims they did when they did not. These people will be surprised and it shows that they actually did miracles all along thinking that it is from God when it was not. On the other hand, God's people will also be surprised when Jesus will tell them "you saw me naked and clothed me, you saw me hungry and fed me..." and they will ask "..master, when did we see you naked...". This is what it means the first shall be the last and the last the first.
It still does not say they healed people, spoke in tongues or raised people from the dead,

Your example does not back what you claim it does. Your going off of assumptions at best. That is not using good hermeneutics for interpretation

Fail.
Luke 17:
20When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs. 21Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”c

22Then He said to the disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. 23People will tell you, ‘Look, there He is,’ or ‘Here He is.’

The Messiah speaking here was clearly observable.
I believe you are doing as preterists would and hyper-extending the verses from Luke OUT OF CONTEXT, ignoring rest of the testimony of scripture.

What we get from the rest of scriptures is the sun and moon going dark, Jesus returning with ALL EYES seeing Him, the trumpets vials and seals etc.

These are clearly things we can SEE.

Yes, your comments and interpretation of many scriptures here are off and i have explained how but to you, everything that comes from me MUST be an attack and the scriptures that i quote MUST be out of context before i even quote them according to you.
Never mind, i'm guilty as charged.

Gibberish is an English word that best describes the modern day phenomenon of 'tongues'. If the words are meaningless, they are gibberish.

This is very serious misinformation from you.

1. The sun and the moon and the stars falling or not giving their light doesn't mean what you have been indoctrinated to think.
Everything will be very normal to the very end, just like the days of Noah, people will marrying and being given for marriage, drinking, eating and making merry and suddenly, the day comes like a trap. This is what it means coming like a thief in the night.

Believers are the light of the world and the lights of the world are the sun/moon/stars. When it is said they fall or are blooded or darkened, it means the antichrist overcomes them by lies and are taken out of this world through death so that they are saved.

2. Jesus' return is not an event that people will open their eyes and see while saying "look". Seeing the sign of man coming with the clouds means at the very end, everyone will understand even those that are opposed to God, but it will be late. Jesus during His judgement said:

Matt 26:
63But Jesus remained silent.
Then the high priest said to Him, “I charge You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God.”

64“You have said it yourself,” Jesus answered. “But I say to all of you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

I believe the people in the courtroom 'saw' Jesus coming with the clouds of heaven, otherwise should we say Jesus lied? God forbid.

3. No one is going to hear or see any trumpets or vials, they are simply put there as markers of time for your understanding.

I think if we look closely at was offered.

Luke 17: 20When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs. 21Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”c

People who know not God will not care what Christ said they will ‘Look, there He is,’ or ‘Here He is.’

The law that states the kingdom will not come with observable signs does come with hidden signs as parables or patterns .So then is what kind of signs. The kingdom of God in respect to the treasure of God is in us. Why walk by sight as if God who has no beginning or end was a man as us? He is not a man as us.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

The excellency of the power does not come by observation .The veil is rent the temples wall fell.

He informs us they who were a part of the outward demonstration will long for the Son of man but will not see it with the human eye we walk by faith . People will tell us, ‘Look, there He is,’ or ‘Here He is.’ we are to believe not. God is not a man as us

What we get from the rest of scriptures is the sun and moon going dark, Jesus returning with ALL EYES seeing Him, the trumpets vials and seals etc.
Yes all eyes of the heart will see Him at the sound of the last trump in that same twinkling of the eye, His bride will come down as a new creation . She because she is clothed in the glory of her husband we will have no need of the Sun and the moon the time keepers .

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation 22:22-27

It still does not say they healed people, spoke in tongues or raised people from the dead,

Matt 7:22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’

They are asking a question, "..did we not do ....". This is very clear that they are pointing back to what they did in their defense and not just claiming for the sake of lying.

And many many times it is confirmed by Jesus and the apostles:

Matt 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible. 25See, I have told you in advance.

These men are not just deceiving others, they themselves are deceived.

2 Tim 3:13 while evil men and imposters go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
