A friend of mine just told me that he has been praying for Satan that God would love him and have mercy on this enemy just as Jesus said he should. 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Matt 5:43&44
I agree with those who think this is naïve. Your heart may be in the right place, because we were told to "love our enemies," and to be consistent in love whether among friends or enemies.

But even God, in His impartial love for all, is intolerant of sin, when it is in full-scale rebellion. And Satan is in full-scale rebellion against God, and does not receive any sympathy for his wrong choice.

For some reason God allows Satan space to commit his sins and to be judged for them. It is a process known by God, and there are victims along the way. But God brings compensation for victims and justice in the end. Those who hold up in righteousness through these troubles will be rewarded.

Adam's body was made from the dust of the ground.

For them to have received a glorified body, they would have
had to have eaten from the Tree of Life, which they did not.
REALLY?
So you are saying that immediately after they were created and immediately after Eve was created and before even eating breakfast THEY SINNED and didn’t eat from the tree of life?
How do you arrive at this conclusion after reading the Bible when we see that considerable large amount of time has passed from the moment that they were created into the moment they sinned?

the word of God says they ate for the tree of Knowledge of Good and evil. Gen 2

6 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

This sounds good in theory but in practice we have people interpret the Bible in contradicting ways. The Bible is meant to be read and interpreted by us, and not stand alone in the sky out of reach.
Are we the interpreters of Scripture???

We do read Scripture, some of it is plain as day but most of Scripture our grasp can only reach far before we need a Helper.

Genesis 2;5 says that Adam was created from dust.
‘Then it says that God put Adam in Eden along with the trees and along with animals.
Than God gave him his only command.
Then God created Eve.
Than later in the story they sinned.

So all of this took 5 minutes? He and Her NEVER ate from the Tree of Life?

Yes this is another huge problem when we say that the Bible is the word of God when we depend on interpreters to translate the Bible in 100 different languages. This is another long topic.

The Father the Word and the Holy Spirit knew the weakness of man concerning this and therefore came up with an Unstoppable Plan.

Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Yes as far as the topic of this title goes I’m in agreement with all here who say that There is no hope for Satan and should not pray for him. I’ve mentioned that too in previous posts.

You are correct in my language misuse of “Ot is full of violence” because what I’m trying to say is that the overall message of Jesus is that of peace not violence which can contradict verses from the OT. I’m mentioning David as an example.
What you do not seem to acknowledge, is that God Himself directed the Israelites to kill every single person and even the animals of those living in the land God directed them to dwell in.

You might also consider the OT prophets who decried the false prophecies of peace when there was no peace.

There is no peace in the world today. We are not living in the kingdom and I cannot disagree more with anyone who believes it is ok to be a pacifist and allow all kinds of evil to prevail. We are in a battle right now. It is basically a spiritual battle of such intensity that it has spilled over into the physical world.

It has always been that way. David praised God for his victories over the enemy and while it is true God told him he had too much blood on his hands to build a Temple, it is also true that God made him king through violence and the overthrow of Saul and his family.

These are not contradictions. A believer in Christ should understand who the enemy is and there are many that have chosen the wrong side.

Ok so we disagree here because what I get out of Jesus is humility, service and love and you may get a different message from Jesus. This is why these are contradictions to me.
But I have resolved these contradictions by accepting that the Bible is written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit. So it’s prone to some human issues.

Is there a small possibility you might actually address my post instead of saying something unrelated ?

Who is Jesus? Doesn't the Bible tell us that He was always present? Do you think Jesus disagreed with God's instructions all through the OT? Do you think Jesus might not show up to fulfill the book of Revelation?

There are not contradictions. The actual problem you seem to be having, is that YOUR idea of Jesus is NOT the biblical presentation of Jesus, therefore, you refuse to see Jesus in agreement with the Father and seem to believe that Jesus is separate somehow and yet Jesus says that if we have seen Him (we see Him through scripture now and the revelation and instruction of the Holy Spirit) we have seen the Father.

That means that Jesus is in AGREEMENT with all the things God the Father has instructed. Yes, all the battles, all the wars and the killing and the fact that people will forever be separated from Him if they do not accept His Son. NONE of that is peaceful. We have had peace whenever evil has been defeated in battle and yet it always rises up again and will until God says 'THAT'S ENOUGH'

But I have resolved these contradictions by accepting that the Bible is written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit. So it’s prone to some human issues.
Uh huh. And which parts of the Bible have you decided to ignore exactly? I guess you cannot discern that if you are deciding which is and which is not of God, then it means you are suffering from the same human failure that you attribute to the authors of scripture.

I once thought as you did as I didn't look deep enough. This statement of John's could actually support the fact that God's loving kindness, His mercy and forgiveness and grace etc. has found a way to extend to even these 3 in time.
“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:

but the righteous into life eternal.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:41, 46‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:7-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Basically what we are discussing here is the interpretation of one church, the east Orthodox Church, which I’m a member of, which focuses on Jesus not as a military leader but as a person of love, forgiveness and humility and we are to emulate him in this manner.
So we will be discussing schisms basically which isn’t a very fruitful debate.
Also this view, which is also my view doesn’t say that the Bible fell from the sky. This view has also other things you may consider controversial such as praying for the dead, honoring saints and angels, honoring mother Mary and the fact that icons exist at the church.
All of this has produced schisms.

Oh yeah I also forgot to mention the topic of salvation which is another wonderful topic of many interpretations.

Well, I am gratified you used the word 'interpretation'. Sorry, but you are the one discussing those views that you seem quite convinced of and not myself and not others if I understand what their responses to you were.

I shall not be convinced of unbiblical dogma but you go ahead.

Dogma: Dogma is a belief or set of beliefs that is accepted by the members of a group without being questioned or doubted.

Isn't the schism that's happening now just a result of the "special military operation" that's going on over there? Or did one side also have an ideological change as well?

Yes the head of the Russian church priest is not a priest but a politician. Many churches in the east sent him letters not to endorse the war but he did it anyway.
That man is not doing the work of God and is an example of a Pharisee. So he was condemned by the rest of the churches in the East but maybe in his mind he’s interpreting the Bible or the teachings of Jesus as more “war-like’ so in his mind he’s convinced that he’s doing the right thing.
God will judge us all one day.

Spoken like a true witch or a tare among the wheat.
Always perverting the truth and the word of God.
To pray for the devil is to help the monster and his work against both God and man.
