Luke 4:17-21, “And the scroll of the prophet Yeshayahu was handed to Him. And having unrolled the scroll, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of יהוה is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to bring the Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away crushed ones with a release, to proclaim the acceptable year of יהוה.” (Isa 61:1-3) And having rolled up the scroll, He gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the congregation were fixed upon Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been filled in your hearing.”

why did He stop reading when He did?

Fulfilled already - To be fulfilled in the future

Isaiah 61:1-11, "61:1, “The Spirit of the Master יהוה is upon Me, because יהוה has anointed Me to bring good news to the meek. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound,"61:2, "to proclaim the acceptable year of יהוה, and the day of vengeance of our Mighty One (Isaiah 13:9-13), to comfort all who mourn,"61:3, "to appoint unto those who mourn in Tsiyon: to give them embellishment for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. And they shall be called trees of righteousness, a planting of יהוה, to be adorned."61:4, "And they shall rebuild the old ruins, raise up the former wastes. And they shall restore the ruined cities, the wastes of many generations."61:5, "And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the foreigner be your plowmen and your vine dressers."61:6, "But you shall be called, ‘Priests of יהוה, (Isaiah 66:21-22)’ ‘Servants of our Mighty One’ shall be said of you. You shall consume the strength of the nations, and boast in their esteem."61:7, "Instead of your shame and reproach, they rejoice a second time in their portion. Therefore they take possession a second time in their land, everlasting joy is theirs (Rev 21:3-4)."61:8, "“For I, יהוה, love right-ruling; I hate robbery for ascending offering. And I shall give their reward in truth, and make an everlasting covenant with them."61:9, "“And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring in the midst of the peoples. All who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed יהוה has blessed.”"61:10, "I greatly rejoice in יהוה, my being exults in my Mighty One. For He has put garments of deliverance on me, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels."61:11, "For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the seed to shoot up, so the Master יהוה causes righteousness and praise to shoot up before all the nations!”

1 John 4:19, “We love Him because He first loved us.”

1 John 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yah, when we love Yah and guard His commands. For this is the love for Yah, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy."

Exodus 20:6, “But showing love to thousands who love Me by keeping My Laws.”

John/Yahanan 14:15, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

Yahshua still has a second coming, all is not yet fulfilled from the OT, Im not sure you even understand the "pattern" or the "shadow pictures" Paul speaks of...

Fulfilled already - John 19:30, “It is done!”

1. Passover/First-fruits – Yahshua's Sacrifice as the true Passover Lamb (Passover). Yahshua's burial, resurrection and ascension to present Himself as the first of the first fruits to YHWH (First Fruits).

2. Feast of Unleavened Bread – Removal of sin by Yahshua's perfect work as the Passover Sacrifice thus inspiring self reflection and repentance.

3. Feast of Weeks – The blessing and baptizing by Holy Spirit of YHWH, coming into the lives of YHWH’s people stronger than ever.

To be fulfilled in the future - Revelation 21:6, “It is done!”

4. Feast of Trumpets – Yahshua returns at the 7th trumpet of Revelation and gathers the Saints unto eternal life.

5. Day of Atonement – Yahshua leads the army of YHWH to destroy evil rulers of this world as recompense and the adversary is chained for 1,000 years.

6. Feast of Tabernacles – Yahshua dwells on earth for 1,000 years teaching truth and righteousness from the Kingdom of YHWH on earth.

7. The Last Great Day – The adversary is loosed from captivity and swiftly destroyed, the Kingdom of YHWH, YHWH Shammah reigns forever! “It is done!”

And I don't care what they say, no one can really love anyone that they do not trust.
yeah we have to trust Jesus like we are beginning anew as little children coming to learn from thier father we need to trust him like a young child trusts his fether who is leading and teaching and guiding him in good paths

i would say you can love someone you don’t trust but you can’t trust them . My little cousin got into drugs real bad years ago he was about 18 maybe at the time and he started stealing from his parents and his other family

We all loved him very much Many tried to give him a home and get him clean and give him a life to start living a new beginning a home and family but he chose the drugs time after time people loved him but it was inspire of the fact they came to understand he couldn’t be trusted because he kept stealing thier stuff and lying about it

It wasn’t the lack of their love for the one who could t be trusted but the lack of his return of the love they gave him they still love him but have t seen or heard from him in a few years now he disappears and reappears from time to time when he’s down and out …

they still accept him home and try to talk him into staying many parts of my family has . The saddest thing in the world I’ve seen on a philosophical level in this world is true love for someone who doesn’t understand it’s value or that for love to be complete it is required that it is reciprocated one to another freely

love heals but if it only goes one way it loses it’s healing power in time

I'd qualify the family's sentiment toward him as trusting that he would steal from them, and thereby trusting him rightly. iykwim.

Funny because you had time to type out a huge post that took me multiple posts to properly reply to,

but never time discuss my side of the discussion, you just do this, end the discussion. A one sided discussion is not truly a discussion. No worries Im kind of used to it.

Well no they tried to give him the benefit of the doubt many times that’s why he was able to keep stealing they were offering him the chance to be trustworthy because they lived him they offered to keep him free of charge and let him get a job and get going in life but the thing is they still would and try to do that they still hope he weee the light and still have open arms

thats love you know ? A fathers wayward son is always his son but he’s free to choose as well love of God or the world

“For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬
You left out the next verse, verse 16 without verse 17 fits your doctrine, verse 17 disproves it.

ESV Luke 16:16-17,16 “The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and everyone forces his way into it. 17 But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void."

I was speaking in terms of claiming to love the Good Father while presenting Him in the same character as the bad father as if "Father will disown you if you steal." Your example shows that the wayward son trusts his family to take him back even after he'd stolen from them so, unless he believes that he got away with it without anyone actually knowing or finding out about it, I say that he does love you for that, even if he might love his idol more. Likewise, the law is an idol to many people in many ways, if it is trusted as more sufficient than God's grace to save.

were going in a circle and it’s not fruitful for anyone and now your headed towards bickering we’ve exhausted the topic and what we both think brother no harm no foul you should t be offended you said what you said I said what I said now I don’t have any desire to keep repeating myself and reading your repetetive posts were both out of material lol that’s all I’m saying if you want to know what I think and know and what I would reply to you go back through all the posts I wrote that’s all I know and believe okay ? Could be right or wrong God knows I’m just another feller on an internet talking about what I think when I read the Bible ….::I don’t care and am not interested in winning or losing arguments I’m only here to hear and speak about the scripture with others who do that I’ve spent a good deal reading through what you believe agree with the foundation of Jesus and his words completely disagree with a lot of other things but who cares if I agree it doesnt mean your wrong …….

anyways thanks and I hope to talk again about another subject that I have some thought to add that I haven’t already said seven times in a discussion

Amy point isnjist that we’ve exhausted what we can say to one another pertaining to this at least I have everything I think about it is in the thread no offense intended it’s spiritually exhausting to fgo in those circles for me

There are also people who will accuse those who love His ways because He has used His Spirit to write them on their heart: and there are those who will call them a curse,

Hebrews 10:16, “This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says יהוה, giving My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them.”

Isaiah 51:7, “Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, a people in whose heart is My Torah (Instructions/Law): do not fear the reproach of men, nor be afraid of their reviling.”

Psalms 119:10-12,10 I have sought You with all my heart; Let me not stray from Your commands! 11 I have treasured up Your word in my heart, That I might not sin against You. 12 Blessed are You, O יהוה! Teach me Your laws.

Thats fine, but I just tried to explain, you cant ignore everthing the other person says and expect them to see things your way, you would have to reply and discuss what they say also.... That is why I TRY to take my time and discuss each point and why I do or do not agree

Ugh naw I’ve already show. That too you can’t hear the New Testament so now your insisting I’ve created a doctrine here I’ll show you again and you can re explain it again Jesus said this when he was with them

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Then he explains what he meant after he rose

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:44‬ ‭KJV‬‬

you can’t hear that it’s what is written about Jesus prophetically in the law that’s what had to be fulfilled and the law couldn’t change until it was fulfilled

you read it like he’s saying “ the law will never change until the earth is done “

But he’s saying “ I came to fulfill the law and prophets nothing can change not a single word until all is fulfilled that’s written about me in the law and prophets “

a then he explained it after he rose up ….

You’re to the point now where you don’t understand what I’m saying and I can see that so there’s no fruit let it go now brother ……

A fool that can admit he is a fool is wise.-
And I am sure that greater men have already made this observation.
Yes but a fool who knows he’s a fool is just being honest when he says he’s a fool

and how much wood could a woodchuck actually chuck ? Do you know ? Been trying to solve that mystery for an age

“And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:44‬ ‭KJV‬‬

But he’s saying “ I came to fulfill the law and prophets nothing can change not a single word until all is fulfilled that’s written about me in the law and prophets “

a then he explained it after he rose up ….

You’re to the point now where you don’t understand what I’m saying and I can see that so there’s no fruit let it go now brother ……
again you ignore part of the text. I highlighted it in red for you " Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law"

You’re to the point now where you don’t understand what I’m saying and I can see that so there’s no fruit let it go now brother ……
That did not happen yet

Revelation 21:1-2, “And I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. And I, Yoḥanan, saw the set-apart city, renewed Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Yah, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

let it go now brother ……
You brought it up then command me to let it go, come on, you cant talk at someone then say they can not reply.

I'm still trying to find the peck of pickled peppers that Peter Piper pickled.
