If they were saved then Jer 32:40 applies

40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
But they were departing (Gal 1:6), thus invalidating your interpretation of that verse.

Already shared it:

Galatians 3
1O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
3Are you so foolish? After starting in the Spirit, are you now finishing in the flesh? 4Have you suffered so much for nothing, if it really was for nothing?

In other words, Paul already preached the Gospel to them, and they believed. We know they believed, because they received the Spirit. Christ only supplies His Spirit when we abide in Him--and we abide in Him by keeping His commands, which is the command to believe in the Name of God's Son and love one another. They were, afterward, told, however, "Yes, but you must serve by the Law of Moses, or else you're not accepted by God"--but the Law of Moses contains certain terms and conditions whereby it deals a curse on people who try to follow it, so they were coming under that curse and were not receiving the blessing of Abraham, which is the Spirit or the eternal life given to those who follow Christ.
Paul definitely preached. Where does it say they believed?

Keep reading my reply, because that question is answered in the reply.
I know you believe they did. That's why I'm asking. Paul is asking a series of questions. I don't see a definitive statement. So could you explain to me exactly what it is that Paul writes that establishes that they are saved?
Are you suggesting they are saved by the law?

Impossible for a saved person to depart Jer 32:40
40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

Yes, you've quoted that verse; what we've discovered, by looking at Scripture, is that your particular interpretation of those words is what is in question (not the words themselves).

He is not asking whether they received the Spirit, he's asking "How did you receive the Spirit?" Then, he answers, "If you began by the Spirit, how are you now being perfected by the flesh (being under the Law of Moses)?" He knows they believed and received the Spirit.
Additionally, he, later, says "You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?" So, again, he asserts they had "obeyed the truth", and this qualified as "running"--he, many times, describes "faith" as a "race". They were running the race of faith, but some false teachers came in and derailed them.
We know they obeyed the truth. Romans 1:5 says "obedience of faith", and Ro 3:27 says "Law of Faith", which, when "obeyed", is "believing".
So, there is no question they had believed.

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree, based on the Scripture : the Christian who "sins" is "condemned".
Nobody Christ died for is ever condemned by God, God doesnt even impute sin to them Rom 4:7-8

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Yep, that is the righteousness of faith--receiving salvation by God's mercy.
Still, after being saved, baptized, and eating communion, Paul says, the Jews sinned and fell under God's wrath and forfeited the promise God had made to them. Paul says the same could happen to him (and to us)--and, therefore, he controlled his body, made it his slave. This is the same teaching as he gives in Ro 8:12,13, that if you live after the flesh you will die and not live.

It has to do with Christs death, nobody Christ died for will have sin imputed to them.

Again, for the reason I furnished, we disagree.
I understand that.
You, apparently, have a habit of believing slivers of Scripture, here and there, but my aim is to believe all of Scripture.
That's where we differ.
I can't make you change. I share the truth for whoever wants to hear it.
