How is Scripture a counterpoint? I'm using it to point out that you are 'translating' scripture with your OSAS lens, vs letting the scripture speak for itself--Ad Hominem is an attack on a person vs attacking an idea. Just because a majority believes something, doesn't make it so--millions died in the flood--only 8 were saved.
Your transmitting your scripture through a NOSAS anti calvinist lens

How about instead of telling people what they believe. YOU LISTEN TO THEM??

You can call it whatever you like, but God demands faith in His Son!

If that condition is not met, there will be no salvation!
Your right.

True faith works, And true faith endures.

God is faithfull and he is true. No one who truly had faith in God would ever stop believing in him

We may lose faith in different areas. But we will never stop believing.

You’re trying to categorize me and peg me with a particular ideology and or group(i.e. the OSAS camp) That’s inaccurate. You seem to be pushing a “I’m right and your wrong” narrative and somewhat combative about it.
be careful she will blame shift.. And blame you

Using those words does not make one a scholar nor correct. Why are you so hostile?
Be careful, they will put you on ignore because you do not agree with them.

Once Saved Always Saved has its roots in Calvinism
/
And here is her problem

to her it is all anti calvinism. So she can;t hear a word you say, Like what she did to me last night and this morning. Then when she is called out for it. They attack you and say your the one with the issue.

then they ignore you.

Well. God sees what is going on. You can deny all you want. You keep proving those who have addressed this issue before right.

If you search Youtube you will find many former Christians, even Pastors who have left the faith and say they NO LONGER BELIEVE. I know people personally who were Christians and now no longer believe.

They were never of us, for if they were of us, they never would have left. But they left to prove they were never of us.

A dog returns to his vomit. Why? Because they are STILL a dog. They were not born again and made into a new creature.

Not everyone who comes to a church is saved, There are many people deacons and yes every pastors who went into it for false pretenses. They never experienced Gods true love because they were never born again.

The end result. Is they left. PROVING they were never of us

But you did choose to respond.

In all the the forums people participate freely, even to posts not directed to them--I'm sorry if you feel I shouldn't have and will take note of that in the future.

Scripture should be tested against Scripture--isolation of verses always leads to fanaticism and false doctrine. It clearly says a believer can fall away in Hebrews. Jesus said if you don't abide in him you will be like the branches that are cast into the fired and destroyed--abiding comes after Salvation--we can only abide in something we already have.

Also, you ask who John is addressing--in Revelation? If not, please post the scripture you referring to. Scripture as a whole is addressed to believers, since otherwise "it is nonsense to those who are perishing."
Yeah its a free forum.

Unless a person disagrees with you. Then how dare they.

Nasty? Jesus, Paul, and others called out false teachers and we should do likewise. And I hope they are listening in!

"“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves."--Matthew 7:15
So is that how we should respond to you?

Peter was not written to the Body of Christ. Only Paul's epistles are written to saved members of the body of Christ.
They were Kingdom Gospel Saints. Anything outside of Paul's writings are not for saved believers today.
Where do you get this idea from?

But we can't look on the heart of mankind.

Don't you think the church should be rich? Will this society willing to look up to a beggar preaching the gospel? Think about it. Maybe it's God's arrangement.

What I said may not be right.
God never promised health or wealth Physically

He promissed joy no matter what our circumstances.

In what way am I false teacher? Because I don't agree with your stance? Or rather you also support Joel Osteen, and Benny Hinn, Tod White, etc too? I guess you're not aware, but most bible believing Christians think they are all charlatans and making a prophet off the gospel.

Many have gone back to sins they were once freed from. They claim that they still believe. But that is only when you corner them and ask them. They don't give anyone any indication that they are believers and they are in bondage to the sins they were once freed from.

There are many who were genuinely living a born again life, for many years and there is no way they could have lived the sanctified life and known the truths that they once espoused without that born again experience that they testified too. But as the decades rolled by they went through a divorce or something and started drinking and withdrew from church and started doing the things they used to do before they got saved. Now they visit the bars every night and hang around with sinners and pretend to be just like them.

This is real. Not a made up scenario. And the question that must be answered is "are they going to heaven because of their past experience even though they have backslidden?" Is their confession that they still believe enough to excuse their decadence and drunkeness? Of course not. We would tell them to repent before it is too late. But to tell them that they never were born again in the first place would be a desperate effort to make a false doctrine make sense to oneself. Don't you think?

Most bible believing Christians have probably never heard of them.

What I said may not be right.

The persecuted faithful
…37They were stoned, they were sawed in two, they were put to death by the sword. They went around in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, oppressed, and mistreated. 38The world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and hid in caves and holes in the ground. 39These were all commended for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised.…"

Paul's sufferings
"But whatever they dare to boast about—I’m talking like a fool again—I dare to boast about it, too. 22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I. 23 Are they servants of Christ? I know I sound like a madman, but I have served him far more! I have worked harder, been put in prison more often, been whipped times without number, and faced death again and again. 24 Five different times the Jewish leaders gave me thirty-nine lashes. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. Once I spent a whole night and a day adrift at sea. 26 I have traveled on many long journeys. I have faced danger from rivers and from robbers. I have faced danger from my own people, the Jews, as well as from the Gentiles. I have faced danger in the cities, in the deserts, and on the seas. And I have faced danger from men who claim to be believers but are not.[a] 27 I have worked hard and long, enduring many sleepless nights. I have been hungry and thirsty and have often gone without food. I have shivered in the cold, without enough clothing to keep me warm."--2 Cornithians 11:21-37

Christ's poverty
"And Jesus said unto him, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man hath nowhere to lay His head.”"--Matthew 8:20

I have watched his services--he preaches the health and wealth prosperity gospel--he does not preach THE gospel.

Osteen is estimated to have a net worth of over $50 million, with his church taking in $43 million a year in collections.

"Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God."--2 Corinthians 2:17

"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!"--Galatians 1:8

Here Victoria Osteen saying, "When we obey God, we're not doing it for Him, we're doing it for ourselves."..."And that is what makes God happy, when we're happy." --- Blasphemy!

You watched his services?
The Lakewood church which is generally 2 hours long?
His sermons are 25 minutes long max.
What did you think of the rest of the service?

I like how you put it, "making a prophet off the gospel".

You must be heavily burdened living with persecution, Paul's sufferngs, and Christ's poverty.
Can you share some of your persecutions?
Your good works serving Paul and his suffering, it must be a heavy burden.
And do you suffer as Christ suffers?
Can you elaborate or do you just talk about it?
