Wait, wait, wait, wait. Now there is something to be said about 'nothing' as far as nothing goes.
Athiests, you see, place a lot of stock in 'nothing.'
'Nothing' is the whole meaning of their lives and the whole scheme of things.
They believe that 'nothing' is paramount and nothing should ever get in the way of their fact that nothing is the beginning and end of all that there is, which to them is their religion, sacrosanct, as it were, 'the debate is over'!
Their creed, if you will, their doctrine, there docology, their untarnished, undiminished stellar faith in the idea that an existing creator is laughable, dumb, and IMPOSSBLE! Yea. To them, the existance of God is impossible.
But then their pot stained peculiar cranial function deduces to the idea that all that exists in the universe, all the intricacies down to the very nucleus of the atom that makes up all the millions of galaxies, came into being with nary a thought from an intelligent designer.
To them 'God' is impossible. But to them 'NOTHING, working with nothing, for nothing, by nothing, through nothing, created everything!' To them, that IS what's possible ....for here we are!
These people relish in the nothingness doctrine, their rapture and joy is that all the universe was conceived by an apparent 'nothing'. So I submit that 'nothing' must be the parent of all things, and a child is a likeness of the parent, which is 'nothing', so the child is nothing. The whole universe is by virtue of its 'nothing' parent, is nothing also. The nut doesn't fall far from the tree. So these nuts, I mean folks, must be 'nothing' as well. Not being mean, it's just that MY cranium is in dire need of an ibuprofen.
Am I making any kind of sense here? Just trying to pull back the onion layers on the skulls of the 'nothing' people.
'Nothing' is the title of the thread. So now you can see how important 'nothing' is to many. So quit being a 'Nothingphobe'! Have some sensitivity.
