With regards to red X's and such ... it seems the reaction is not based on the content of the post..... but it seems that someone here lately gives that reaction based on who made the post, regardless of the content.
Reminds me of Matthew 13:24-30

A slew of red Xs such as we are seeing now is more indicative of someone being upset, maybe even trying to upset others, than it would be cause for any of us receiving them to be upset about getting them. Perhaps we could agree to pray for any who are upset, and that balance be restored to their hearts, minds, and souls.

This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it :)

Completely and utterly disagree with this “assumption “...

Man the Trolls are out and about. Me thinks they are trying to steer this thread to be closed for good. If that were to happen, where would they go then to spread their dislike.
To the next thread that proclaims the fullness of Jesus Christ’s saving grace.

I don't think red Xs will get a thread closed ;)

I have witnessed people having a melt-down before. There is a predictable trajectory involved...

The sad thing is they rarely realize their own part in it :(

It's always somebody else's fault :geek:

Is there any particular Scripture verse you would like to see on one of my panels, Star?
And that’s exactly what it is, a melt-down. I’d offer prayer for the melt-downed but it will just be red x’d. Think I’ll drink a beer instead.

If you knew me, you would know that I am wise enough to know>>>>>>>>>>>>>> that words can mean little but actions can speak louder than words.
I am getting to know you a little bit better every day. You cannot hide from the Oyster:alien:.

While I am on the topic of prayer, if any of you could please pray for me, I would appreciate it, regarding a couple of medical procedures I have in a couple of weeks, the results of which will determine the extent of surgery I will undergo in the next steps of my cancer treatment. I thank you in advance, and praise God for He is good! His love endures forever; I have been extraordinarily blessed to know it so well

I will be praying that God bring good medical treatment and His healing hand as you move forward in your treatments. :)

Thank you, EH :) I appreciate it. So far I have tolerated everything quite well: the five weeks of chemo and radiation went smoothly, ending just over a month ago, and my bodily functions have returned to normal. It was a little challenging at first to be asked to go out every day to have my immune system further compromised during a world pandemic  But I got over that quickly :) Surgery will hospitalize me for 5-10 days; I hope for minimum - and even no! - complications :D

And we know that we have the Mercy of God, the Grace of God, the Love of God forever and ever. Praise be to God for it all and glory be to His Name above all names.

I do not think it is the red x's either... it is the baiting.

In today's world, we must be focused on the Grace of God, the Mercy of God and the Love of God He has given to us through His Son whom we have eternal life through the Gift of God.

How can we help those who do not want our help? How can we share the Good News that we do not have to "work" for the Love of God and how do we show the "work" is all done by the Lord Himself.
