I have undone the Red Cross...

Someone who does not love the truth.....but doesn’t the truth have to be found ?

Satan blinds us from the truth doesn’t he?

Like when we are in darkness?

Everyone should seek the truth?
But not everyone knows what the truth is.
Yes before we are born again we are blinded from the truth and the blinders are removed when we are born again.

Everyone should seek the truth and yes not everyone knows knows the truth.

Some hear the truth and they suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

In Romans 1:18 Paul writes "The wrath of God is against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness."

When God's righteousness is revealed to us, but we refuse to receive it, we suppress truth.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have
one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet he did not sin.
Hebrews 4:15
This popular verse used is often misinterpreted

This verse is not trying to teach us that, because He conquered temptation we can also. How could such a parallel exist? He had no sin nature. We do. He never sinned. We do. Our sin nature offers the tempter an inward point of temptation. This was missing in Jesus.

Hebrews 4:15 does not say that Jesus was tempted so that He could be our example, but so that He could sympathize with us. He was human. He got tired. He was hungry.

In this sense His temptations were real and in this sense He can understand when we, too, become weary. But this is vastly different from saying Jesus Christ could have sinned.

So Jesus can relate to our human suffering can’t he?
As he came as flesh?
Yes, but he did not have the sin nature that all of us inherited from Adam, as in Romans 5:12

It is that sin nature that makes temptation works against us. So if Jesus had that same sin nature, i.e, if he could have chose to sin, he would not have been qualified to be the perfect sacrifice on the cross.

At the cross, he took our sin nature, and gave us his divine nature. (Romans 5:12-19).

When we believe in what he done on the cross, in our spirit, we are now just like Christ was during his earthly ministry. Our body still has that sin nature though.

When we finally receive our redeemed body at the rapture, as Christ had after he resurrected, we will no longer have that sin nature even in that body. Thus it would also be impossible for us to sin.

It certainly teaches to overcome as he has.

In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).

For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world (1 John 5:4).

Combined with mortifying the deeds of the body (Romans 8:14; Colossians 3:5) and a believer can be tempted as well, yet without sin.

As I have said, your body still have that sin nature, it is that nature that caused the law to work against you, the strength of sin is the law.

Paul experienced it and he described the struggle clearly in the latter half of Romans 7. If even he could not accomplish it, none of us would be able to.

So...we inherited that sinful nature from Adam and Eve..so our sinful nature was the law was it?

Then God set us free from that law of sin?

So...if they commit adultery ,they haven’t sinned as a born again,right?..because they have been cleansed of sin?

Romans 7 is not a commentary by Paul on his inability to not sin.

Romans 7 is a detailed account describing the struggles of a man in the flesh. He starts out with saying (7:5) "when we were in the flesh..." And in Romans 8:9 he plainly says, But you are not in the flesh.

Romans 8 tells of the believer in the Spirit who does not face the struggles of the man in the flesh.

You, like so many Christians, grossly misinterpret Romans 7.

No, the law is spiritual and good. (Romans 7:12)

But the problem is our inherited sin nature we got from Adam, that nature is stirred by the law to sin. (Romans 7:8)

The only way we can be redeemed from that sinful nature is thru the divine exchange that Christ provided for at the cross.

All these are part of the mysteries that the ascended Christ revealed to Paul. He wrote that all in Romans, the magnum opus of the gospel of grace. :)

I think you don't see yourself as a trinity: that you are also a spirit, you possess a soul, and you live in a body.

That is why you have a different interpretation of Romans 7.
