Meeeeeee , I have , yes I have...
I believe in God and His promises , I believe I am SAVED , not will be saved , for God has already spoken and said
By grace you have been SAVED \:love:/...
Amen! Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace you have been (past tense, with ongoing present results) saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

1 John 5:11 - And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Unbelievers have no assurance of salvation because they believe eternal life is a reward (instead of a gift - Romans 6:23) that will be received based on the merits of one's performance/good works (based on the misinterpretation of a few passages of scripture) and are completely oblivious to the fact that faith is accounted for/credited as righteousness and God imputes righteousness APART FROM WORKS. (Romans 4:5-6)

Unbelievers continuously confuse "descriptive" passages of scripture with "prescriptive" passages of scripture. :cautious:

2 Pet 1:
3His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His owna glory and excellence. 4Through these He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

5For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue, knowledge; 6and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8For if you possess these qualities and continue to grow in them, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9But whoever lacks these traits is nearsighted to the point of blindness, having forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.

10Therefore, brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you practice these things you will never stumble, 11and you will receive a lavish reception into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Yes, forgiven from your past sins but if stumble, you stumble.

Heb 5: 9And having been made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.

This is what it means to be deemed righteous, not the one you have been taught.
DESCRIPTIVE OF BELIEVERS. Only BELIEVERS obey Him unto salvation (obey the gospel by choosing to believe the gospel) and after salvation.

You actually watched portions of his videos? I’d rather look at Medusa.
I feel a sense of conviction for the above post and shouldn’t have posted it. I apologize. That said, I stand firm against watching videos from someone so self righteous.

You’re preaching works salvation where it does not exist. Obeying means loving God and loving neighbor with a faithful heart.

By cultivating the qualities listed in 2 Peter 1:5-7, Christians can be sure that God has called them and elected them. These fruits will confirm it. Make sure you have been called and elected - bébaios (an adjective, derived from bainō, "to walk where it is solid") – properly, solid (sure) enough to walk on; hence, firm, unshakable; (figuratively) absolutely dependable, giving guaranteed support (security, surety). To practice these qualities gives evidence of salvation, though they are not the basis (or cause) of salvation. They are the effect. Cause of being in Christ (FAITH) effect of being in Christ (FRUIT).

For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (verse 8). For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins (verse 9). What is the object of the forgetting? Is this forgetting temporary because this believer had fallen into error or does this lack of fruit exist because this person’s "cleansing" was merely an external reformation that did not come from a truly changed heart?

The genuineness of their profession is demonstrated as believers express these virtues. These fruits confirm their divine source. 10 Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. *Proverbs 24:16, we read - For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.

*I find it interesting that the term "fall away" or "stumble" was used by the Lord Jesus of His 11 disciples at the time of His arrest. The disciples deserted Jesus as was predicted and Peter obviously denied Jesus three times. They were said to "fall away." Matthew 26:31 - Then Jesus said to them, "You will all fall away because of Me this night, for it is written, 'I WILL STRIKE DOWN THE SHEPHERD, AND THE SHEEP OF THE FLOCK SHALL BE SCATTERED.' 32 "But after I have been raised, I will go ahead of you to Galilee." 33 But Peter said to Him, "Even though all may fall awaybecause of You, I will never fall away." *Obviously, this was not a loss of salvation. ;)

On the contrary, the plethora of verses you shared do not cancel out the one I shared. You see how two or more can play your game? Good. Now embrace God’s grace.
Amen....Lemonade stand can post the entire bible out of context and it will not cancel out the absolute truth of the verse you quoted.....

When i say no eternal security, i mean it.

Rom 2:
5But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6God “will repay each one according to his deeds.”a 7To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. 8But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow wickedness, there will be wrath and anger.

9There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil, first for the Jew, then for the Greek; 10but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, first for the Jew, then for the Greek. 11For God does not show favoritism.

12All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the law who will be declared righteous.

It is not wise for one to declare themselves righteous and claim eternal security from misunderstood verses.
I know you mean it.....and when I say you do not know what you are talking about and or are biblically inept....I mean it!!

The question should be, who on CC has already judged themselves as having eternal life, from the beginning?
God has.....saved from before the foundation of the earth was laid down.....yes we know you don't grasp this truth.....amongst many I might add!

Answer my question since you’re clearly accusing CC members of partaking in evil.

As for your question, Jesus Christ deems us righteous for having faith in Him.
He does not understand the imputed righteousness of Christ nor does he grasp the basic definition of eternal or everlasting as applied unto the LIFE a genuinely born again believer CURRENTLY AND ETERNALLY POSSESSES

Either Jesus is or He is not the Way, the Truth and the Life. When Jesus says He is the only way to the Father He is not merely stating that all other beliefs and religions are wrong, He also means that we ourselves cannot come to the Father by what we do.

When worker bees proclaim they are righteous because of their own works, what they are saying is that Jesus is not the Way, the Truth and the Life.
