The Holy Spirit is an "it"?
Rom 1:7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1Co 1:3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

2Co 1:2 Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Gal 1:3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

Eph 1:2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Php 1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Col 1:3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

1Th 1:1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2Th 1:2 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1Ti 1:2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

2Ti 1:2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

Tit 1:4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Phm 1:3 Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jas 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

1Pe 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

2Pe 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2Pe 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

1Jn 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

2Jn 1:3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Jud 1:1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

If the Holy Spirit is a personage, why did the writers of the New Testament epistles insult the Holy Spirit by refusing to acknowledge It?

If the Holy Spirit is a personage, why did the writers of the New Testament epistles insult the Holy Spirit by refusing to acknowledge It?

Because the Holy Spirit points to the Heavenly Father through Jesus.....and anyone who makes more to do about the Spirit than Jesus is not being led of the Spirit......!

No, because the Holy Spirit is not part of a trinity. It has not been given the personage of God the Father and Jesus Christ.

So where is the proof to this assertion?
And what about the Father. Is He one of the persons of God?
Even the Father is mentioned apart from God.

Eph 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Col 1:3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Jas 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Here we have even the Father being mentioned as someone other than God. So who is this God that Paul and James is talking about if it isn't the Father?
I would like to see scripture proving the Holy Spirit/Ghost is not one of the trinity that makes God, God.
Or is it only the lack of evidence that leads you to believe that the Holy Spirit is not part of the God head?
I have proof that says He is indeed God the Spirit, or rather the Spirit of God.

Not hardly John........and what I said was true......In the NAME of the Father, of the Son and OF THE SPIRIT.....you cannot separate the one from the other two......

Howbeit, when the Spirit of Truth is COME...HE will GUIDE you into all truth......HE is a personal pronoun and was inspired by God to be written........

Sorry, I don't debate the essentials of our Christian faith. By the deliberate, conscious rejection of any one or more of the essentials a person clearly places themselves outside of Christianity.

If we live outside of true Christianity - then we need to try to live by the Law of Moses and try to keep the 10 commandments and thus establish our own righteousness by what we do or do not do.

I will take the imputed righteousness of Jesus any day over my own ability to keep any law.........

And even then it is impossible to meet God's standards...Jesus said, "Except your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the Pharisee....."

Paul implied that outwardly he was above and beyond reproach when it came to adherence to the law....he also said that in Christ he counted those rudimentary thing of the world to be but dung.......the only thing that exceeds the righteousness of the law and adherence to the law is the righteousness of Christ being imputed by faith unto the believer......end of story...NO WORKS will ever allow man to meet God's standards.....

Yep as paul said he continued to run the race.

Unlike what some say, Gods children do not look at gods standard, and say I can;t make it, why bother they look at Gods love and his character, and day I want to be like him, so I will keep pushing forward. Because I KNOW IT IS IN MY BENEFIT.

The only time we think about not meeting Gods standard, is when we need slapped upside the face by the HS when we get self righteous. thinking we have attained,,

Because we need to return to reality. And God has no problem getting our attention.

You are so right. We cannot live Gods way, it is Christ in us living Gods way.

Our walk is to become one with Christ as Christ is one with the Father.
As long as we are trying to do something separate from the Lord, then we will
fail. But if we truly can find communion with Him, then we will walk His way.

And as Paul says, Gods standards are set for those who fail, not for those
who walk in the Spirit. We always need a paradigm shift to see His glorious
truth.

Why is it that things so easily spring up in our minds? It is not because we
are walking well but something else is making its way through our souls.
I do not understand eternity because we are not face to face with Christ,
but the closer we walk, and the closer our minds create views that scripture
lays out, the closer we are to the Way.

The following do not save, keep saved, facilitate salvation and when added to the faith of Christ for salvation will render a gospel of a different kind that has no power to save.........

a. works
b. baptism of any flavor
c. church membership
d. keeping religious sacraments
e. being circumcised (whacked)
f. giving money
g. speaking in tongues
h. being slain in the spirit (false)
I. jumping through religious hoops
j. prophetic utterances
k. drinking rat poison
l. keeping the 10 commandments
m. holding to any and all religious titles

etc....

The only thing that saves is faith into the work of Christ having had the blood applied by faith. It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe....When I see the blood I will pass over you!

I do admire dc.

Putting people of faith in their place, correcting the works salvationists about their faith and
how wrong they are, and how foolish they are trying to prove something to God that will fail.

He rebukes people for not listening, for not reading scripture, for being brain-washed.
Yet he is doing exactly this himself.

What staggard me was when I started actually using the same arguments the apostles
were using to answer the same problems. I then understood how they felt. A few words
missplaced, a few ideas taken away from the sentence, and the bible is disarmed.

Once we are not Gods Holy people walking in His ways, what is the point of repentance,
restoration or purity. They are just for legalist self justifiers, because these guys have arrived
at failure salvation, the true revelation, Christ saves because we stay failed so dependant,
and success is the magic wand when we die. Big shock when no magic wand appears, and
the power to transform through the Holy Spirit was never applied.

Bit of a bad place to be in. On the up side when you know love flowing in your heart and
transformation happening in your soul, Praise to the Lord, Jesus is working in you.

We can do nothing for the lost, they are as they are, we can only witness to our fellowship
with the King of Kings. So I encourage you brothers and sisters do not be discouraged,
for so it has been always, the good fruit will always prosper, and the rest will die away.

Works and ignoring or ignorance. Meaning. Explain this, a person stays at church all day and ignores their family, leaves them home alone, mom and children Is this justified before the Lord works all day on the Lords day? Just asking. It dosn't sound loving to me, just works.

FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD(james 2:17-26)

FAITH WITHOUT HOPE IS NOT FAITH(heb 11:1, rom 8:23-25)

FAITH WITHOUT LOVE IS NOTHING(1cor 13:2)

FAITH ALONE SAVES & ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED IS NOWHERE IN THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION(eph 1:13)

It's your word against the gospel and a true CHRISTIAN would choose the truth.

New International Version 1984 1 John 4:1-6 Test the Spirits Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

You should go study more and put your quotes in context instead of yanking them out of context to peddle a false gospel...serious....and it is painfully obvious that you cannot read, nor understand English.....

James speaks of our faith being seen by MEN based upon the fruit or works.....NOT THAT WORKS SAVE

WHO SAID anything about HOPE....and the HOPE that is spoken of in the bible is a CONFIDENT EXPECTATION OF SOMETHING GUARANTEED.....LIKE....BELIEVE=SAVED....wake up to the truth...HOPE is ALSO a GIFT....cannot work for a gift

Who said ANYTHING about LOVE.....WHICH IS A SPIRITUAL GIFT that CANNOT BE EARNED...it is GIVEN as a GIFT

SURE it is.....It pleased GOD by the foolishness of preaching to SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE...SHOW ME WORKS in that VERSE PAL.....and last time I CHECKED ETERNAL MEANS ETERNAL....how is it that you are so dense to this truth....

Your view makes God a liar, HE said that he gives ETERNAL life unto ALL that believe.....maybe you will be in that PLENTEOUS IN NUMBER GROUP that gets casts into the lake of fire because you believe your works have EARNED you the right to enter the kingdom.....go ahead and see how that "WORKS" out for you....
