What does "Judge not lest you be judged: for with the same judgment you judge you will be judged," mean to you? Dont anser me, Jesus is the one who said this, you dont have to defend yourself to me. Think of it as Jesus saying this? "A spiritual man judges all things but he himself is judged of no-one." No one has the hiden meaning of a name of God. "No one like Him," He is no longer in the flesh and never will be again. The salvation that you think you posess in the flesh, is not in the flesh. You only poses God as you walk in Love. If you dont walk in Love: your going to fall that you may learn to continually repent. God spoke this to me when i was a young christian: taking pride that i was hearing Him, thinking i wad better than others, not realising He was being the Father i never had; fulfilling His word, "He is a Fathwr to the Fatherless," "He is near the poor and broken hearted." I hapen to meet those qualifications but no longer when i took pride. He is no respecter of person. "If any man thinks je stands, let him take heed lest he fall."
The bible states clearly we can judge all things by the word....especially false dogmas that lead to hell

"If a man thinks himself to be religious but does not bridle his toungue but deceives his heart, this mans religion is worthless." "Without Love I am nothing."
Sometimes if we do not cry out the very rocks will....and bridling the tongue is not aimed at defending the truth against deceivers, liars and the peddlers of false dogmas...

By the way...I used my fingers to type and not my tongue!!

A true believer woudl never quit believing, God does not give them a reason to, I think it is dangerous to try to relate to God as if he is some human, who will fail us, and cause us to stop believing in him.. A true believer ex[eriences Gods love, and the more he steps out in faith, the more God proves his faithfulness.

If you believe you should follow Gods commands, do you also believe that if you fail in one part. You are guilty of the whole law (james?)

A baby trusts his father, he never stops trusting.. so even a baby believer who does not grow. Will always trust his father..
You know......two things stand out that get rejected and swept under the table by the salvation losers and or earner/maintainers

a. JESUS begins and FINISHES the work of faith he has begun in us.

b. IF we BECOME faithless he ABIDES FAITHFUL because HE cannot deny HIMSELF

These two verses tell me that JESUS will take us right through.......he maintains and he will LOSE NOTHING

I will add a third, that God has perfected forever those he is sanctifying

I am already perfect. (Justified) But I am also a work in progress.

The truth cuts and divides asunder.....workers for and salvation losers cannot deal with the word of God in context because when coupled with honesty and integrity it condemns their vanilla cinnamon arsenic laced deadly false dogma.......
"Do not speak against one another brethren, he who speaks against his brothrer or judges his brother, speaks contrary to the law and judges thr law; but if you judge the law you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it."

Stillness, You just quoted the single most FREQUENTLY misinterpreted verse in biblical history.

That verse DOES NOT ME WANT YOU THINK IT MEANS.

IT MEANS:

Do not PASS SENTENCE UPON, lest you have a Sentence Passed on YOU.

It is is legal term, where the JUDGES pass Sentence on a CONVICTED FELON.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR GOD GIVEN RESPONSIBILITY TO DISCERN RIGHT FROM WRONG.

To say YOU ARE GOING TO HELL, BECAUSE I SAW YOU SINNING. THAT IS JUDGING.

To say: YOU HAVE FALLEN FOR SOME FALSE TEACHING. THAT IS DISCERNMENT, something every genuine Mature BELIEVER,
is supposed to have.

Hebrews 4:12 (ESV)
12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Deuteronomy 1:13 (NASB)
13 'Choose wise and discerning and experienced men from your tribes, and I will appoint them as your heads.'

Proverbs 10:13 (CSBBible)
13 Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning,
but a rod is for the back of the one who lacks sense.

Proverbs 16:21 (CSBBible)
21 Anyone with a wise heart is called discerning,
and pleasant speech increases learning.

1 Corinthians 11:31 (YLT)
31 for if ourselves we were discerning, we would not be being judged,

Ephesians 5:8-11 (HCSB)
8 For you were once darkness, but now ⌊you are⌋ light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
9 for the fruit of the light ⌊results⌋ in all goodness, righteousness, and truth—
10 discerning what is pleasing to the Lord.
11 Don’t participate in the fruitless works of darkness, but instead expose them.

Psalm 119:66 (HCSB)
66 Teach me good judgment and discernment, for I rely on Your commands.

Proverbs 23:23 (NJB)
23 Purchase truth—never sell it— wisdom, discipline, and discernment.

Philippians 1:9 (ASV)
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment;

Hebrews 5:14 (ESV)
14 But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.

DO NOT CALL discernment Judging. Learn to tell the difference.

I REPEAT: Judging, only means to PASS SENTENCE UPON.

It's not a license to sin.
It's not an excuse to sit on your backside and watch the world go by.
But how could men not believe that is what would happen with it? That that is in fact the general nature of man.
And we are the ones who would be held responsible for it. Those who teach it, those who let it go.

One example,
The weak in faith believe the teaching, without seeking out the truth, forever convinced they are covered, when in fact, they are not actually saved. They have been told they are saved. They themselves believe they are saved. So now we find that anything that may sent them back to seek out the word is washed away in the conviction they are covered under OSAS. They miss it all.

The excuse that they were never really saved doesn't help because THEY DONT KNOW THAT. We do. We are sitting here talking about it, They on the other hand, with their false sense of security, will never seek out the Word again. They don't know that our God is a God that opens up the ground and swallows people alive that go against Him.
That He came to the earth to right HIS LAWS Himself and that the people were to scared to listen directly to Him so they had Moses do it. That it is not a casual thing.

If once you were saved you stayed that way I would have no problem. But the parable of the sower flat out tells us, that isn't true. So we shouldn't teach it.

Here is some encouragement from the Bible, I just remembered it, and it encouraged me.

Acts 26:14 (KJV)
14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

The pricks He is talking about is Goads. The last thing your want to kick against when all you have is sandals on your feet is these type of Goads. Saul showed that stubborn resistance just before he responded to CHRIST.

OR

These to could be called Goads, because shepherd would use branches from one of this to keep cattle or sheep moving alone the road.

Apparently, "to kick against the goads" was a common expression found in both Greek and Latin literature—a rural image, which rose from the practice of farmers goading their oxen in the fields. Though unfamiliar to us, everyone in that day understood its meaning.

Goads were typically made from slender pieces of timber, blunt on one end and pointed on the other. Farmers used the pointed end to urge a stubborn ox into motion. Occasionally, the beast would kick at the goad. The more the ox kicked, the more likely the goad would stab into the flesh of its leg, causing greater pain.
goad (plural goads)

  1. A long, pointed stick used to prod animals. quotations ▼
  2. (figuratively) That which goads or incites; a stimulus.
This farmer is using a short goad on his oxen, a pointed stick, it is blurry do to the fact he is swinging it.

It is easy to see why thorny plants would be called Goads.

The parable of the sower could be seen another way than 4 pictures of individuals.

It could be the process of truth piercing through to repentance from self ways to being born from above in one person. I can truthfully say I was all those things.

Also, to do any work to keep salvation or to remain saved is from the motive of fear. And that makes God the hard taskmaster.

And right there is why you will never grasp the truth.......LOVE and TRUTH go hand in hand....this NEW AGE psycho babel of sweeping the truth under the rug in favor of embracing each other with love is proof positive of why you miss the mark and why you do not have an inkling of understanding concerning WHY I and a few others stand against this hyper evangelistic pseudo love that rejects the absolutes of truth which is being peddled by many so called Christian religions....

NO ONE can biblically love in a GODLY manner outside the realm of absolute TRUTH and the boundaries found therein.........
Love is simple. If spoken from the heart through Christ it is Gods gift to earth.
Our authority and life come from Him, and you cannot fake His love.

Unfortunately I speak of the love of Jesus and His love He puts within us through Himself,
the truth, and the way.

But in this simplicity you add so many other things and excuses while denying Nineveh and repentance,
clearly it is little wonder it all seems so alien to you. We speak only as far as our hearts have learnt.

God bless, may you find His way, His path and His life, Amen

oh my yes, we both have learned/experienced what a 'hard-task-Master' He can be, -
but, we have also learned how 'kind-gracious-merciful-He IS, with the over-whelming
personality of His Love... If we need 'hard-correction' to get us on His right-path', then,
He can be that 'hard-taskmaster', but if we need 'soft-loving-comfort', then He can be that also...
we are talking about 'A Multifaceted-Jewel', the reflection is in Paul's words,
"I have become all things to all men"...

"Your own words condemn you. There is most definitely a lack of reality regarding your faith position. "

There is a small problem here. I share Jesus's words and the reality in my heart.
I stand before Him, condemned or otherwise, as does my faith.

It is possible to create a series of statements that turn an innocent man into the worst
criminal ever, but these are words of propogandists and evil people.

The only way to stay sane is to be like a child and realise love blazes like a light, and forgiveness
is simple, one action at time, and when you get to the end of confession and repentance you see
God. That is why Jesus said He is the way, the truth and the life. No one gets to the Father except
by Him. So I encourage you to find this path, to repent of your sins, to trust in Christ and walk in
His ways because in this you will find life eternal and knowledge of the Kingdom.

God bless you all, Amen.
