The following is a comparison between the bible and salvation losers......and make no mistake...this is exactly what they peddle and or how they butcher the word of God by their losable salvation....
Bible -->I will never leave thee or forsake thee
Salvation Losers ---->Jesus is a liar and will leave us and forsake us
Bible --->We are saved to the uttermost and kept by the power of God through faith
Salvation losers --->The power of God is weak and inept, we are not saved to the uttermost and GOD does not keep us
Bible -->Jesus begins, finishes and completes the work of faith in us
Salvation losers --->WE must maintain our faith because JESUS does not finish and complete the work of faith in us
Bible -->He that believes on the SON is having everlasting/eternal life
Salvation losers --->He that believes and MAINTAINS his belief on the SON is having temporal life based upon what he does or does not do
Bible -->Therefore we conclude a man is justified by faith without the deeds/works of the law
Salvation losers -->James out of context tells us we are justified by our works before God
Bible -->It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe
Salvation losers --->It pleased God by works, church membership, baptism, pew jumping, speaking in tongues, back flipping down the isle, saying 57 hail Mary's, taking the Lord's supper, keeping the sacraments and a dozen other religiously zealous man made efforts to save them
Bible -->NOTHING can separate us from the love of GOD
Salvation losers -->Numerous things can separate us from the love of GOD
Bible--->We are in the Son's hand, the Father's hand and NO AN can remove us from that position
Salvation losers -->The above is false, we can remove ourselves because God is weak and inept
Bible -->We are sealed unto the day of redemption
Salvation losers-->The seal of God can be broken because God is weak and inept
Bible --->Where sin abounds, grace abounds the more
Salvation losers--> We qualify, quantify sin and God's grace only covers those small sins when we mess up and for sure we have never lost it, but eternal security believers lose it because they believe they can live any way they want and live like the devil
Bible --->He that believes on the Son is not condemned
Salvation losers --> Believers are condemned all the time and returned to being goats after becoming sheep
Bible --> I will lose nothing, but raise it up the last day
Salvation losers -->God loses people all the time because he is too weak to keep them saved
Bible--> We are born again from above by INCORRUPTIBLE SEED
Salvation losers --> We are not born of incorruptible seed, because that seed can be corrupted and one die lost after being born again
Bible --> The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable
Salvation losers -->God's free GIFT of salvation can be revoked because GOD will break ALL the above promises and send one to hell after being saved
ETC.............I dare to say that salvation losers are false.....and what they peddle is not of GOD and as blasphemous as it comes......the above is a SMALL sample of scriptural promises that MUST BE DENIED, REJECTED and or SWEPT UNDER THE TABLE to peddle a dime store salvation that cannot be found in the bible and or a dime store salvation that devalues the work, promises and ministry of CHRIST!!!!!!!
The following is a
fair comparison between the bible and faith alone regeneration theology. The verses that dc has presented are quite true and if this was all that the bible spoke on this subject he would be correct. But the following verses tell a more complete story of the good news of Jesus Christ. Verses that cannot be ignored or filtered through our own sensibilities of what it should mean.
I will try to be as fair as I can be.
Bible--> If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. (John 15:10)
Faith Alone--> Keeping commands are works, we cannot lose the love of Jesus.
Bible--> For
whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother. (Matthew 12:50)
Faith Alone--> We are brothers and sister in Christ regardless if we do the will of the Father.
Bible--> He replied, “My mother and brothers are those
who hear God’s word and put it into practice.” (Luke 8:21)
Faith Alone--> There is nothing to put into practice, God does all the practicing.
Bible--> I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge,
will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. (2nd Tim. 4:7-8)
Faith Alone--> God does all the fighting, God runs the race and God protects our faith. Salvation is not an award but a gift that we have no part in acquiring.
Bible--> You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to
keep you from obeying the truth? (Galatians 5:7)
Faith Alone--> There is no race to run because Jesus ran it for us. Obeying the truth is but an act of merit.
Bible--> "Now that you know these things, you will be blessed
if you do them" (John 13:17)
Faith Alone--> We can do nothing to get God's blessing they are a gift. If you do something for it then it is not a gift.
Bible--> You are my friends
if you do what I command. (John 15:14)
Faith Alone--> There is nothing we can do to get closer to God.
Bible--> Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one
who fears him and does what is right. (Acts 10:34-35)
Faith Alone--> God accepts us not because we fear Him or because we do what is right.
Bible--> God will repay each person according to
what they have done. To those who by persistence
in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality,
he will give eternal life.
Faith Alone--> We can do nothing to please God. Our persistence in doing good is for nothing. God gives eternal life to who He wishes.
Bible--> Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—
continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, (Philippians 2:12)
Faith Alone--> You can do nothing to work on your salvation, God does all the work.
Bible--> See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. (Colossians 2:8)
Faith Alone--> God gives you salvation and no one hold you captive. This warning is moot.
Bible--> He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne. (Rev. 3:21)
Faith Alone--> We cannot overcome, so God will never ask us to.
This is but a small sample of just the general verses in the NT on obedience and its blessings. There are many more that deal with the more detailed commands and blessings in both the Old and New Testament.
I do not deny or ignore any of the verses presented by dc but they do not make void the rest of the bible. The flow and form of the bible is one of God offering His blessings and man either accepting or rejecting His offer. There is no merit is simply complying with the directions of God. The Hebrews were not righteous because they applied the blood to the door post but blessed because they did.
Jesus is not devalued because of our compliance to His instructions. That is an absurd idea.
