No one is without sin except Jesus.
A saint is a saint because of the work of Jesus and never, ever because of anything they do except believe what He did is true.
Hi UG,

Is your sin forgiven in Christ? Do you know His cleansing and purification in your heart?
Has be not made you pure and Holy, filled with the Holy Spirit, burning with a desire to honour
and follow the King?

We can walk as Jesus walked, in His footsteps. What is stopping you from believing this?
He promises to change us, to teach and lead us into His ways, to be one with us as He is
one with the Father.

As well.....

I believe that sanctification is an event first where we are separated unto Christ (our position) and made holy once and for all, and then it’s a process where we learn to live out of that position of holiness.

The process does not sanctify us, it teaches us how to live a sanctified life. :)
As you know I believe sanctification is dual in usage....

a. At the moment of belief we are sanctified positionally and eternally IN CHRIST
b. The second aspect is is our daily lives and subject to the transformational process described in Romans 12......

How can another brother say to his fellow brothers/sisters that they think we think we can sin all we like because we are saved by Gods grace...

No brother or sister saved by Gods grace believes this , only those who CLAIM to be Christians...

Assuming that this is aimed at us who believe that we are kept by the power of the Almighty God , I do not for one minute think these accusations are pleasing to God to accuse a brother or sister off such things...

These snide remarks stick out like a sore thumb , check yourself , and see if it is yous that are in the faith...

It is the power of God who keeps us , it all of Jesus , nothing of ourselves...

Just get fed up with the on going onslaught saying , just because we believe in the Salvation of Christ that gives us eternal life , does not mean we take Gods grace lightly , far from it...xox...
AMEN ROSE......it is the only straw they have....for sure they have nothing against the truth other than false allegations, twisted scriptures, out of context views, denied verb tense and RELIGION.........

Obviously...and no one earns their way to sanctification as far as position goes.....
Yes, it just seems like some (those working for salvation) preach it that way.

But then they this miss justification all together so not surprising.

When Jesus saved us , we became straight away The bride of Christ , a living stone , the children of God , the Body of Christ , just a few ways expressing who we are in Christ...

We are the bride of Christ , why would God call us such only to divorce us , imposible , for God does not go back on His word , we are who we are by the grace of God , God says , we believe...xox...

This sounds like something I could interpret any way I like.
So knowing the kind of theology "free grace" believers follow, nothing is known but peace,
peace is the call.

This is why I love verses like this one

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
1 John 1

The light to me is knowing our issues and working with them, loving others, being a light
and support to those we meet. But as this seems to be something that causes problems,
I just wonder why?

22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience
and having our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Heb 10

The Lord is glorious to His people, kind, generous, loving.

Hi Rosemary,

Some when they come to faith, they were in the church all their lives and have never been
outside straight nice polite society. They do not know abuse, violence, anger, hatred, bitterness,
and go along with a protected culture and limited view on what is possible and even what is sin.

Coming to faith is like another coat for them often, and it is all show, until finally they find it too
much, and say it is all hypocritical pretending. The trouble is though they know all the words, and
the ideas, it does not mean they know Jesus at all, or that they truly are sinners in need of a saviour.

So though many might claim they are the bride of Christ they have no fruits that show this, or even
faith that expresses this, or anything that distinguishes them from the world.

Jesus will never abandon His people, but we can equally ask who are His people, because unless there
is a true encounter, it is just nice words with nice expectations. Paul was so sensitive to this problem
he said this

20 I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.
Acts 26

9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that
God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10

And this is only the beginning step. Unless one is a cleansed, Holy vessel how can the Lord dwell
in our hearts? Again this is why John wanted to talk about sin and sinful behaviour

9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him;
he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
1 John 3

Sin here is not a wrong word, an unforseen mistake, but continual and persistence evil
behaviour that damages others. Yet some will say you can come to faith and then become
the most evil person imaginable, and God will ignore this, your faith you had and lost will
save you. It is simply denying the difference between love and us being in Jesus with
the world and its selfishness and evil, which destroys all who touch it.

Which is what I've been saying all along about all sin being a choice. Thanks for the confirmation.
Where does what I said say "all sin is a choice?"

Apparently, you think if we walk in the Spirit, we will have a infallibly sinless walk?

Sometimes we sin without knowing it.

Leviticus 5:17- And if a soul sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he did not know it, he is still guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

Doing something in ignorance is not choosing to sin.

As we grow, our sense of sin gets more sensitive.

I will never leave thee or forsake thee is clear.....it is idiotic to say that JESUS will leave us and forsake us after he has plainly stated that he will NEVER do it......

I thought of a falling into sin problem. A brother feels they cannot eat meat, it is a sin, because they
are doing harm to animals which they regard as wrong. Paul suggests such self imposed ideas are
sinful to break. Now imagine another brother gives them meat to eat which they are unaware of.
Has the brother sinned by giving meat for which he has no problem, or by causing another brother
to fall into sin, sinned themselves?

If I regard I am free and meat is not sinful, and I regard it so, then I am not sinful eating it though
others may feel so, I am not subject to their judgement. So resolving such issues is sensitive and
takes love, confession and repentance if someone is upset and hurt. But if sin is just everywhere
and being aware of failure and problems is wrong by itself, people will be in sin and have no resolution
because the sin they commit they are totally oblivious to it and will not progress forward in Christ
until they can resolve this self condemning cycle of behaviour.

I will keep posting the following for the SALVATION losers and those that state faith can be forfeited.....

The following is a comparison between the bible and salvation losers......and make no mistake...this is exactly what they peddle and or how they butcher the word of God by their losable salvation....

Bible --> I will never leave thee or forsake thee
Salvation Losers ---->Jesus is a liar and will leave us and forsake us

Bible --->We are saved to the uttermost and kept by the power of God through faith
Salvation losers --->The power of God is weak and inept, we are not saved to the uttermost and GOD does not keep us

Bible -->Jesus begins, finishes and completes the work of faith in us
Salvation losers ---> WE must maintain our faith because JESUS does not finish and complete the work of faith in us

Bible --> He that believes on the SON is having everlasting/eternal life
Salvation losers --->He that believes and MAINTAINS his belief on the SON is having temporal life based upon what he does or does not do

Bible --> Therefore we conclude a man is justified by faith without the deeds/works of the law
Salvation losers -->James out of context tells us we are justified by our works before God

Bible -->It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe
Salvation losers --->It pleased God by works, church membership, baptism, pew jumping, speaking in tongues, back flipping down the isle, saying 57 hail Mary's, taking the Lord's supper, keeping the sacraments and a dozen other religiously zealous man made efforts to save them

Bible -->NOTHING can separate us from the love of GOD
Salvation losers -->Numerous things can separate us from the love of GOD

Bible--->We are in the Son's hand, the Father's hand and NO AN can remove us from that position
Salvation losers -->The above is false, we can remove ourselves because God is weak and inept

Bible -->We are sealed unto the day of redemption
Salvation losers-->The seal of God can be broken because God is weak and inept

Bible --->
Where sin abounds, grace abounds the more
Salvation losers--> We qualify, quantify sin and God's grace only covers those small sins when we mess up and for sure we have never lost it, but eternal security believers lose it because they believe they can live any way they want and live like the devil

Bible --->He that believes on the Son is not condemned
Salvation losers --> Believers are condemned all the time and returned to being goats after becoming sheep

Bible --> I will lose nothing, but raise it up the last day
Salvation losers -->God loses people all the time because he is too weak to keep them saved

Bible--> We are born again from above by INCORRUPTIBLE SEED
Salvation losers --> We are not born of incorruptible seed, because that seed can be corrupted and one die lost after being born again

Bible --> The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable
Salvation losers -->God's free GIFT of salvation can be revoked because GOD will break ALL the above promises and send one to hell after being saved

ETC.............I dare to say that salvation losers are false.....and what they peddle is not of GOD and as blasphemous as it comes......the above is a SMALL sample of scriptural promises that MUST BE DENIED, REJECTED and or SWEPT UNDER THE TABLE to peddle a dime store salvation that cannot be found in the bible and or a dime store salvation that devalues the work, promises and ministry of CHRIST!!!!!!!

The Gifts and Calling of GOD are IRREVOCABLE
SALVATION is a gift of GRACE
SALVATION is IRREVOCABLE!
