take the plank out of your own eye.

who are you to judge another's servant?

those are just off the top of my head, but you get the idea.
How do these verify your accusation that "I wanted to know how long it takes to bear fruit?" Man, you get lost so easily.

SO Ananais and Saphira were saved? Does that mean that Simon in Acts 8 was saved too?

Acts 8:13 Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw...

18 When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money 19 and said, “Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”

20 Peter answered: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! 21 You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God. 22 Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart. 23 For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.”

24 Then Simon answered, “Pray to the Lord for me so that nothing you have said may happen to me.”

Their key belief is they are sinners without the ability to walk righteously in communion with
Christ, FHA, faith, heart and action. Scripture is so clear this is the way, and through walking it
we are refined and transformed as we strive and struggle through the issues.

God bless you

10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please
him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may
have great endurance and patience, and joyfully
12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the
saints in the kingdom of light.
Col 1

Oddly when we come with the path we are meant to walk, these folk say we are hypocrites
denying our sin and our incapability to walk like this. Sounds like lost sinners pretending
to know Jesus. The door is always open, humble yourselves before the cross, confess your
sins and He will lift you up, Amen
When you talk of their key belief , are you talking about your brother and sisters in here ? , because it seems like you are separating yourself from them , just a thought...

And if you are talking about people in here , it is not a good thing to say that they are not walking righteously with our LORD , that is quite a remark to make...xox...

I think we get confused between what CAN happen to us, the CONSEQUENCES we face, HERE, on Earth, vs. our Salvation. I don't see in the text where Peter says he lost his Salvation.

Hi Rose,

Let me put this simply. We walk with Jesus, in love and openness. We are washed, cleansed, pure and holy.

Then someone says, no you hypocrite, you are a sinner just like us and no one can walk like this, at any
time.

Now this is the reality of belief of some, so I point it out. And these people do not regard me as a brother
in Christ but as an evil enemy. So this is how things are, which I shine a light on. It is better for me to be
in precise, because I am not here to point individuals out, just declare what is going on and why some are
so antagonistic.

And before the Lord, what sin have I committed? None. So this is why those who say I am this or that are
in a sad place, because if the people of God are sinners without reason, then who are these speakers if not
unbelievers, because the children of God do not dishonour the Lord or His people.

Angels of light, yet in their hearts choosing another way. I praise the Lord that through the cross we have
forgiveness, today, as we remember His sacrifice for us and to pay for our sins, with love, sacrifice and forgiveness.
I was humbled this morning in church to ask myself, could I do this for another brother or sister, and realise,
no, not yet. I am too comfortable, too spoilt, too secure in how I live, but by Gods grace, at His calling I trust I
will honour Him. Thank you Jesus that your have saved us and bought us, bringing us into your glorious Kingdom,
Amen.

Very odd film. God is bargaining with satan for the lives of people in the world, and there
is change in the people or bringing into the Kingdom. This is not the gospel at all.

Jesus paid the price for us, by accepting all the hatred and evil thrown at Him by the world
and forgiving it, demonstrating He will forgive us if we accept His terms. And His terms are
love and obedience.

If you do not thing love and obedience are the terms of God you do not know the story of
Jonah. They had to repent of their sin, stop sinning and start to be good people to not be
judged. And we are no different. Jesus is the sign of Jonah.

Faith, Heart, Action

We are saved by faith, which cleanses and purifies our heart which is shown in our behaviour.

8 Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
James 4

1 Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that
contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
2 cor 7

3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.
4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
1 John 3

8 "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith
we are proclaiming:
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10

17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly
obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted.
18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness
Rom 6

10 For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from
evil and his lips from deceitful speech.
11 He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their
prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
1 Peter 3

11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what
is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.

Hi Bill,

I posted a definition of sin, and a definition of repentance.
This is where we are. Some hold that original sin pollutes us no matter what.
I believe our perception lives in unbelief of Gods purity and working in our hearts, so we do not
trust He will show us our failings and led us in true openness and freedom.

Today I shared something for me is profound. Boundaries. We confuse our boundaries with other
people and cannot engage, because we are scared we will get confused and invested too deeply in
them. But if we truly know our boundaries, and who we are in Christ, there is nothing we cannot
give and not maintain our sense of who we are.

Until we learn this, we will not be able to fulfil the promise of Jesus that we can dwell as a loving
community together. Once I saw this, I began to see why we are defeated so often in our own hearts,
and back off from things that deeply stir us. The truth shall set you free. It is profound to die for someone
else, to know ones life will help save another. Our defeats are often who we believe we are rather than
letting Jesus define our identity in Him and His ways. Is there any better place than with Him?
God bless you

Thanks for responding.
The reason I asked you to expand was because your quote indicated a past tense but with no reference to current tense.

You do say and I think you believe that our future sins were not forgiven at the cross and we need to repent of those sins to be forgiven.
So in a sense we are saved by faith and Confession which you correctly quote the verses from Romans.

And in a sense I can't disagree with what you say above, because the reality is that everyone who has confessed Jesus as Lord will want to be like him.

It's interesting that you seem to think and say that those who have a reality of life and that we will sin, not get it right are steeped in a thought pattern of "oh well this is what we are, we will not change and just accept the status quo" easy believism as you say but still saved.

Yet you yourself say

I was humbled this morning in church to ask myself, could I do this for another brother or sister, and realise,
no, not yet. I am too comfortable, too spoilt, too secure in how I live, but by Gods grace, at His calling I trust I
will honour Him.
So you acknowledge your own failings but by Gods grace you learn to and grow living in a way that honours him.

So you have acknowledged you get it wrong, will sin but want to be like Jesus.
Yet those who acknowledge the same as you, you say they do not acknowledge that change is possible.

Are we saved by faith or by faith plus xyz?

If we are saved by faith then xyz will follow, it's what we seek.

I think humility trumps obedience, pride was Lucifer's mistake. I was taught Jesus is our defender and the devil is the accuser. Narcissism, (excessive self love) is the log in many of our eyes. Jesus can say 'hands off he's mine', "enter in my good and faithful servant," as he sees' fit because our sins were separated as far as the east is from the West on the cross. The excessive pride and egos of Adam and Eve were part of the down fall. Remember Adam said "The woman, You gave me..." And Eve said "The snake beguiled me..." Neither said 'Father please forgive me or us.' The basic human default is to point fingers and try and pass the blame like kindergarteners, rather than admit fault and ask forgiveness.

God expects us to be honest with him above any one else but few even have the capacity to be honest with themselves. In many groups, meetings and churches I've attended, the term DENIAL really stands for 'Don't Even No I'm Lying'. We must learn to be honest with ourselves and the Lord can see right through our delusional tendencies which blocks our ability to receive the full measure of blessings awaiting us.

I just posted a response to you before I saw this.

The thing is we need to understand where a person is coming from rather than label them.

Yes the truth will set us free.
But the reality is that for some the truth is a lie.
What is the truth?
The truth is that God loves us as much as he loves Jesus.
If we are his children what is the truth and what is the lie?

You bring up a very important point concerning our identity and who defines it.

If a person sins are they no longer a child of God or a child of God who has not walked as a child of God but still saved?

There is a reason for that.

Do you have any thoughts on that?
To be honest I given what I know what I am like it has nothing to do with me not being honest to myself.

I know me and I hate me, that being the case how does they affect my relationship with God.

Pride, ego, delusion and our sinful nature for starters.
Is that what you think?
Does the above apply to a believer or a non believer?

As a believer for me pride, ego and delusion are not part of the equation.
Sinful nature? Possibly because I still struggle with how God sees me.

They are basic human character defects we must all struggle to purge with the help of the Lord through the Power of the Holy Spirit. That requires faith because without faith, works are filthy rags/ dung.
