so you do not believe Him.
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life,
but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them.
(John 3:36)
I believe in the Christ of the Bible, not the lord of the religious franchises of the world.
Yes, God's Wrath remains on him. The problem is he won't know it because he has been convinced, as was Eve, that God's Wrath doesn't exist for them.
As My Lord warns:
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, (they claim belief) have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Lawlessness)

These "Spirit Breather scriptures" also mean something. Maybe instead of working so hard to justify your religious lifestyle, you might consider the warnings of God. Of course since you are already immortal in your own mind, why bother. You don't need Him anymore.

As for me, I die daily. I need Him every day to direct my footsteps. Why?? Because I'm not a god, I'm a mere human.

so why do you not believe Him?

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life
(John 3:36)
As is your custom you take one verse and reject the entire bible which gives greater meaning to the verse. Jesus said to "live by" EVERY Word of God, not just the ones that can be twisted to promote your religious lifestyle.

Matt. 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

I do believe in Him. ALL HIS WORDS, both as the Word of God and as the Man Jesus. I have faith that he is true.

"He that endures to the end "Shall BE" Saved. This is my hope.

Not as Eve who was convinced of the lie that she was already immortal.

Maybe instead of working so hard to justify your religious lifestyle
maybe you ought to believe Him instead of working so hard to justify your own fearful, judgmental, slanderous religious lifestyle, dude :)

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life
(John 3:36)
anyone who has died has been set free from sin
(Romans 6:7)
perfect love casts out fear, for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen,
but still you people do not accept our testimony.

why don't you ever bold this part?

why do you always slanderously accuse the ones who do believe and rejoice in Him of being lawless?
I don't. I respond to your preaching. And you ignore the response by deflecting and changing the subject. And you do this all in the name of Christ.

it is not deflection at all; it is exactly the subject.

why do you not believe Jesus Christ?

I'll give you this Post. You are the master deflector. You can change the subject so cleverly and deflect so easily. I am in awe of your ability to misdirect. Fascinating. Just to get back on track.

posthuman said:
dude, the teaching that when the Spirit who breathed all scripture says "the law" what it *really means to say* is 'selected portions of the law but not all of it' is not a Biblical fact.
your preaching that when God put down in His book "sin shall not have dominion over you for you are not under law but grace" is a typo, that He really meant to say 'sin shall have partial dominion over you for you are under part of the law mixed with a small amount of grace' is not a Biblical fact.

that's why we don't talk about it. :)

the Serpent seems to have told you, 'you will not sssssurely have eternal life'

Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me hath everlasting life.
(John 6:47)

It is absolutely a Biblical Fact that there was given to Moses a Priesthood which was to perform sacrificial "works of the Law" for the justification and cleansing of sins. That this Law was to be in force "until the Seed should come". And "after those days" the Christ would become the High Priest and perform these duties Himself as He Promised in the Law and Prophets. Your belief or unbelief in this truth doesn't make these " Spirit Breathed Scriptures" Void.

It is also an absolute Biblical Fact that Abraham was not given this Law for Justification. He had God's Commandments an Laws as the Spirit Breathed Scriptures clearly say, but not the Levitical Priesthood to perform "Works" to cleanse his sins. Levi wasn't even born yet. Your belief or unbelief has zero relevance to this Biblical Fact.

Paul understood these Biblical facts.

27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Two laws, one "ADDED" because of transgression of the other "until the Seed should come". One a "Law of Works" and one a "Law of Faith"

Of the one Law Paul says.

Rom. 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Rom. 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

What Law? animal sacrifice? Levite blessings? No, the Law of Faith. Love God, Love your neighbor and all that is defined as doing such which is shown through out the Law and Prophets.

Ex. 20:
2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Of the other Law Paul says:

Rom. 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Heb. 7:28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since (before) the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

Your preaching that this is referring to the 10 commandments is a deception.

What Law made men High Priests? The Law God gave to Abraham? Or the Law God gave to Levi 430 years after Abraham?

Of course, if you are convinced you are already immortal, and that much of God's instructions are against you, these Spirit Breathed Scriptures are irrelevant to you.

As for me, I'm still human, not immortal at all. I have Hope and Faith that I shall receive the gift of immortality, I am waiting with patience for the redemption. But I have not been convinced by other voices that I already have it because the Bible is clear. Not everyone receives His Grace.

7 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
boasting is not excluded by a righteousness of keeping laws. do not pervert scripture.

This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.
(Romans 3:22)
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
(Galatians 6:14)

God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things — and the things that are not — to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God — that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”
(1 Corinthians 1:28-31)

i've made the effort in the past to correct you in detail, but you reject knowledge and continue in your own perverse, mainstream, human, religious false gospel. none of that is worth repeating to your deaf ear.

the crux is this: to be saved, you must believe Him, and you must endure in this belief to the end.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
(John 3:36)

why do you call Him lord and not believe who He is and what He has done? it's not 'deflection' as you falsely accuse, and it's not 'destroying the rest of the Bible' as you slanderously claim; Jesus Christ and His work is the entire Bible: it is the revelation of Him to all whose eyes He opens. you think that after having begun in the Spirit you are perfected by the flesh? then you ain't currently enduring to the end, dude.

get right; believe Him!

obvious question; pure & true answer:

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.
(John 6:28-29)
y'all really think someone who truly believes is spending their whole life engrossed in wickedness and sin?
that's deflection, in my book, denial of the power of God, and disbelief in the glory of the crucified & risen Son.
