I would never imply that God Almighty is weak. But we are weak vessels and the Holy Spirit will not remain in us if we give ourselves over to sin. The Holy Spirit will not continue to live in you if you continue to buckle under sin and live a life that is not reflective of your Christian beliefs. It does not mean God is weak, it just means you are weak. If you sucumb to the Holy Spirit and live a life that allows the Holy Spirit to be in you he will continue unrestricted. But if you live a life that satan would be happy to endorse, the Holy Spirit will not continue in you.
FALSE again.....Grieve NOT the Holy Spirit of GOD whereby YOU ARE SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION<-----It does not say HE leaves us when we sin......It states clearly that we cause him to GRIEVE....

Man...you miss the mark on almost every post that you make.....

I absolutely agree to what you are saying about people who claim to be walking in Christ Jesus , these are the ones you should be addressing , but we walk in the Spirit of God , and because we do still fall short because we are not yet perfect , we have an Intercessor for us who speaks on our behalf , and His name is Jesus Christ...

We as God`s children still sin , but not like we once did , everyday we grow more towards the thought of not willfully sinning against God , we resist temptations but still fall , we do not sin habitually like before , that is the difference...xox...
Amazing truth...too bad he cannot grasp it......

you forgot one more think, squeaking in tongues, and make sure to sound like alvin and the chipmunk who consumed a lot of helium
Oh, I didn't forget. I can see where it would be useful but 'I' have not witnessed it put to use the way scriptures teach. Nor do I practice it.

Did you hear the one about the Italian biker that went into the AG church screaming "Who stola ma Guzi, Who stola ma Guzi?" And the pastor shouted "Amen brother!" Yamaha would be funnier.

WHY DO YOU CONTRADICT THE HOLY SPIRIT? Is that not a Form of Blasphemy?

John 14:16-17 (NKJV)
16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--
17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

Hebrews 13:5 (HCSB)
5 Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.

WHY DO YOU NOT BELIEVE WHAT THE BIBLE ACTUALLY SAYS ? ? ?

Those WHO have received HIS SPIRIT are the ONES WHO ARE TRULY BORN AGAIN,
THEREFORE THAT PROMISE IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE.

But You Want to include these Counterfeit Christians, perhaps because you are one ? ? ?

Matthew 7:20-23 (NKJV)
20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you;
depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

There is your Counterfeit Christians, and they NEVER WERE SAVED OR BORN AGAIN. Everyone that is NOT BORN AGAIN, has that same phony relationship with the LORD, who will say to you 'I never knew you'.

That PHRASE is Synonymous with BORN AGAIN. SO you go to Church, that DOES NOT MAKE YOU BORN AGAIN. You have to have a inner, personal, LOVE, Relationship with the LORD JESUS CHRIST before you KNOW HIM INTIMATELY.

The whole blasephemy subject is and always has been really scary to me. So I do try and be careful what I say because I don't want to be found blaspheming by any means.

Let us get this straight one more time....

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit

The Pharisees were attributing the work of Christ by the holy Spirit of God unto the power of the devil. <--end of story

This is a sate of unbelief....ONE who will not believe that JESUS of of GOD and doing his work by the power of the Holy Spirit is in a state of unbelief....ONE who will not BELIEVE cannot be FORGIVEN.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is to EQUATE the work of Christ to the POWER of the DEVIL <--a state of UNBELIEF.......end of story!

And so of course you misunderstand the joke about misunderstandings.
Yeah, ok I'm just saying we all better be careful what we say and do. If we mess up and blaspheme, I 'm pretty sure God ain't going to be just laughing it off.

equating the works of Christ to that, I know what dcon is saying, but can I comment that, that would be really be "pushing it", it will be like trying to think of the category of "~said no christian ever" and willfully say it against God

Yeah ok, but I'm not going to crack jokes and write something off that is in the scripture just because I don't understand it. That goes right along with what you posted there. So I use caution because, I might just be attributing something to Satan that is really of God.

I think the Pharisee in Acts 5 put it best...It's best just to leave it alone if we don't understand it. If it is not of God it will come to nothing, but if it is then we might find ourselves fighting against God. I for one, sure don't want to be found on that end...just saying

Acts 5
38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
