I also want to point out that I have consistently stated that I never judge a man's salvation, only the doctrines pushed....we all believe what we believe.....and we all stand emphatically upon what we believe......I hate no one on this site, but for sure I will oppose any and all doctrines I disagree with....as do all....!

You are calling Jesus a liar since He gave us the Great Commission!!!

Mathew 28:16 to 20 (great commission) AMPC (Amplified Classic)

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed and made appointment with them.
17 And when they saw Him, they fell down and worshiped Him; but some doubted.
18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).
lol wrong as usual

your first lie

1. You side step john 3 and say i called Jesus a liar when i did not.

your second lie
2. you conflate a physical cerimony meant to represent something spiritual with "requirements" to be saved.

if i am going to be honest with you

i see nothing but a bitter lost man when i see you push your false works based gospel

but i do pray for you

i really do take the time to pray for you

i do hope you come to the truth

but until you are willing to accept you have no power to save yourself

you will not accept the fact Jesus saves whosoever believes on Him

also

if you do not believe

John 3
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

then you actually call Jesus a liar

i believe every single one of His words

which is why i pray on them

keep them in my heart

and study them

He then makes what He means very clear to me

for instance

john 6

28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

i do not know your heart

i just know your beliefs are far from truth

The problem currently is the 7 big protestant denominations have been taken over by secular ministers who are in it for access to the church treasury. Gary North wrote a book Crossed Fingers that documented the takeover of the Presbyterian USA in 1932. There are sub denominations that still preach the gospel. Missouri Synod Lutheran and Presbyterian PCA for example. The problem is almost half of the USA go to church but only a small fraction hear the gospel message.
God sends His angels and prophets to all corners of the earth to preach His gospel. The problem is not that the gospel isn't being taught but people don't have ears to hear because they are filled with Old wine and reject the New covenant being proclaimed.

The ministers I know care less about money and more about people's souls.

Why do you paint people with such a large brush. Do you bother to get to know people personally?

Hi Ariel, you have many biblical insights that God has blessed you with, I love reading your posts. What you said here is very common place in my wifes country Thailand. When I'm riding along in a tuk tuk going to town and as I interact with the passengers eventually I say, "you like Jesu, (Jesus). Almost always its a big happy smile and the answer "No not need Jesus."

Thai's are wonderfully comfortable with there Temple worship and Buddhism. Or like you say, They cannot hear because, they are filled with old wine and reject the new "wine", covenant. nice post.
God bless.

Thailand population: 69,167,793 (live).
Religion;
90 percent Buddhist
2. percent Christian

God bless!

My family is from Cambodia, and I grew up Buddhist.

I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior the summer after I graduated from college.

I read a book called "From Buddhism to Christianity" it made the claim that in Cambodia there were old Buddhist scrolls predicting a Messiah who would come and lead people out of this world of pure/samsara.

The first Buddha even said he was not the moon(salvation) but a finger pointing to the moon.

To me Buddhism teaches the Law and moral codes like the old covenant taught to Israelites. The Word casts out demons.

Most Buddhist like some carnal people claiming to be Christians don't seek to escape the world, but to real blessings and rewards from the world by doing good works.

If the Gospel message doesn't contain Jesus and the criss for the remission of sins, then at the heart the message is no different.

Agape love is not a concept that can be taught by mere words but must be loved and freely given to those who don't deserve grace and forgiveness.

To love your enemies.

To give not to gain or out of fear of losing anything, but because God first loved you.

It goes beyond spoken words to words written upon our hearts.

We must not put the cart before the horse and teach that salvation is by works. We are saved by grace through faith, not works, then created in Christ Jesus unto good works (Ephesians 2:8-10). Good works accompany faith as the fruit, but not the root of salvation. If someone claims to have faith, but produces no works at all (James 2:14), then they demonstrate that they have an empty profession of faith/dead faith and not genuine saving faith in Christ.
I agree with you, and have said so in past posts. But others tell me that we are far apart in our beliefs. We are not.

Where we connect is that through our faith we are created in Christ Jesus unto good works.

Good works always accompany true faith.

No good works = no true faith = no eternal life.

Thank you for your formula for eternal life.

Your formula is missing Jesus and the cross
Exactly....and Mailmandan does not believe the same drivel he does.......a man is eternally saved, sealed, justified and sanctified in Christ positionally before 1 micro gram of work is done or fruit produced........other than the work of the Heavenly Father in belief....that is what he and his microscope buddy fail to understand......they make works part of the equation and in so doing, by default, peddle a works based dogma like a street organ player in Calcutta with a dancing monkey trying to earn a coin......

what is the Gospel?
You ask this question on a Christian web site?
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus who died on the cross and rose the third day. He was sin free and as such was the unblemished Lamb of God dying in our place taking the sins of those who accept His sacrifice on Himself,

Romans 11:29, which says that “the gifts and callings of God are without repentance.”
Works are a sign of our being indwelt, sealed, by the spirit of holy God. They are not what saves us so as to be eternally with God.
God's grace calls the sinner to salvation by faith.
It isn't complicated as some teachings like to make it. And some people out there in the world and that I've encountered from time to time, try to argue it.
You are right good works is a sign that God is indwelt. No works, no God indwelt, no eternal life.

Well "Observe" can mean-watch in order to learn or seek to do as by example-,and Jesus gave the "command" to his disciples not everyone in general, for the disciples"already believed" and so they would obey,he wasn't making like a chain reaction order that if one disciple got a person to listen that the person was to obey what was taught them, that would be "forcing" an individual in to a decision instead of "giving them the possibility" to accept what they taught.
Not in this case! It means action attempting to live without sin. We fail but the attempt is made!!!

THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT PART OF SALVATION.

John 14:15 (HCSB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP]If you love Me{that is BORN AGAIN, that inner, personal relationship, as LORD},
you will keep My commands. {that lifestyle change resulting from GOD's LOVE being poured into your HEART. The Mind of your born again human spirit is in your HEART, not your HEAD.}

Romans 5:5-10 (HCSB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] This hope will not disappoint ⌊us⌋, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. {That happens the MOMENT WE Genuinely BELIEVE, our human spirit comes alive ETERNALLY.}
[SUP]6 [/SUP] For while we were still helpless, at the appointed moment, Christ died for the ungodly.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from wrath.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, ⌊then how⌋ much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by His life!

Romans 10:8-11 (NIV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
[SUP]9 [/SUP] That if you confess {NOT JUST PROFESS IT} with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
[SUP]11 [/SUP] As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

People who think they have decided to follow Jesus, and it is ONLY IN THEIR HEAD; in my opinion, will be woefully disappointed. Your HEART must be involved, or it is a counterfeit.
I agree. How bout that.

Not only do I fully believe saved by grace through faith alone which results in one being saved, justified, sealed and sanctified eternally in Christ by faith before one micro gram of work or fruit being produced (other than the work of the Heavenly father in belief)...I also believe in eternal security based upon the following....and posted this on another thread.....

For salvation to be lost the following must occur.....

1. Jesus is a liar

a. I will never leave you nor forsake you
b. All that the Father hath given me I will lose nothing, but raise it up the last day

2. The Power of God is weak, inept and must fail

a. We are KEPT by the power of GOD through faith

3. Christ is weak and fails in his work of faith

a. Jesus is the BEGINNER, FINISHER and COMPLETES the work of FAITH HE BEGAN IN US

4. THE words ETERNAL and EVERLASTING are LIES by GOD and actually MEAN TEMPORAL and CONDITIONAL

a. HE that believes on the son is HAVING EVERLASTING LIFE
b. ....AND I GIVE UNTO THEN ETERNAL LIFE

5. The SEALING of the HOLY SPIRIT is UNDONE and GOD LIED

a. SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION by the HOLY SPIRIT of PROMISE
6. GOD LIED AGAIN because the seed we are BORN of is CORRUPTABLE

a. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

7. John is a liar when he writes we may KNOW we have eternal life (see point 4)

a. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

8. God lied again when he inspired...

a. NOTHING shall separate you from the LOVE OF GOD

and ON and ON and ON and ON and ON......

It must be tragic to believe in a weak, inept god that cannot keep his word, his promises and one whose power is unable to keep you saved after he saved you at YOUR WORST and while in a totally LOST STATE!

You can have works and the world might even consider them good, but God sees them as filthy rags if you don't have saving faith.
.works before or after doesnt earn folks salvation....why is that so hard for some to accept?

Grace is a free gift,
Hello! We accept that premise. Works will not save you. But no works will damn you.

HAHHAHAHA and NOTE the comma at then end of his statement....no period, because we all know how he goes on to say, no works no faith no salvation...even though James is speaking to a mere mental assent that their is a God and not actual saving faith......(compared to the faith of devils that believe in GOD, but not saving faith in JESUS) but of course the workers for cannot include that fact.......

FALSE again.......or do you just like chunking the verse that states ALL who have believed have done the WORK of the heavenly FATHER in belief......yep....probably so.....
