Once again no one who believes in being saved forever has said we "won't have works" nor "being against works" just that they don't save.
What we all have to know is that faith and works are tied together. One without the other is incompatible with eternal life.

If you say you have faith but are unwilling to do as the Savior commands, or if you have marvelous works but do not have faith in the Savior, you will keep yourself from enjoying the presence of the Father and the Son for eternity.

That is a lie.

That is a lie also.

What I said is quite different from what you present.
Go back and read it. As it is, you are falsely accusing me.
Talk about twisting and misrepresentation!

First, I do not intentionally lie. Do you know what God thinks of a liar? I do not want to be a liar.

So because the idea of a lie has come into our conversation, I wil apologize and we need to end this discussion and part as friendly as we can. Remember we are brothers and sisters and unicorn (I love your picture) in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This stupid question on a Christian site. What kind of idiotic question is this? For an altar to be built it requires a temple. Read Leviticus. It contains all of the rules relating to a sacrifice. The problem Dippidy Doo is Jesus is the only sacrifice that works now. Accepting Him as your savior does what the annual umblemished lamb sacrifice did back then. He was the unblemished Lamb of God!!!

Its not a matter of being unwilling. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. But using my earlier example of anger in my heart at you ,being murder, I agree with Jesus, I confess my murder, I don't want to do it, but I do the very thing I don't want to. So then I agree with Him on what is good, so it is against what I want when I flare up in anger. So then it is not me willfully disobeying but it is sin in me.

None of us willfully disobeys His command to not murder each other. This is why we should be eager to be shed of this body of sin and be clothed with our new glorious body.

Do what I am doing, as if I was still in school in a class. I am putting all things that pertain to walking after the flesh on my left, and all things pertaining to walking after the spirit on my right side. write them down . You will have to search through your bible to find as many as you can.

Here is the scripture defining faith and works relationship. This translation uses the word deeds.

James 2 NIV

Faith and Deeds
14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? 21 Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. 24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.

25 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

After viewing the site I see what you mean he's only talking about the sacrificial altar.

Free Grace Theology is distinguished by its soteriology or doctrine of salvation. Its advocates believe that God justifies the sinner on the sole condition of faith in Christ, not righteous living. Their definition of faith involves belief, trust, and conviction that Jesus is the only way to salvation.
Faith is a passive persuasion that Jesus is the Messiah, and active works are not mandatory in terms of salvation. In other words, Jesus graciously provides eternal salvation as a free gift to those who believe in Him.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_grace_theology

There is a joke, or at least I regard it as a joke, when believers claim to follow a
particular theology then deny they to, and then claim the very things they deny.

It reminds me of a discussion I listened to about modernism where the idea of being
certain or defined about anything was frowned upon, so one could deny everything
while claiming everything. But when actual beliefs got pinned down, they were run
away from. This appears to be the same approach here.

So no one is a Free Grace believer but the whole group agree with free grace arguments
except when challenged. No wonder your yes being yes and your no being no is not
actually stuck to.

And I dearly wish I could be shown that I have lied about something.
Maybe this is lying through chinese whispers, so and so says they lied so they lied but
I do not know what about, but who cares. Or this guy got that wrong and this other guy
is similar so they must have done the same thing. This kind of morality ends in judgment
and a bad place.

Leviticus is generally ignored by Christians because it is the book about rules for the temple. Levi was the tribe of the priests. So rules for the Levites.
I hear ya,yeah some skip to the new testament.

If you had to live righteously before you could be saved, no man could be saved.

He saved you while you were in your sins. He did not say, I will save you when you stop sinning.

Listen pj......you can forget it...ripping someone falsely and then imparting grace and peace belies a two souled unstable man who has both poison and sweet water coming from their mouth!
Hi dcontroversal,

I hope your comments make sense to you, because they do not to me.
I am merely asking the question, Jesus calls us to take up our cross and follow
after Him.

Now obviously this does not speak to your heart, but it does to mine.
I will always take joy in the words of Jesus my Lord and bring blessing to all
I can around. Grace and peace to you in Christ Jesus, Amen.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Romans 12:14-16

It is with great joy that we can testify to the glorious gospel we have
in our hearts in earthen vessels so that glory goes to Him and not us.
Rejoice and be glad, for great is the reward we have stored up for us in
heaven, Praise the Lord, Amen.

How can one who humbly gives their life to their Saviour and Lord Jesus turn from "servitude"?
one can perhaps keep from "small tasks" such as tithes but who serving Jesus can turn away when their Lord earnestly calls them to do what he wills, for instance if one has not heard of Jesus and Jesus calls for one of us to teach them of him and his works, whom in his service can "keep from doing his will"?

I hear you Ben , and after hearing a sermon on faith without works is dead , I can understand this tonight...

You see faith without works is dead...A few days ago I was in the middle of having a heart surgery , but due to an untold problem they retracted and I will have surgery at a latter date...Now while this was all before me I was resting and trusting in God , I was reading Scripture and speaking it out loud over my life , " Your will be done Father , whatever your will "...So in these months building up to my op , I was living in my faith, my faith was alive not dead , and what happened in the middle of my surgery was shown a problem the doctors never saw , so they stopped , withdrew and have made another date so they can sort two problems in one , my living faith got me through it...:)...

Now tonight my faith was dead , why  , because I turned to alcohol , I drank through my nerves , I drank because of the aftermath of what I went through these past days , I put my faith in drink to calm my self , that is dead faith , and now I have repented...James is saying our faith is dead when we put our faith into dead works , now my faith is alive in Christ where it should of been tonight , not in my self looking beyond Christ , anything we put our faith in is dead unless it is in Christ Jesus , so my faith in myself tonight is dead , but thank God I am in Christ Jesus who has forgiven me , my faith in my own works tonight was dead , but now as I type , I am typing through faith in my LORD Jesus Christ , my faith is now alive Praise God \:)/xox...
You are the type of Christian that Jesus loves. You have great faith that lead the surgeons to go another way. You are also imperfect, but since you realize you are, and you are willing to repent, you find yourself back in the arms of Jesus where you belong. He will always be with you, and you will feel his healing presence as you apply your righteous faith.

You deserve to be off your bed and outside to enjoy the creation. The sun and the earth have healing properties all coming through the light of Jesus Christ, so hope you get well and find yourself enjoying the beauties of nature like God intends us to.

Keep us up to date on your surgery. I am glad you mentioned it so we all on the forum can pray for you.

May the Lord Jesus be with you in your hour of need. As you call for him, he will hear you and as you open your heart, he will enter.

Exactly Jesus leads his servants to plant seeds in others so that they might be saved while in their sins, not after even sin remission.
