Over and over,the natural family is compared to the heavenly.
If my son sins we deal with it even though we both know forgiveness is present.
You are saying he stops being means y son.

The word itself is simply go the other way.
However the trangression is of course forgiven. That we seem to both agree.
It is,however his favor that is what I am addressing. His fellowship,and the fact we break his heart,but beyond that it should break OUR HEART.
That is why we repent. Not out of command or even seeing it as a salvation issue.
That is the biggest misunderstanding I see,is that it appears we do not even know his favor departed.

The personal stuff is toxic and that is why this thread is divisive.
If you stick strictly to concept vs concept,you will see a vast difference in the "back and forth"
Sin is at issue. Sin in relationship to a believer. Not salvation. We are dealing with sin as a born again believer,and heavens attitude toward it.
