1 Corinthians 15:51-55, “See, I speak a secret to you: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible has to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality. And when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming. O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your overcoming?”
So what...does not change the fact that we are born again of INCORRUPTABLE SEED....so...which part of us does not sin per John's words in 1st John?
Im not talking about 1 John, just showning none have yet put on "incorruption"

as the passage says, " when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be"

when?

"at the last trumpet"

Yeah.....you need to study a little more...Corinthians is speaking to the body of flesh we will shed....NOT the spirit which has already been born AGAIN of incorruptible SEED

That is not what I said, implied or asked.....and you wonder why I fire on you....can you have an honest conversation without twisting, embellishing and or doing like you have done in the last three or four posts?

A. The spirit is born of INCORRUPTABLE SEED by the SPIRIT OF GOD and does NOT SIN <---why we are eternally secure
B. The spirit is housed in a dead body of sin not subject unto the law of GOD and unless TRANSFORMED by the renewing of the mind will fall short every time and sin <---why we are chastised as children when we fail to walk worthy
C. The battle ground is the MIND <---Jesus said the SPIRIT is WILLING but the FLESH IS WEAK

The CORINTHAN reference is applicable unto the BODY and the DAY it is raised incorruptible, celestial, in power

ALL sin except JESUS...some more than others!

A on the list....

A. The spirit is born of INCORRUPTABLE SEED by the SPIRIT OF GOD and does NOT SIN <---why we are eternally secure
So you believe that peoples are already born of incorrupatble seed now?

and thus dont sin?

no sin means zero, if there is a single sin it's not no sin right?

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.

The Lawyers and Pharisees could not admit error as well......law breaker!
Try again......I have faith and the imputed righteousness of CHRIST without the LAW and or WORKS.....based upon GRACE

How is that working out for you....have you obey ALL applicable laws today, yesterday, last week, last year?

NOPE....your guilty........

I was being sarcastic in response to a friends sarcastic post. Thus the funny crazy faces at the bottom.

I am being saved, I am not already saved as "MANY" preach. Matt. 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

It isn't the end yet VCO.

John 5:34 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Rom. 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

John 10:9
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

1 Cor. 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

I could go on and on.

So how do I know I'm being saved?

I use the test Jesus had written for me.

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

And again in James.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. (prone to sin)

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, (Endure till the end)he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. (Shall be saved)

Sorry about the sarcasm, I should have qualified it as such. I hope I answered your question.

No, I was being extremely serious, and highly suspected you would not know how to define it, nor how to know it.

Isaiah 45:17 (GWT)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] Israel has been saved by the LORD forever. You will never again be ashamed or disgraced.

Romans 5:7-10 (ESV)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—
[SUP]8 [/SUP] but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.

Romans 8:24 (NASB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?

Ephesians 2:5 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NASB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
[SUP]9 [/SUP] not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

John 6:47 (CSBBible)
[SUP]47[/SUP] "Truly I tell you, anyone who believes has eternal life.

John 3:36 (ESV)
[SUP]36 [/SUP] Whoever believes in the Son
has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Acts 11:18 (GW)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] When the others heard this, they had no further objections. They praised God by saying, “Then God has also led people who are not Jewish to turn to him so that they can change the way they think and act and have eternal life.”

1 John 3:15 (CSBBible)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] Everyone who hates his brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.

1 John 5:11 (CSBBible)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Acts 26:18 (HCSB)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] to open their eyes so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that by faith in Me they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified.’

1 Corinthians 15:53 (NKJV)
[SUP]53 [/SUP] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

John 10:27-28 (CSBBible)
[SUP]27 [/SUP] My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me.
[SUP]28 [/SUP] I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand.

No, I am not pointing out contradictions. There is a secret to understanding why they are not contradictions. A very common misunderstanding among many Christians of today is the FALSE Belief that SALVATION of the human spirit, and SANCTIFICATION OF THE BODY, ARE THE SAME THING. No, they are NOT.

SALVATION, primarily refers to the Human Spirit, which happens the instant the Holy Spirit enters your heart, birthing your human spirit into Eternal Life. Yes there are verses that refer to your body being saved to, but that is a SEPERATE TIME from when it happens to your spirit. SANCTIFICATION OF THE BODY, is a lifelong struggle of becoming more and more like Christ, not becoming perfect or complete until the Resurrection giving us a GLORIFIED BODY like Christ's. Yes there are verses referring to the already SANCTIFIED human spirit in the past tense, but the Primary use of the word SANCTIFICATION is usually referring to Mortal Human Body. You have been treating the verses referring to SALVATION and SANCTIFICATION of the Human Spirit and Human Body, as if they happen at the same time; while they obviously DO NOT, or you create all kinds of Contradictions. Remember, GOD is not the Author of Confusion, we do that to ourselves.

if we 'sin', we're 'not-sinless' - the Bible teaches us that 'if when we are truly 'born again',
we will truly be 'sinless'...'Walk in The Light, Walk the Walk, Talk the Talk'...
no 'if's, anywhere,..

don't know about ya'll, but, we, hub and me, are still 'running-'walking NOW':), and have
been given a glimpse, a glorious glimpse of where we all are supposed to be going and how
to get there The Only Way:),,,
b's & s' know...we didn't ask for these 'suit-cases'...
it feels real good, beyond words to describe being 'awakened/to being called, chosen,
elected by and for 'the Glory of God', 'for HIS NAME'S SAKE'!...Amen...
