I wouldn't speak for God. However, I will say, if we hold to that part of the Saint Apostle Paul's letters then none of us can identify by whatever Denomination we are a member of either.
Baptist, Methodist, etc...
I wouldn't ascribe a different rule in that regard to Messianic faithful. God knows the heart. The title man bears to encapsulate the definition of what they hold in faith, even just that of, "Christian", is for man's sake. God knows the heart.

You make assertions with no evidence. I am not aware of churches that teach what you claim "the churches" teach. So, it is incumbent upon you to demonstrate that there are, in fact, real churches that teach what you claim, so we know you aren't just making things up to support your position.

There is a difference between churches that teach "the sacrificial system in order to better understand what Christ does for us" (and yes, I have been to a church that teaches that) and churches that teach "that we should ignore it" or "not listen to it".

Your penchant for paraphrase puts your position in peril. :)
I appreciate your insistence on precise thinking and wording, I have to sharpen my own logic. This post is trying to give generalizations about two quite different approaches to scripture and make them accurate. Messianic churches ARE different. You are saying that my generalization about the churches that aren't Jewish or Messianic is inaccurate. Nayborbear put it quite well when she spoke of how these churches the churches saying they follow Christ and new covenant pigeonhole people who include the old testament in their path. It is based on this pigeonholing I so often hear and see that I am basing my description of these churches.

Thanks; I understand that.

I don't know the churches to which you refer. The churches I have attended have included the OT in the teaching, and as I said, I haven't come across churches that teach anything like what you claim. So, when you say, "the churches", I know it is not the truth, because some are not like that.

Generalizations are rarely accurate. If you're going to employ them, it would be helpful to articulate that. Then your assertions have an appropriate context for consideration.

I will ask this though: since you "so often hear and see" such things, why don't you take up the discussion with them directly?

The Messianic church is different. You see what is wrong when I try to point out what is different, would you please tell us what the difference is? I have spent several years of days in full time study of scripture using material written by a Messianic scholar and I have attended a Messianic church, so I felt qualified to answer. You seem to feel you are able to mow my answer down based on that I don't explain the churches I have been a member of all my life. If you actually know just what is wrong, could you give us what is a right answer?

I would have thought that was evident. I took exception to your use of "the churches" as though all churches teach such things, when clearly that is not the case. If you are talking generally about churches you have attended, then say something like, "In the churches I have attended...." That way, you're not maligning churches that you haven't attended.

And what about the universal attitude of each of the members of these two disciplines? If the old testament is mentioned in a post it is spotted as messianic. If Christ as the God to follow is mentioned it is spotted as orthodox. Orthodox read and know the old testament, Messianics accept Christ as their savior. You are great at being a critic of an explanation why not try explaining this difference yourself instead of just criticizing others attempting it?
