I cant tell you how many incidents I've heard that involved a man when there arnt many of them in the healthcare industry to begin with other then doctors pharmacist

Though we are equal in God's eyes we were made different. I like allot of woman tend to be to rank high on agreeableness and it's not a characteristics you want in a pastor. that doesn't mean preaching the gospel is cut off from us. I've seen my mother preach the gospel all my life from her salon chair and I'm sure many other woman are also.

We're talking about the official authority bestowed on men in official positions in church, where they can exert that authority, and their role of head of household in their families. I don't know why people keep mixing this up. God wants both men and women to preach the gospel as well as build each other up in day to day life.

I think this issue is important because satan has been trying to upend the order that God set from the very beginning. He himself is doing this because he himself wants to usurp God the Father's authority which is the highest over all. This is why he attacks the order God set for His people.

Notice how he approached Eve instead of Adam to initiate the sin. And he succeeded. So this has been a sin he promotes ever since he wanted the authority of God the Father for himself. I don't want to be a part of any of that and urge other Christians too to not fall prey to it either.

I lean toward the understanding that 1Tim2 is speaking specifically to wives in concern to their husbands, consdering the final verse in that chapter which footnote reveals
"d Literally, She, however, will be saved"
and, the verse conclusion is... "if they (my emphasis) continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control"
To me, the "they" isn't so cut and dryly referring back to women but seems rather more relevantly referring back to the husband and wife pair.

I did consider it as a potential career option when in HS. Decided against it and don't like male nurses. As far as that goes, I'm not too fond of MDs either.

Not all drama students are drama queens either, but there were so many hitting on me that I turned down a full ride scholarship from WVU in theater.

In a career where a family members/ patients life is entrusted to a possible reprobate, I don't think it's worth the risk. Yup, I'll say that publicly and when it's the appropriate time name names.

Slander is individual. Yes, I'm prejudicial about a few things and people. But I agree that a conviction before exposure is wise. I have a list of those criminals and I believe that God will bring them to justice.

I didn't say they were gay I said the guys are not good caregivers and sometimes woman aren't either. Think of your childhood which of your parent were easier to annoy first? Who rose their voice first? It's not mother it's usually the dad with the belt. The mother is the comforter. Even though people are trying to change the order of in modern society. Everyone knows Pauls words on women pastors or rather a women speaking or teaching in the church and at face value this would seem pretty clear however the context of the verse has to do with the issues that was going on in the church at the time but what really got me thinking was this right here

Galatians 3:28 states that in Christ Jesus, there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor male nor female, for all are one. This verse emphasizes the equality and unity of believers in Christ, transcending traditional social and cultural divisions. It highlights that these categories, while still present in human society,
are not determinants of value or significance within the Christian community and so this verse got me thinking if this is to be true then why do we take Pauls words at face value he would be contradicting the himself
unless of course he was speaking in regards to what was going on in the church at the time then it would make sense not to mention what about the women who he even baosted about who ministered to people such as Junia?
