I am sorry you feel that Paul is someone you can’t trust. I have met others with views similar to yours about Paul. Their lives didn’t end well. I am an old guy who spent years digging into the Scriptures, and I see no difference in what Paul preaches, only his audience and his idiocentric, at times, presentation.
Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

You have your opinion, I have mine. I researched the differences carefully, there are differences in the messages, since Paul is difficult to understand, it is why I follow Christ, Am I wrong for doing so, certainly not. We all have free will. if you take the time to write down Jesus message and Paul's you will see the differences, the gospels are not the same, the differences are important.

Remember Paul in many places in his epistles refers as the gospel of Christ as MY GOSPEL, even had the audacity to claim Jesus was raised from the dead by HIS Gospel. also that we would be judged by HIS Gospel. It is GOD who does these things NOT PAUL. for the judgment it will be Jesus who will judge us NOT Ppaul, do you start to see now? Please do not try to make excuses or apologies to explain the verses below, they mean what they mean.

Rom 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Rom 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
2Ti 2:8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

Also do not forget jesus words that say the master is greater than the servant;

Jhn 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
Jhn 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
Jhn 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
Jhn 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
Jhn 13:17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
Jhn 13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
Yeah the bible says there’s one gospel and there are four eye witness accounts of the gospel which sets the foundation for the New Testament and it warns people preaching other gospels of the terrible consequences doesnt that make you think twice ? It’s not my opinion I quoted scripture saying there’s just one gospel that doesn’t make you consider maybe there’s just one Gospel ?

with the wisdom God gave him could also mean little wisdom, some wisdom, no wisdom, it is not specified, read esebius, Boulanger and others and then we could perhaps discuss.

as for wisdom, this is Paul's and assuredly false;
Rom 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Rom 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
2Ti 2:8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

i am just trying to say take Paul's words as a servant's words, his words are not equal to Jesus words. Paul's words must be in accord with Jesus if not, must be rejected. Jesus is the only way to the truth and life.

also remember a warning from Jesus;

Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe itnot.

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Mat 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.

Mat 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

We are thus warned to be careful and use discernment, we have no excuse not to believe every word that Jesus said.

I do not want to cause discord here so I will no longer discuss Paul. @Pilgrimshope
Yeah that’s no problem I just wanted to quote that there’s one gospel in the Bible and paul was one of the lords witnesses of it . So that part from scripture was in the thread

Amazing grace, as I read this, I heard God say, once you or anyone believes me, I, God Baptize these in Me as John sad, he only Baptized with water, yet God with Holy Fire in Spirit and Truth, as I see you have been given this too. Thank you, for all the scriptures as proof to me, God is real as the air I breath

As Jesus breathed on them
What do you see here ?

“And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

and there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:9-11‬ ‭

You see a man being baptized in water , by the baptizer God sent and filled with the Holy Ghost from the womb , and when he emerges from the water the Holy Ghost comes upon him and it is announced by heaven “ this is Gods son and God is well pleased with this man he has no sins this Jesus , the only begotten son of God.

This is why Christians get baptized into his name for the remission of thier sins in him who has no sins and was made flesh and sinned not but put to death for our transgressions and was raised to life for our justification in the sight of God

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
‭‭John‬ ‭3:5 ‭KJV‬‬

“born of water

a child is announced at a birth

coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

and there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

“For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:27-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

were born but first we are recognized here to have died with Christ

remission of sins if I believed Jesus died for my sins I would then want to get baptized in his name for remission of my sins as God has provided for us

“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:3-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

baptisms power is in the things Paul’s teaching about it here to believe as he’s saying that’s how faith works.

If I believe “ ehh baptism doesn’t actually mean anything it’s just a ritual “

then it’s not going to have the effectual power to remit sins and change us internally over time believing what’s being taught about things like baptism is what gives it power to affect us in our minds and hearts and change us towards God

Baptism is a doctrine designed by the lord that is rooted in belief that Jesus died on your behalf for your sins so you could have then remitted and be called a child of the living God in whom he is well Pleased who he sees now through the righteousness of Christ in whos name we are baptized fornthe remission of our sins and justification of our lives before God almighty

through who’s stripes we are healed day by day and once for all and forever

Hmmmmmm?...:

"If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to Wholesome
Words, even The Words Of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the
doctrine which is according to godliness;" (1 Timothy 6:3 AV)
+
"Hold fast the form of Sound Words, which thou hast heard of me,
in faith and love Which is in Christ Jesus." (2 Timothy 1:13 AV)
+
"For ye know what Commandments [ Wholesome/Sound Words? ]
we gave you By The Lord Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 4:2 AV)
Amen.

Handling The Word Of Life! { Especially Part IV }

As a once backsliden Christian i can say with a certainty you can lose your salvation but i can also say Gods love mercy and grace abound and why take for granted the completed work of Christ and walk the luke warm life to simply teeter in and out of the blessings of God and possibly face him and be sent to eternal damnation.
Hello Stingray., I see what you are trying to explain. But scripturally the term backslider is used 17x in the OT. it is always speaking of a full blown apostasy, or falling away to perdition. It gets applied now a days, by pastors trying to get some unsaved church member to rededicate themself or some other such nonsense, when in truth they never were saved to begin with.
Hebrews 6 is clear with a real apostate; it is impossible to renew them again.

Can a once truly saved believer backslide too much and lose the gift of salvation? If so do they need to repent and ask for forgiveness through Christ again? Thoughts are welcome and scripture too!
Some people believe a person cannot fall when they are saved for they believe God chooses who will be saved, and not saved in the beginning.

But this goes against the nature of God that He is good, and His kingdom is true love, not robotic love, for they would have no choice to but to accept seeing no other alternative.

And He is not evil to condemn people who have no choice but to reject the truth.

Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

God calls things that have not happened yet as thought they already happened, for if it is a plan of God to happen in the future it is the same as if it happened in the beginning, for it will surely come to pass with no hindrance.

Which the Lamb was slain, and the prophets blood shed, and the kingdom prepared, and all the works were finished from the foundation of the world although they were future events.

Which Jesus told the disciples He went away to prepare a place for them but the kingdom was prepared from the foundation of the world.

They misunderstand the meaning of predestination that it does not mean God chooses who will be saved, and not saved without their choice, but it means that God already had the plan to give mankind salvation in the beginning so it is the same as if the saints have salvation in the beginning, and this salvation is to whoever wants this salvation.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

1Jn 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Jesus is the Saviour of the world, and God wants all people to be saved, and anyone can take the water of life freely.

So what they believe is not true, and they can fall if they do not act Christlike led by the Spirit.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Many are called but few are chosen so if God chooses in the beginning then why is He calling people that cannot be saved.

And if they are called then why did they not come to the truth.

1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.

When God calls a person according to their heart condition He will work in their life to get them to the truth, and when they get to the door of truth they have to choose to enter for His kingdom is true love, but they would of not got to the door of truth unless He intervened in their life.

And to enter through the door they have to abstain from sin led by the Spirit.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Which there is no excuse for a Spirit led life will not sin which they are not under the law because their sins are forgiven, and they are not sinning therefore the law cannot touch them for prosecution.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

If they hold on to sin then the blood of Jesus cannot wash the sin away for God will not take a sin away that they hold on to.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Heb 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

A person that confesses Christ should know that they are to turn away from sins, and cease doing sins led by the Spirit.

If they do allow the Spirit to lead them and they do not continue in the goodness of God they will be cut off like the Hebrews in the Old Testament.

2Ti 3:4 lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

But some people deny the Spirit leading them, and are lovers of pleasures more then lovers of God, and are ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth for they believe they are right despite holding on to sin.

Continued from above post

2Pe 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
2Pe 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
2Pe 2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

This is obviously speaking about people that were saved for they had escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ which only a saved person would do that.

If they go back to a sinful lifestyle it would of been better if they had not known the truth than to turn away from it.

This is reversible if they repent and allow the Spirit to lead them acting Christlike for all sins can be forgiven.

1Co 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

There are millions of people that claim Christianity that hold on to sin, and many that believe they cannot fall will enjoy sin for they will think they are alright despite their sin.

Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Heb 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Heb 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Heb 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

It is obvious this is speaking of people that were saved for they were enlightened, and made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and tasted the good word of God which only a saved person would do that.

Which it is saying if they fall away they cannot be renewed unto repentance, for they will put Christ to an open shame.

This is not speaking of sinning that they can repent of for that is not falling away.

But it is speaking of a person that was saved leaving the truth that Jesus is Lord and Saviour for an alternate reality like being an atheist, or another religion, or belief.

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1Ti 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1Ti 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

This is an example here which it is talking about the new age movement that interprets the Bible according to the occult and evolution, and people are evolving to be spiritual, and Jesus is not Lord and Saviour but he became an ascended master, and there is no personal God, and the New Age Christ is the final teacher and above Jesus.

It says some people will depart from the faith the truth of the Bible and follow their interpretation.

2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

This falling away is not the Church for the gates of hell cannot prevail against the Church.

And hypocrites do not cause the Church to fall away for they do not change the truth, or void it out.

And Jesus said the hypocrites do not belong to Him which they will not get caught up to heaven.

The falling away is the condition of the world in response to the Gospel that they stopped the preaching of the Gospel, and the belief in a personal God all nations governments in agreement to it.

Which when the New Age Christ starts working in the world he will push the agenda of the new age movement which he will think to change times and laws.

Which will be the time that people will not want to hear the truth of the Bible but according to their own lusts, and be turned on to fables.

Which some shall depart from the faith and follow their interpretation of the Bible believing a different reality.

There is no reversal for this for they cannot be saved again for God will not allow them to go through the process of being saved again.

But although I wrote all this with scriptures to back it up some people will still believe in OSAS that God chose in the beginning and they cannot fall.

Even though the Bible says God wants all people to be saved.

And people can be saved and lose salvation if they depart from goodness, or believe in an alternate reality, which some shall depart from the faith and believe an alternate realty.

But they are ever learning, and ever able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

So Adam and eve had defective flesh also?
After they sinned, yes. How do you think they died physically? There is now another law at work in our bodies, one that God did not put there, that causes us to succumb to disease, birth defects and ultimately death. What do you think you inherited from Adam if not your flesh?

Romans 7:23
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

It was still created by god
I never said it wasn't but our bodies weren't created by God, we got our bodies from our parents which means Adam passed on defective genes that led to death.

John 3:6
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

pau; ois talking about our desires our wants and our needs. Or flesh is to serve self and not serve others which is what Gopd desires of us.
Our wants and desires come from our mind. Paul is talking about a war between our mind and the self-serving impulses our bodies throw at us demanding attention.

Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
WE are not to judge those outside the Church, but Scripture says we are indeed to address issues within our ranks. If you feel I have judged you, then the verse I posted is doing its job. I beg you to reconsider your low view of the Scriptures.

I see, John's job done, he announced the Messiah as Jesus. Then Jesus went to the desert led by Father, the Holy Spirit, to go through the testing of evil to get him to deny Father. To trip him up in scripture. Using scripture to get his evil way.
Do you think that does not go on today, ( the twisting of scripture) after the death, burial and resurrection of Son Jesus for us the people to be given new life in the risen Christ, given to us by Father of the risen Son, Jesus?
Watch out, for what you, I others desire the most as Proverbs 23:1-7 tells me to be aware of the leaven of the Pharisees. As Jesus warned the disciples of this. Also, notice this too. They were told to wait, to tell the people of his being risen To wait for who? Father, in Spirit and Truth, the Holy Spirit to do through them the truth. As that happened on Pentecost, did it not?
The Tongues spoken were not of the disciples, it was spoken through them, it was God doing the speaking as we are told this in Luke 21:14-15 and Matthew 10:16-20. I am daily in process, thanking God for God's continued forgiveness in Son for me and everyone else too. I only see Love of God as in 1 Cor 13:4-7, 13 tells me of (Which can only be imputed to me and anyone else by God Father of risen Son)
The water Baptism was filled in Baptizing Jesus, John the one to do that. A Levite Priest that left them and went out to the wilderness and began Baptizing in search for the Messiah to come, where there had not been a prophet for 300 years. Was born to announce the Messiah. When he saw Jesus, his cousin coming, he knew and said behold the Lamb of God, that takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29)
Today, is that done, did he in his death take away the sin of the world? In this world from this world view of people No!!!! they speak out of two sides of their mouths.
From Father's view is it done? Yes. Time to believe and stick to it as glued to it, it is each person's free choice to choose. Believe God or not all the way through, no doubting it is done, when doubt, we the people kick ourselves out, by doubt saying "I believe" and then go to get more forgiveness, because you sinned again, not wanting to. God will not send Son back to do , what is done once for us all I (Hebrews 10:10), over again for you or me or anyone else. It is done, we all are reconciled, forgiven by God on that cross death of Son. (John 19:30) (2 Cor 5:17-20)
No one is saved by the death, only reconciled to be saved by Father giving each new life in his Son's risen life for them to walk new in. love and mercy to all
that is the great news, yet this is watered down in, you better do it or else, you need to repent, you just did it again, really?
Either Jesus The Lamb of God took all sin away for us all or he did not, if not, then there is more to be done. Which is what people are preaching this and have made a half-sham Gospel in just being being forgiven only and so you got to go and do more, no problem, you are forgiven go ahead
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at all, thanks hope to help you in your personal walk between God and you, getting the meddlers out of the way from your true born new person God makes you
sealed you in his love and mercy for you too and all others as well.
Sealed, Accepted and forgiven, Eph. 1:1-13. to now be confident Phil 1:6 stand in trust as you sin again, trusting to get taught how to not to do what you now hate to do, even though your first born person loves it still. Enhanced to do it, by being put under aw to do it, Romans 7 Sin takes Occassion by the command not to do it.
I am trusting God too reveal whatever needs revealed to you and all others too, thanks

Hi, CC. As Christians, I believe there are a lot of things about which we can have faith in Jesus. For instance, God has bestowed countless promises upon His children, the believers and followers of Christ. We can therefore have faith that we can trust Him because He will always be faithful in keeping every promise He has ever given to us. He is not going to break any of them. For example, God promises He will never leave us nor forsake us. He promises that surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives. —Selah
We have a Bible example approved by God on what it means to believe. Acts 8:37
“ …what hinders me from being baptized? Phillip said if you believe, you may. He (the eunuch) said, “ I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” Christ wants us to believe in His deity.

I see, John's job done, he announced the Messiah as Jesus. Then Jesus went to the desert led by Father, the Holy Spirit,
Can you see the simplicity of this ?

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬

“Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:35-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Did this man get baptized and saved in water and was it done by a man filled with the Holy Ghost ?

instead of explaining away what I’m asking can you answer did this man get baptized correctly when he had believed? And was it done in water ?

One more question did this group of gentiles converted to Christianity receive the holt spirit because they believed Peter preaching the gospel ? And was his first command to them to get baptized in Jesus name in water ?

“While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.

Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:44, 46-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The answer to both questions is apparent of course and my point is this those men Peter and Philip in the Bible were not practicing the wrong baptism and there’s only one baptism they weren’t teaching this wrong either nor practicing an “erroneous” baptism in water

“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

at he baptism established by God based on his promises of John in the prophets who would offer remission of sins to prepare the people for the messiah

baptism has never changed it was complete when Jesus she’d forth his spirit at pentocost now people can receive his spirit baptism is the same it has the same purpose it’s always had repentance and remission of sins in Jesus name and yes it happens to be performed in water as clearly shown in scripture

peter wasn’t commanding the wrong baptism nor was Philip baptizing improperly or improperly unnecessarily when he baptized the believer in water

hypergrace says “ we dont need to do anything God said we need to do we’re saved by grace “

arhats the only reason anyone ever begins to question baptism the doctrine is thorough and clear from what we do , why we do it , the inner workings of what we’re supposed to believe is happening when we get baptized in his name ect our new identity when we come up from the water as cchildren of God and hiers of Abraham’s promise

God doesn’t establish these doctrines so clearly so we can explain why they aren’t correct or necassary . But so we can learn and believe and partake of the promises within them . I’m wondering these days the benefit of me being here going in the same circles of the basics of Christianity seems counterproductive

it is not once saved always saved. it is to me Once saved by God, always saved by God (Phil 1:6)

here is what I get about Judas, who killed himself in repentance as we see he did from scripture. He therefore repented between God and himself as not worthy. Would not give homage to Evil. So, Satan put him in Spirit prison, having the keys to Hades and Heaven then, not now anymore, is defeated in the risen Son not the dead one.. That Jesus took away on his resurrection from death to life.
Judas was there in Spirit Prison, as a witness to Jesus as the Messiah.
They believed and when Jesus was risen the graves for all opened up as in Matthew

Matthew 27:52

King James Version

52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

Amazing mysteries of God. And God also saved Peter, who denied God three times as said he would do that.
God loves us all y'all time to believe God and stand in a to learn new from error of daily mistakes (iniquities). trust to agree with God as what is not good for you to do anymore, and you will leave whatever has got you in bondage.
Beleive, receive and see new in God for you. Stop going to others in flesh and blood, that are not perfect either, thank you
God in truth still speaks to us in our Souls y'all Sit still, listen and hear truth over error, we all know truth over error and decide according to our wants and needs
Unfortunately, physical leads in the first birth of flesh nature. Once born new by God the tis not a concern anymore
Thanks.
ok

So can you tell me the differences between what Jesus said, and what Paul said?

Because I do not see any differences

Move forward then into Maturity if God permits this yet for you in Hebrews 6:3, start at Hebrews 5:12

So, sorry, you do not fathom this truth in God for us to believe. We I choose/ chose to get Baptized by God, not ourselves or for Church or person, other than God. 1 Peter 3 reveals the true purpose of getting water Baptized as a good conscience towards God.
Yes, the Disciples did as they believed, as all men do as they believe, whether it be true or not, as a man believes, so is that person. and you are carry this on, have to get water Baptized or else, what? God is not going to save you? I do not know a God that is a Tyrant, if there were or is, then Son would never have gotten sent. Great, You do not see the freedom, because, you are under Law, and are promoting Law, mixing in grace unfortunately and not seeing it yet, you will, if you are in belief too God, This freedom is not meant for to be taken for granted as people suppose people are doing as they said this about Paul in 2 Cor

What got done on that cross? Is he now risen and sin taken away for us to walk new or not? And not of the have to do's as you are preaching the history of what happened then, not the Doctrine of the risen Son for us all to stand in,
Anyways. I chose, choose to stand with the risen Son given me
Eph 2 it is of grace and not of works, that it seems to me you are promoting, Love you as God loves us all, anyways. I have gotten water Baptized, just not in other people's Churches, for their merit of favor
God knows who are God's and I think you are of God, and are learning also. I need to learn too, thank you
