According to your own admission you didn't read what I wrote the moment I disagreed with you so if you think that is respectful then you and I have a very different understanding of being respectful.

Go back and read what you admitted you did not read and you will find I have explained the verses you have quoted a number of times. I will not repeat myself any more.

Have a good one.
Not the moment you disagree with me!!! I DON'T GIVE MY OPINION so you can't disagree with me.

JESUS IS THE WORD.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

YOUR CALLING HIS WORD A LIE!!!

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

That's when I'm done!!

Why you ask?

Without some kind of foundation WHY TALK????

When we die will be judged BY HIS WITH HIS WORD, NOT YOUR OPINION.

If JESUS ever pricks you heart like he did those in Acts 2:37, just remember the book of Acts is the building of the church.

John 5:39

the OT is the testimony of Jesus Christ. David confessed His sin, and his sin was removed - directly connected to 1 John 1:9 - the LORD forgives sin and removes iniquity when it is confessed.

two witnesses are sufficient tho i could give a thousand: you are quite wrong, contradicting scripture, when you say water baptism is the only way sin is forgiven.

sin is forgiven by The lord God, our Christ, at His word. by Him and Him only - - as demonstrated also clearly in Mark 2.

Hebrews 6:1-2 - - - you ought to stop drinking milk and become mature, laying aside the elementary things of the faith like baptisms ((Hebrews 6:2)), but you don't seem to have grown your teeth yet - you say "ouch" when your brothers and sisters offer you real food ((John 6:55)), your jaw aching from the hard work of chewing.

but because you insist on porridge,

seeing that we have so many witnesses of the LORD God forgiving and removing sin on the basis of nothing more than faith in Him and confession, what is this physical baptism into Him through water Peter speaks of, to people who have already believed in their heart and now wish to confess with their mouths?

let Peter tell us:

1 Peter 3:21-22
There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.
it is not the removal of filth from the flesh which foegives sin ((the physical act of submitting to baptism)) but the answer of the conscience toward God ((the non-physical substance of faith))

for what does Paul also say? whoever believes in their heart ((non physical)) and confesses with their mouth ((physical signification of the faith that has already been accomplished in the non-physical heart)) is saved, their sins removed.

what then is this baptism that Peter says is an outward symbol of the inward faith? it is confession of that faith - - faith being the thing God rewards with removal of sin. yes God - because it is Jesus Christ Who is the object of our faith.
You forgot to answer my question so is that A BIG NO JESUS DID NOT FILL YOU WITH HIS SPIRIT AND YOU SPOKE IN TONGUES.

Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

WERE YOU BAPTIZED IN JESUS NAME??

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Did you know David was OT??? You keep bringing it up.

HOW CAN YOU CONFESS SINS IF HE DON'T HEAR YOU?????

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

I'm not saying baptism is the only way to get rid of sins, HIS WORD SAYS IT!!!

"sin is forgiven by The lord God, our Christ, at His word. by Him and Him only - - as demonstrated also clearly in Mark 2."

Mark 2? Your right but there is something we have to do.

WHAT ARE YOU READING???

Hebrews 6:1-2 - - - you ought to stop drinking milk and become mature, laying aside the elementary things of the faith like baptisms ((Hebrews 6:2)), but you don't seem to have grown your teeth yet - you say "ouch" when your brothers and sisters offer you real food ((John 6:55)), your jaw aching from the hard work of chewing.

Hebrews 6
King James Version
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

John 6:55
King James Version
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

"but because you insist on porridge,"
I CAN SEE WHY YOUR SO CONFUSED, NOW I AM.

"seeing that we have so many witnesses of the LORD God forgiving and removing sin on the basis of nothing more than faith in Him and confession, what is this physical baptism into Him through water Peter speaks of, to people who have already believed in their heart and now wish to confess with their mouths?"

1. PROVE IT, scripture which says "the LORD God forgiving and removing sin on the basis of nothing more than faith in Him and confession"

Who ever took the KJV bible and made it there way, YOU ARE FOLLOWING THAT MAN or MEN.

1 Peter 3:21-22
King James Version
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

"for what does Paul also say? whoever believes in their heart ((non physical)) and confesses with their mouth ((physical signification of the faith that has already been accomplished in the non-physical heart)) is saved, their sins removed."

2. PROVE Paul said that with HIS WORD.

"what then is this baptism that Peter says is an outward symbol of the inward faith? it is confession of that faith - - faith being the thing God rewards with removal of sin. yes God - because it is Jesus Christ Who is the object of our faith."

3. PROVE Peter said that with HIS WORD.

Fyi, this is what happens to people who alter his word, and you sharing may make you guily as well.

Revelation 22:18-19
King James Version
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

3 simple questions for you.

His own ordinance, in order to fulfill all righteousness :)
like the priests washing themselves before approaching the alter under the Law - - not because ceremonial water was actually removing their sin, but because God has prescribed it.

in the same way God forgave sin through making sacrifices -- the blood of bulls and goats didn't actually remove sin, but God had prescribed it.

it was faith, moving them to wash themselves, and to offer sacrifices, and God seeing their faith, forgiving them.

For Christ, Who has no sin, washing was fulfilling the testimony of the Law about Himself, i think, signaling that He was ready to begin to perform His ministry as high priest.

speaking of, you still haven't answered this one:
All talk no WORD. You know what you are if you say HIS word says something that it doesn't right?

It's not to late, you can get right with him.

Repent, get baptized in JESUS name to get rid of ALL of YOUR SINS.

And pray for JESUS to fill you with his spirit like he did HIS DISCIPLES!!!

YOUR CALLING HIS WORD A LIE!!!
I am calling your interpretation of His word erroneous so stop trying to play the high and mighty hand with me.
If people read your posts they will realise you have actually come to your conclusions based on your experience. Not a good way to come to understanding.

You have stated there are two baptisms, the word says there is one. So who is the liar? Eph.4:5

You have said you must do something to get rid of your sin, the word says Jesus Christ took our sin away. So who is the liar? John 1:29

These are YOUR OPINIONS so you most definitely give your opinions whether you admit it or not.

If JESUS ever pricks you heart like he did those in Acts 2:37, just remember the book of Acts is the building of the church.
I am already saved so Acts 2:37 is long gone for me and your insinuation that I am not is simply more disrespect.

Are you? Have you obeyed what he said we must do?

I DON'T interpret HIS WORD, I don't care about what you or anyone else thinks when it comes to HIS WORD. I ONLY CARE ABOUT WHAT HE SAYS. No one here died for me.

YOU ASKED ME how many baptims there was I SHARED SCIPUTRE.

Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

I don't know who is lying? Christ DID die for our sins, but that's what HE did. What is it that WE have to do to get rid of our sins is the question?

JESUS and HIS word or you?

HIS WORD ONLY.

John 3:5
King James Version
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2:38-39
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Gospel rebirth scriptures

(Acts 2:38-41, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-6, 22:16)

Acts 2:38-39 (Jewish) The group did not receive the Holy Ghost the moment they believed in Jesus. However, they were told they could expect the Holy Ghost at some point.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Acts 8:12-17 (Samaritans)
But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:43-48 (Gentiles)
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Acts 11:13-14
And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

Acts 19:2-6 (Disciples who did not realize they had to water baptized in Jesus name)
He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Acts 22:14-16 (Paul's water baptism)
And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Disrespecting you would be me NOT sharing HIS WORD with YOU.

All talk no WORD.
....

Deuteronomy 5:20
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
1 John 3:15
Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
Matthew 5:23-25
Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
