when addressing an auditorium with a few hundred people,
and an audience that's able to reply,
if the speaker points out that being a republican is a sin, then it is the republicans that speak out the loudest defending themselves.

same with whatever sin is pointed out.

the sinners suffer much much much more , eternally, if they don't repent; so 'silent 'love'' is useless - open rebuke may lead to godly sorrow and repentance and thus LIFE! but 'silence' about the sin does not lead to repentance, thus death continues without life (there is no forgiveness without repentance).

and note that yahweh says that if someone is silent when they are supposed to warn someone about sin, the person who is silent may be declared guilty of the same sin they are silent about and they may receive the same exact punishment from yahweh as the one who is sinning.

the message of the men sent by yahweh in the OT and in the NT is always 'repent.....' in order to proceed and be forgiven and with the goal to receive life from yahweh --- not 'keep sinning' in order to remain dead and separate from life as an enemy of yahshua.

Can we please get back on topic??? There have been some wonderful answers and some very nasty comments as well. So can we please get back on track and be nice???

Ok new question: why is being gay such a "big sin"? I know it is a sin but why does it seem that the gay community is suffering more than most other groups of sinners at the hand of other Christians. :-(

Again reading some of the comments it seems that even if a homosexual decided to accept Christ then that homosexual is still going to hell. Can you point me to some verses in the Bible to support this view which is held by some?

I have gay friends. What use is it if I condemn them? How much more do the angels rejoice when one who is far from God finds his or her way home? Loving when it is uncomfortable for you to love is the love that God is trying to teach you.....and me.
We all have freinds and family in our life who continually practice those things which will not enter into the Kingdom of God though, practicing homosexuality is no greater then being a drunkard or a fornicator (who has sex with the opposite sex) there is no difference, the list is equal, not one greater then the other but all equally not entering into the Kingdom of God. Thats a scray place to be, if you loved them you warn them of this.

I was at a loss of words.
Is that a statement, or a question?
Yes children are born deformed.
I was asking how is a deformed child-- the same as a homosexual?
If you say they both were "born that way".....no need to respond back to this man.
It is such that you can see the natural example and accept it, and yet the spiritual is denied.

Why didn't God make all humans normal and not deformed? For the same reason He made a man who likes another man. Now you refusing to believe that both were "born that way", how is that worse than believing that I as a man who gets turned on by a sexy woman, but decides to sleep with men just because?

I think on your first point...it is not my job to judge...only to love. On the second I don;t think we disagree.
You CAN judge. I judge only this, that if one man died for all, then ALL were dead!

You're letting your cynicism run rampant. It's not becoming :(
From the start I spoke of them not being credible to me (alone) I think you missed that, if someone else enjoys willing goes and gets blessed thats great for them, its not for me, if you want to pay for such help, its your money. Jesus Christ is for free and is far more able and more powerful then they are.

They can be reborn, and be saved....

i didn't see those comments you're referring to, so don't know if that's what was said or not,

but can you show somewhere in the bible where it is written that 'accepting christ' is sufficient for anyone to be forgiven and receive eternal life instead of being resurrected for judgment ? that's not exactly the op, but it seems it could be such a blatant deviation from scripture it ought to be clarified, perhaps.

i realize that you might mean repent and be immersed in yahshua by the term 'accepting christ', but that's not clear from just this post or context here.

I hear what you are saying but a condemnatory kind of judgment is not under my authority. I can judge spirits and attitudes but in the end Jesus simply wants me to set a good example.

No its not.

No different from Christians who have sex outside of marriage, no different to the Christians who watch porn each night, no different to the Christians who gamble thier life savings away, what about the Christian who gets drunk most or every night, orr...... well, you get the idea. Homosexual are not sub humans or different from any other human or sinner, so stop treating them as if they were.

Every thing you named off is of the carnal mans nature...and IS bad to continue in as a professing Christian.
Homosexuality is the only one that is labeled as "unatural", as stated in the Bible.

Big difference.

"Thank you Father for healing ISeeYou."

Certainly God uses physicians and medicine to help us, but it's nice to speak to Him about a healing we need and receive it, knowing it's nothing for Him to do, and will do, if it's in our best interest. He's healed me of many physical issues. And I'm sure, if he continues to let me live here, that He will again.

I like the way my grandfather put it to the physician when the physician finished explaining what percentage he had of surviving the cardiac by-pass surgery he needed.

He said, "I believe in the Great Physician! You do the best you can. The results are up to Him."
When my husband was in car accident they pulled the springs of the seat out of his back, they can do some good, they can also screw things up as lots of people die in their care from wrongly prescribed drugs, but its a roll of the dice as with anything, you could luck out or be out of luck.

But for the mind soul and the spirit of man, I trusted Christ for that time and he did not disappoint.

Sirk didn't say, not to warn them here... unless condemning is warning them, which I don't think it is, is it?

Can we not do what Sirk said and warn them that it is "sin," as you stated above?

shaul persecuted christians, until yahweh called and chose and saved him. after that, he never hurt another person and didn't persecute anyone.

a thief if he repents and is immersed in yahshua no longer is a thief - he is a new creation. if he continues sinning willfully then he is not in christ jesus (see first john, first peter, matthew, mark and john if you are able to ).

a homosexual, or any kind of child molesting pervert , if they repent and are immersed in yahshua are no longer a homosexual or a child molesting pervert, (although they may still be held responsible for their crimes, especially against others, on earth by legal authorities). like any other sinner though, if they continue sinning willfully then they are not in christ jesus.

the scripture clearly sets out the steps of what to do if someone claims to be a brother in christ but continues to sin without repenting. that's for all sins that are not unto death, not just sexual perversion.

Such judgements are from the deceived.

If all were dead, then who will He save?
