how about this?-
https://www.biblestudytools.com/commentaries/robertsons-word-pictures/philemon/philemon-1-9.html

So perhaps he did not call himself "aged" but was worthy of doing so?
best wishes
That is it!!!.

Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
(Phm 1:9) KJV

yet for love's sake I rather appeal to you—since I am such a person as Paul, the aged, and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus—
(Phm 1:9) NASB

yet for love's sake I rather appeal to you—being such a one as Paul, the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ—
(Phm 1:9) NKJV

9 for love's sake I rather exhort, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also prisoner of Jesus Christ. Philemon 1:9 Darby

rather because of love I entreat, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ;
(Phm 1:9) LITV

Some other translations will say something like "I Paul, an old man".

What are the midwives Shiprah and Puah famous for?
Exodus 1:15-21 (NASB) Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, one of whom was named Shiphrah and the other was named Puah; and he said, "When you are helping the Hebrew women to give birth and see them upon the birthstool, if it is a son, then you shall put him to death; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live." But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt had commanded them, but let the boys live. So the king of Egypt called for the midwives and said to them, "Why have you done this thing, and let the boys live?" The midwives said to Pharaoh, "Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are vigorous and give birth before the midwife can get to them." So God was good to the midwives, and the people multiplied, and became very mighty. Because the midwives feared God, He established households for them.

Hi!, was just cruising around CC and revisited this, very wonderful provision of G-d for them at that time for His chosen people, how much more so today with His pouring out of His Spirit to all more than ever.

Crossnote, friend, do you have one for us?

Hi sister! Queen Vashti, I heard a teaching of how after that point, the point at which she refused the Kings request, she is heard of no more in the Scripture.

Correct, shittim! Great job!(y)

Interesting that she is not heard of any more in scripture..... however, the king did grieve over excommunicating her.

If Vashti had loved the king, she would not have refused him. It is so important for us to never lose our first love for Jesus Christ - our King.(y)

Thanks for sharing your insight!
