The question is really two-folded. Forgiveness comes from the Father through the sacrificial atonement by Christ. Believers are called to forgive others their debts as God forgave ours. I would call that grace wouldn’t you?
The question does not exist.

Jesus never spoke of "grace," Saul contrived and ballooned it, and because Jesus' spoken Word is too difficult for Preachers to handle, today they love to chit-chat about what Saul wrote. Saul was very skilled, even Divinely Inspired, to write many ambiguous ideas which need constant elaboration, far more than the direct and axiomatic Statements From Jesus.

Today, The Gospel is "Your Are Very Nicely Saved By God If You Feel Emotionally Comfortable About Saul And What He Seemed To Say."

The Gospel is not from Jesus, "If You Forgive Others Their Trespasses, The Father Will Forgive You Your Tresspasses."

I would have to say I thought the secular world had a misconception of Christianity, but when I came here I found out some Christians have even more of a misconception. Thus far I have see ones that only claim to follow Paul, now it’s only follow Jesus. Not to mention that one that claimed Jesus wasn’t even God. Oy vey!
God never planned for any of His Truth to be handed out on a platter, and gobbled right down. God hides much for desperate people to find and hear from the Holy Spirit.

Or ever spoke its equivalent. Saul fabricated the ideology of free ticket grace, then he wrote all about it.

Jesus stated in Matthew 6:14-15 that forgiveness of sins is through performing the righteous act of first forgiving all others their trespasses, then The Father will forgive. The words "grace" and "gift" are not used.

In vs. 15 He states the contralateral specification, that to fail to firgive others their trespasses will guarantee The Father will not forgive such an unrighteous person. Forgiveness of others establishes Godly righteousness.

Pity Saul did not think in those terms. He was too busy worrying about The Law. Saul's musings about The Law need not be read by Gentiles. We were never given The Law, only The Hebrews.

If here in their reply anyone talks about myself, I will report them.
Heresy. Pure and simple. To reject the divinely revealed Scripture given to Paul by Jesus is about as heretical as a supposed “Christian “ can get.

Sis, your profile says that you are not a Christian. So it's not surprising that you don't know much about grace.

We are saved by God's grace through our faith and belief in Jesus. His grace is sufficient for us. If we sin, and ask forgiveness He will forgive us. That's why He extends His grace to us.
I guessing this a sock

I don’t conclude that Paul was referring to the latter of your post. So in your opinion, should all of Paul’s epistles be ignored?

I think God’s made His revaluation to man over the course of 1500 years. I would be hard pressed to say in modern times God is hiding anything.

So you admit Paul was divinely inspired? So which was and which wasn't inspired. If you bring one doctrine into question every other should follow too.

These aren't Paul's words, but the revelation of Jesus Christ. So yes, Jesus did speak of grace.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
I Cor. 7:12, "Speak I [Saul], not the Lord."

Saul here does at least provide a simple example of honesty.

Jesus never told anyone directly “I love you “. Do you think Jesus loved people?

Galatians 1
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

James 4:6

But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:

“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”

This is the problem with your assertion.
and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
2 Peter 3:15‭-‬16 NASB

You can't deny Peter, who then in turn assert Paul.

Did Jesus speak about "Grace?"
Luke 2 40 And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.

John 6 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Ephesians 2 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

John 1 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

> You cannot say that John is a reliable witness when recording the words of Jesus, but then not a reliable witness when making this statement above. Or put another way, you trust John when he writes Jesus' word but then don't trust him when he writes under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit?

And two verses before that: 1 Corinthians 7v10 Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband.

Let's review what Jesus said about Grace.

"(..........)" There it is.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Maybe a little more review is in order?

@JoWillie, I am extremely surprised to read all this. And I am wondering, what do you actually believe about the Bible, about Jesus etc.? Because grace is actually the core of christian faith :)

Luke 2
12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a [d]manger.”
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
14 “Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!
15 So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.”

and in the same chapter

25 And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. 27 So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, 28 he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said:
29 “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace,
According to Your word;
30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation
31 Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples,
32 A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles,
And the glory of Your people Israel.”
