The question is really two-folded. Forgiveness comes from the Father through the sacrificial atonement by Christ. Believers are called to forgive others their debts as God forgave ours. I would call that grace wouldn’t you?
Jesus never spoke of "grace," Saul contrived and ballooned it, and because Jesus' spoken Word is too difficult for Preachers to handle, today they love to chit-chat about what Saul wrote. Saul was very skilled, even Divinely Inspired, to write many ambiguous ideas which need constant elaboration, far more than the direct and axiomatic Statements From Jesus.
Today, The Gospel is "Your Are Very Nicely Saved By God If You Feel Emotionally Comfortable About Saul And What He Seemed To Say."
The Gospel is not from Jesus, "If You Forgive Others Their Trespasses, The Father Will Forgive You Your Tresspasses."
