CHRIST has two ministries...

The Lamb of GOD
The Lion of the tribe of Judah

The second ministry can not begin, until the first is complete....
Yes, the following verse shows both. Jesus is a prince, the King of the earth in waiting. He’s the Savior, current ministry saving sinners. It shows the kingdom of heaven and kingdom of God in one verse.

Acts 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

The gospel message or the good news is that Jesus died for the sins of the world. That, in itself, is the gospel.
Paul preached the gospel of the kingdom which includes the present reign of Christ along with his death, burial and resurrection. You think he is twiddling his thumbs until the pharisaic millennium begins. The truth is, He is God and has always ruled the universe as he does today.

So, if I preach the death, burial and resurrection for sins, I’m preaching a different gospel? That’s funny stuff. The gospel of the kingdom is concerning the Jews earthly kingdom. Should we be preaching this? Jesus told the disciples not to preach this to Gentiles. The kingdom gospel include pd signs and wonders to prove the message. Hmmmm? Who seeks after a sign? Gentiles? The Church? The Jews? Bingo! The Jews.

Matthew 10
5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Paul preached the gospel of the kingdom which includes Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. He says you preach another gospel to be ignored.

The disciples preached the gospel of the kingdom and yet, they knew nothing of the d,b,r. Hmmmmm, are you certain of your statement? Paul’s gospel was specifically how Christ died for our sins, was buried and resurrected the third day. Can you post scripture, just one, where the disciples preached that gospel before the cross? Thanks.

The Gospel of the Kingdom in Paul and from Acts on;

But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.” Acts 8:12 (KJV 1900)

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:22 (KJV 1900)

And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.” Acts 28:30–31 (KJV 1900)

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Romans 14:17 (KJV 1900)

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” 1 Corinthians 4:20 (KJV 1900)

Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.” 1 Corinthians 15:24 (KJV 1900)

And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.” Colossians 4:11 (KJV 1900)

That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.” 1 Thessalonians 2:12 (KJV 1900)

Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:” 2 Thessalonians 1:5 (KJV 1900)

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;” 2 Timothy 4:1 (KJV 1900)

And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:18 (KJV 1900)

For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:11 (KJV 1900)

John says:

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 1:9 (KJV 1900)

Lol, you’re proving my point. During the earthly ministry of Jesus, they were preaching the gospel of the kingdom which was the kingdom of heaven, the physical restoration of the kingdom of Israel. Before the cross, they had no clue of the gospel of the death, burial and resurrection which gains entrance into the spiritual kingdom of God. Big difference.

This kingdom message was not the d,b,r for sins. They had no clue about that message.

Luke 18
31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

You see, they didn’t understand our gospel, the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was hid from them until after the resurrection.

Again, the kingdom of God, the spiritual kingdom. Anyway, this is not the disciples preaching the d,b,r for sins. Try again.

Phillip was not? Paul was not? You have an incomplete gospel without the present kingdom. A blind man's gospel.

Can you not post one Scripture before the cross where the disciples were preaching the d,b,r fof sins, Paul’s gospel? Just one?

If they were not preaching the d,b,r for sins...what were they going around preaching? What specifically was the message?

In my studies, The Bible clearly states that Jesus is not King yet, He is not currently ruling on the throne of David. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for believers, acting as our high priest. His throne is future. Jesus is not currently ruling this earth.

Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Ephesians 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
What a breath of fresh air of truth when you state the truth of the relationship of the Son and the Father. It is the Father who gave us Christ for our salvation. It is the Father who gives us His grace through what the Son did for us. It is the
Father who Christ tells us to pray to.

But that the Father is our God does not take away any of the attributes of the Son.

You will never see the message thinking like a Pharisee. They all demonstrated the kingdom with power identifying it as such.

Are you saying what they preached in Matthew 10 is the gospel of the d,b,r for sins? How could they preach the d,b,r for sins when that truth was hid from them? They didn’t want Jesus to die. Peter rebuked Jesus on occasion for even mentioning His death. Even after the resurrection the disciples thought the resurrection was an idle tale.

The gospel began in Eden with God's promise to Eve. Then more details became available in Abraham and so on. But it was always the gospel (good news).

If the gospel does not contain the d,b,r for sins, it is another gospel. Nobody would get saved saying, “the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” That’s the message the disciples preached specifically.

Peter preached the same gospel as Paul at Pentecost.
