Why would you come to such a conclusion when God had given them the right to eat freely of the tree of Life?? If there is no scripture saying that they did not eat from the tree of life and scripture states that God gave them access to eat of the tree of life.. Then the balance of scripture is in support that they had access to and ate from the tree of life before they where finally cast out and lost access to the tree of life....
I explained myself. Just drop it. This isn't something one can be right or wrong about. It's conjecture.
It's not something that will throw all Christendom into a downward spiral if we have a wrong opinion about it.

I share my belief and why i believe it.. There is no need to drop anything.. This was not an argument on my account. It was me sharing my thoughts.. You seem to see this as a fight or something.. It's not.. It's just a conversation as far as i am concerned.. No need to get defensive and hurt.. As you say This is not a discussion about a core doctrine of salvational importance.. So why get all emotional about it???

I'm not emotional at all.
You're the one banging on at me about it.

I'm putting you on ignore now because this is getting very tedious.

Well that's the think i was not ""banging"" on anyone.. It was just a normal discussion for me.. But for Lucy using Caps words and saying provocative words like Banging show just how unnecessarily triggered and emotional she was and is over a trivial matter..

Putting me on ignore again proves just how emotional Lucy-Pevensie is..

well...putting a high fence around a tree isnt that practical unless the tree is very young only a sapling.

I suppose it didnt occur to Adam to cut down this tree and use it for wood before it got a chance to fruit but then I suppose axes and chainsaws hadnt been invented yet.

John the baptist was into cutting down those forbidden trees. Also Jesus could curse a fig tree and it died.
He didnt need to use an axe.

wrong

and a good example of what the Bible calls conjecture or speculation...in fact we are told to stop doing that

22Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever23therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. 24He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.
Genesis 3

God prevented them from eating from the tree of life, put them out of the garden and placed a cherubim with a flaming sword, turning every way, to disallow them access

How can one be alone if God is present everywhere at the same time? A man without truth is the most miserable of all so wouldn't it be better to be alone than with someone who believes in an omnipresent God wouldn't you say?
We do not want to be married to the enemy. But if I could not get a husband wife relationship to work then it would be ok just to be brother sister with my wife. The Goal here is to understand God's plan and purpose and what sort of a relationship He wants us to have. Even why did God make them male and female in the beginning? Why do we have a man and a women, husband and wife? We are told that this is so we can understand the relationship we are to have with Jesus.

Adam proved we are a corrupt species when he sinned under perfect conditions. It's best to marry but divorce and remarriage is adultery under any circumstances. So it then becomes a curse.
Lots of people in the Old Testament had more than one wife. David had 8 wives. The one he got in trouble for was Bathsheba because she already had a husband.

Is this the same as the freedom of choice? That God tests us to see if we will make the right choice? According to Rabbi Friedman there is something else going on here: "If you see what needs to be repaired and how to repair it, then we have found a piece of the world that G-d has left for you to complete. But if you only see what is ugly in the world, then it is you yourself that needs repair." If we are co heirs with Christ are we also co creators with God? Does HE leave things for us to do? First we fix ourselves and then we fix a small part of the world (cosmos) that we find ourselves a part of.
this is what I have experienced, bad life choices, God helps to an extent, but its really up to us to take the final steps and fix what is broken. Free will and freedom are paramount to Gods kingdom.

Again the verse you quoted does not say they never ever ate from the tree of life.. It only states that after the fall God stopped them from eating from the tree of life.. Before that time He had given them permission to eat of it.. ..

I would rather we did not have choices in life. There are always consequences when we make the wrong choice. In Heaven we will always do what is good and right and true.

why did God say His creation, including Adam, was good then?

news flash: divorce and remarriage is not adultery under any circumstances

We do not want to be married to the enemy.
I would refer unto it as more an adversarial relationship that being married to the enemy.
But if I could not get a husband wife relationship to work then it would be ok just to be brother sister with my wife.
Is that fair to your help meet to sever that segment of the relationship?
The Goal here is to understand God's plan and purpose and what sort of a relationship He wants us to have.
Wouldn't that be a fruitful relationship?
Even why did God make them male and female in the beginning?
It is written, and God [Elohim (plural)] said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. One can conclude the reason that God made man as male and female is due to the reason given in John 5:19 "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise."
Thus, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17
Why do we have a man and a women, husband and wife?
Maybe because the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh referenced in Numbers 27:1 and O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh referenced in Numbers 16:22 symbolized the two great lights who formed the heaven and the earth in the beginning and made the male and female in their image after their likeness.
We are told that this is so we can understand the relationship we are to have with Jesus.
Or Jesus was sent that we could understand his relationship with his Father in heaven?

This is a bit of a play on the Julia Roberts movie: sleeping with the enemy.
