Of course she is saved!! What do you want her to do, jump thru hoops, or write a 1000 word essay, asking Jesus into her heart? His word says that "Whosoever shall call upon my name, SHALL BE SAVED". There is no ifs, ands or buts in that statement, Take the Lord at His word. Don't doubt and nitpick. I was saved with a simple, "Lord is there nothing else in this life for me?" The next morning I was a new creature in Christ. That was 32 years ago, the anchor still holds.
i also agree that she is Saved according to what Scriptures plainly teach. Now if she endures to the end and remains Saved that is entirely different story.
Sally is Saved. But can she deny Christ tomorrow? Can she hate someone tomorrow? Can she have unforgiveness towards someone tomorrow? Can she choose to fall away from God tomorrow? Is it possible that she can stop believing that God even exists tomorrow?
i know a woman, she was the most Godliest woman i have ever met. She was always helping people, working in soup kitchens, food drives, clothing drives, volunteering at nursing homes and the such, in the Church whenever anything at all was going on there. Her house was full of Jesus Pictures and Angels. She loved collecting Angel stuff. Any time i would see her on the Streets i would ask "Who are you going to help now?" she would laugh then tell me who she was going to help. i have never in my life seen someone so devoted to God, a True Christian, in my life, nor have i yet to come across a person that was on Fire for Jesus as she was. She was SAVED. She was a devout Christian.
i moved away, but i seen her a few years later. i seen her on the Streets and i asked her "So who are you going to help now?" laughing, she did not laugh, nor even smile at me. i asked her whats wrong? She said something to me that blew my mind, she said "I don't believe in a God any more" After much convincing her to talk about it, to tell me what happened, she agreed and i met her at her house. OH my Goodness. NO Angels, No Christian related pictures. Her place was drab, cold, and dreary looking. It was awful. Anyway. She told me her story. That it was her grandmother who introduced her to Jesus Christ, she was a very Godly woman, and was Holy in her eyes, she never did any wrong in her eyes. Her Grandmother was the most Holiest person that she knew. But she got some kind of disease, a very painful disease. Her Grandmother suffered miserable for a very long time. She prayed without ceasing for her grandmother, even offering up her life in place of hers. God did not answer, and her grandmother continues to suffer every day. When her grandmother died, she was convinced "There is no God" She denied Jesus Christ, She became Atheist. She would not recongnize or serve any God that would allow her Grandmother to go through what she did. Tell me is she still Saved? i know for a Fact that she WAS SAVED, but no longer Saved. She did not endure to the end, She denied Jesus Christ, she chose to fall from the Faith.
Now many people will say that she was not TRULY Saved then, these are liars, and do not know the TRUTH at all. She was SAVED, She WAS a Christian, SHE did believe in Jesus and worshiped Him fervently. She even brought people to the Lord. So you can go ahead and say she wasn't Saved, in order to protect the false doctrine that you hold on to dearly (OSAS) So as to not have to change your belief to line up with Scriptures. She WAS SAVED. Her name WAS written in the Book of Life, and it has been blotted out of the Book of Life. Those who believe the false doctrine OSAS will remain blind to this TRUTH, because to them, it is not possible for a person to be once SAVED to no longer be SAVED, therefore they use the EXCUSE "Well then they were not TRULY SAVED to begin with" Lies from satan!
Sally is Saved according to the Word of God. Now if she will remain that way is up to her. If she endures to the end is up to her. OSAS is a doctrine of the devil.
