Our fight is not with fleash and blood but with powers and principalities - as media and the internet is now the most globally powerful way to influence individuals for good and for evil - I sure would like to know who is winning that battle.
Battles? Not sure of the winner.

However I know who wins the WAR. Revelation 20-22 tells us the ending of this spiritual war.

I believe based upon our own personal experience and purpose in life (we are all part of the body but not all hands or eyes or mouths. We are different for a reason)

I believe those difference in who God made each of us, gives us a different view on scripture. Mainly because we each have a different message from God about what to do with our lives and God through scripture and the Holy Spirit guides exh of us to fulfill those purposes.

We don't have to agree on everything but we should agree on the basics:

We are all sinners in need of a savior (we can't save ourselves) Jesus is our Savior. He died for our sins on the Cross, was buried and rose again on the third day. He ascended into heaven and is currently seated upon His throne up there. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. He sent the Holy Spirit to seal us, make us born again adopted children of God and His ambassadors upon this Earth the Holy Spirit along with the Bible and annointed people God places in our lives teach and guide us until His return. We have a purpose for our lives and spiritual gifts to fulfill that purpose.
You have such a gentle, loving and graceful presence. Yes, I agree on those thing we need to agree

Been an active participant here in the forums now for a few months and now I have a question.

Hey listen, this isn't me seated up on a another self righteous box, a moral high ground, ranting, lecturing, and complaining, playing a moderator or a mom.

First let me admit to grabbing popcorn when I come across a topic that seems to stir up some battles. Those are juicy ones, calling to pick a side. But It isn't just on those kinds of threads, I see it happen in all kinds of discussions. Bam and pow, and holy batman, kaplow, tossing divisive accusations and insinuations, then getting the like in response. Folks reading, they, sometimes me, jump in the ring; loyalty and chivalry are beautiful things.

I clearly admit that this fascinates me too, to the point that perhaps it is a sin. Listen, I'm just curious, if we never saw a calm discussion get out of hand, become heated and even offensive to some, would we like it?

Is part of this forum’s appeal found in the verbal discourse centered in conflict, or even attempts for conflict resolution? Do you think complete unity and harmony besides being completely unrealistic and unnatural for us, would it also be boring? Do we want a little drama (emphasize on the little, because a lot isn't entertaining, not for me, not in the least)? In our fallen world, we like watching and participating in opposition. We see it in sports and we see it everywhere. It seems to appeal to our flesh, but do you think it can be good? Even Adonai is at odds with the evil one. Our Abba could get it over with, squashing satan's existence; but He chooses to keep the opposition alive, calling for us to pick a side. Maybe this topic or question also offends. It certainly is not my intent. But if you have a moment...

Be honest, please, I am curious...
There are those here for the arguments sake, and there are those here in hopes of seeing a clearer light.

I would love to have discussion without rancor / name-calling, and I don't think it would be boring. On the contrary, I think it would bless our hearts.

In Psalm 133, David wrote Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

I believe we will be in complete unity and harmony in new heaven / new earth. Do we think we will find new heaven / new earth boring?

Good point, no, peace is so thrilling.
