It was a heck of a week.....I preached his funeral, two days later the funeral of a 2 year old that had died of cancer and three days after that my neighbor who I had played golf with a few times....at the latter I got to spend two or three hours speaking with a Jewish man from NYC....he was so impressed with my knowledge of his people he sent me a Tanach in the mail a week later.....was a whirlwind week for sure

Faith without works is dead. The measure of faith that was given you to believe was of God.
But now what have you done with this faith? Did you keep it to yourself? Did you hid it? Did you share it with others?
Faith comes by hearing but we are to be doers also. We are Held accountable for what we have heard.
Jesus said deny me before men and I will deny you before the father....kinda of rough huh? And if Jesus is the only way to the father ( which he is) then what happens then?
What is denying Christ before men? Is it what Peter did when he said I don't know him? Yes but also we are to give a answer to those that ask of the hope in us. What will you say that is? If you are hiding that hope before men then are you ashamed of the gospel? Of Christ?
The word tells us to come out from among them. Let your light shine. Go and preach to the nation's.
Faith is a action it is not a thought. To have faith one must demonstrate why so that others may believe.
Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Actually both are true! However, our works do not result in salvation but in rewards. See 1 Corinthians 3:1-15. "Gold silver precious stones" describe works of faith. "Wood hay stubble" describes works of righteousness.

No, you are reflecting your own imagination here. I am following the sayings of the Word of God.

Rom. 3:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

I don't believe the Christ imputed His Righteous to me so I am free to reject, omit or ignore God's Words which is what caused my death in the first place. As Paul said.

Rom. 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

How is being purchased by the Blood of Christ and following His instructions MY righteousness?

When did I ever say in any post I have ever posted that I must "keep my righteousness to be found approved of God?

Where do you guys get this stuff?
Romans 3:25 talks about remission, not redemption (Hebrews 9:12)

I heard that......thank God we have been born again of INCORRUPTIBLE seed, from ABOVE through the IRREVOCABLE GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE by GRACE through FAITH
Amen to that brother. And if that were not so...no one would be saved.
