I'm curious to know if there are some on this forum that deny the deity of Jesus Christ?

Hi and thanks for your reply to me . I totally agree with u . We are all on the same journey but some r more advanced than others , some of us know things that others don't . God opens His Word to each of us individually , He teaches us at the pace that He knows is best for us as individuals . This is why we should not belittle or berate others who disagree with us ,maybe they know something that we don't yet know , or maybe it's the other way around . Either way , we r to encourage each other as individuals , on the same path but not always on the same level . There is only one God , the Holy One of Israel and one mediator between God and us , Jesus Christ the Righteous , the only begotten of the Father and our Sinless High Priest in Heaven . Thanks again .

Hi , can u please clarify exactly what u mean when u say the deity of Christ ? I know , sounds like a dumb question but , if I'm not exactly sure what u mean by that then I don't want to chime in . Thanks 😁

Good question...... it's just another way to say that Jesus is God. When we look at the OLd Testament, He was Creator, 100% God (Deity).

In the New Testament we are reminded many times in the gospels and Paul's epistles/ letters that He is God Almighty, Creator of the universe.
We also know that He fulfilled all the prophesies that the Lord became a perfect Man, yet without sin.
He was still God but He humbled Himself in dependence and submission to the Father in Heaven.
He experienced weakness as every man does. He didn't give into Satan's temptation to create food for Himself even though He did that for over ten thousand people.

First, I want to thank everybody for the "thumbs up." I feel kind of foolish by not knowing that one can get banned on this site if they do not believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, especially after being here 8 years.

You should know that I've been a Christian for 63 years now and I do frequent three other sites mainly dealing with "apologetics." There are many groups who deny the deity of Jesus Christ such as Unitarians, Jehovah's Witnesses, Christadelphians and many others.

As some of you know these groups/people advance the non-Biblical idea that Jesus Christ is a created being/person like the rest of us. He is considered a man only and He never pre-existed His actual birth. They also quote John 17:3, "And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent." Of course, they often disregard the second part of the verse, "and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent."

Now, here's the question the Lord gave me to ask the other day when I was dealing with a person that denies the deity of Jesus Christ. It's at John 17:5, two verses down from vs3. "And now, glorify Me with Thyself, Father, with the glory I had with Thee before the world was/existed."

I said to myself if Jesus Christ is a man like the rest of us and never pre-existed His birth, and was born between 6 and 4 BCE, how did He know He existed before the world existed? I will be glad to accept any and all answers. I also hope this helps if you should have any dealings with those who deny His deity.

IN GOD THE SON,

Thanks for explaining why you asked that question.
I think it is good for a forum to allow agnostics to doubt the deity of Christ,
as long as they seem to be seeking salvation and are open-minded to finding God.

Deity of Christ =Christ is God.
And visa versa, God is Christ the two are One (Won) for us people to believe, receive and be new in love and mercy to all too, thanks, for your response
I, see Christ came in the flesh through the tribe of Judah from the Virgin Mary. to keep the perfect Law, that in his one time willing death once for all we are all reconciled as forgiven first. Then new life from the day he was risen by Father, that one, anyone decides to believe God in risen Son, start boot camp, at least for me a lifetime troubles and I am now 68 still standing in trust to Father and Son as Won (One) for us to be content in all things that happen here good or bad, at least me. That is the rest I see to stand in Thanksgiving and praise, not denyingGod loves us all. Thanks

That is to say that Jesus Christ is a created man like the rest of us and He did not pre-exist His birth in Bethlehem around 6 to 4 BC. I have a very important question to ask you that might change your mind as to His deity?

IN GOD THE SON,

There are many that deny that Christ came here on earth in Flesh and blood
This unbelief began when John on the island of Patmos got a letter that told him about a gathering of mixed believers

So John responded 1 John 1, forward with

We ate, we touched, we saw, we heard, that is what 1 John is about \
These people that did not believe Jesus the Christ came to earth in the flesh through woman Mary from the tribe of Judah. John was writing to correct the misstep of belief in a Savior Jesus the risen. people not seeing, he had to die first, willingly to reconcile us all to himself as forgiven, we can now go to Father as if never sinned to learn new from Daddy how to act and respond to things. Not yet saved reconciled in his death, saved in his risen Life for us to stand in, no matter what one goes through, at least me. Be willing between Father, you and Son for you to be taught new and you will be, thank you

Oh, and those people that did not believe Jesus came in flesh are known as Gnostics today
