When one gets saved, they need to be discipled in the truth to grow in their salvation and walk as a child of light. It doesn't come automatically. Being renewed in the word daily is a great start. There are many, however, who do not have a bible, a local bible believing church, others around them to disciple, and they are left in the world as a new born babe in Christ. They may never mature in their faith.

I agree with what you wrote for the most part, but I know that if a person really wants to know God and want to grow to maturity in Him, that even if they may be lacking certain things currently like a Bible, or a local Bible-believing church, and Christians to disciple them, I believe that God will provide for them somehow.

Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
